Had an enjoyable night. Good atmosphere and service. Food was great. One little moan. The shrimp cocktail was overpriced for the size of the dish.

We had our wedding reception here over a year ago and the staff were so kind and accommodating. The manager even took some notes for her own wedding! The food was marvelous - we're still raving about it to all our friends and whaanau. If you're there, make sure you try the deep fried camembert and the hot pot pie! The apple pie is also legendary and goes well with a splash of beer.

Great beer options, Guinness is excellent. We had the Stout and Steak pie which was fabulous, and chicken and brie burger very good too.

The best part that I loved about going to the Londoner was the fact that they have authentic meals that my parents or family used to make it was one of the highlights of going home to a good old fashioned home cooked meal and that's what the Londoner does well, personally if I had my way I've dine their everynight

When you go to America, there is a sense of pride in the goods on offer, and keen competition. So you see signs outside letting you know they are The Best, The Original or The One and Only. Then in England there are pubs that have no such dreams. They know what they do, and its OK. You get signs outside that say things like "Food", just to let you know it is possible to eat there. The Londoner has captured the vibe of an English pub that sells Food, perfectly. When I went, there was a bit of a domestic going on between the bar staff and kitchen staff, which if anything added to the authenticity. Plus they sell Old Speckled Hen, which is great beer and goes well with Food

My Lunchtime Chicken Tenders with Salad & Chips have changed, I dont like it but I have been frequenting this establishment for many years & it has never disappointed me except for this one time (was so hungry, i still cleaned my plate😁) TIP: Don't change what aint broke ☺

Great food, awesome staff and amazing atmosphere. Pool tables, quiz nights, and a fireplace for cold days. Big tables and ability to pre-order makes it great for large groups but there's also small corners for pairs. Includes some typical British foods on the menu and English beers on tap. Highly recommended.

As an Aussie on holiday, I found this place refreshing.food was cheap and very good. The beer on tap was fantastic I will be recommending it on my travels. congrats to the girls on the bar this day they aren't paying you enough

I was so excited to find a place selling English ale, in a very good approximation of an English pub. Lovely bar food, but the beer is served far too cold! Great value for money, and a nice place to spend a couple of hours with friends.
