T.The food here was impeccable, flavors and everything were so authentic. It's a chinese style service, where you order to share. The staff are waiting and willing to serve and they're quick to clean up after you when needed. Highly recommend the Peking Style Pork Ribs. Take a friend cause it can add up in $$$ but worth it.
M.FUSION Rating - 110% the best restaurant i have ever went to. The most exquisite meal my family and I have ever had, staff were very attentive, welcoming and so lovely. The chef was amazing in the quality of food that was produced and delivered. Absolutely 5 stars for Fusion. We definitely will be back 💗
e.Just average. Unlike other yum char place, they only bring the food to your table once. If you said no to it, they won't come back again unless you ask for it. The taste is average too.
6.Place had good food but only reason why I gave it 3 stars is there is alot of things that are pork and I am allergic so other then the vegis there was only about 1/5th of the menu I could have

T.Omg, shock of my life when I went to my favourite Asian restaurant to find that it had been closed down. I live in Auckland and was travelling to HAMILTON and thought, ‘Yassss! Victor’s for lunch. Was almost heartbroken when I saw that the restaurant had been closed! At the moment, I flicked through my Snapchat stories and found that my cousin had been snapping images at the restaurant that appeared to have closed 14 hours before and I’m like, ‘yoohooo, have they relocated?!’ and she confirmed and gave me the new address! I was a happy lil camper and found my appetite had returned. Victor - you need to mention on your website that you’ve changed address k...? Otherwise people may think you’ve completely closed down... but because I’m a loyal customer, I sorted that out for you. Patrons - The new reastaunt (if you haven’t been yet) is an intimate setup, with an exposed kitchen that allows customers to see what goes on when their order is being prepared. It does have a few flights of stairs to reach the restaurant, but once you’re there - order up! My favourite dish is the string beans - highly recommended! I can eat that on its own for a meal. Check out the website for the entire menu A+. If you’re on a wheelchair - bring a young person to carry you up
K.Really delicious food, great place for kids especially in the upstairs part - there is a kids playing area. The karaoke booths looked cool too, will have to go back for that!

I.Work been a regular customer of Victor's place for a long time. The service is always professional there is never any wait for food which is always tasty. Now after many years I've tried every dish on the menu and everything is good. You can't make a wrong choice ordering food which is great. The venue is great for groups or just a couple friends who not only want to eat but sing in the karaoke booths for a couple hours.

It was my first time here and so maybe consider having one person communicate to the customers the system of table service and how it all works? When i asked how to order (3x) i was told to WAIT 😑. K.I have been a long time customer to this establishment. When it moved 2 yrs ago I followed. The owner is top notch along with his amazing menu food and service. Probably the best of Hamilton's Asain foods can be found here. House wine really good as well

D.We visited this wonderful, very clean and extremely welcoming restaurant for lunch today. The staff were brilliant and so good explaining what each dish was etc. The waitress was very chatty and so sweet to our 7 year old who was unsure of the food etc but soon was reassured by the staff that the meals were scrumptious :-)

J.Victors food range is broad and meals are larger than I expected. Very tasty but the atmosphere is lacking. But ... Good food.

A.It's a so-so. I went with my family back at the old venue and I enjoyed it very much, but now with the bigger venue, everytime and I mean e.v.e.r.y.t.i.m.e we went there the service was really lacking. I'm not quite the patient person and having to wait for 40+ minutes for a meal with the fam is really not it. I hope they hire more staff or something, because the food is decent but the service is- lacking.
M.Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Fun and on to it staff. Music could be turned down a bit but other then that, another world experience if you want to try māori cuisine 😍

T.Malaysians/Singaporeans will love the Chinese food here - portion is good and prices are reasonable. The roast duck is so tender - never overcooked and dry. The fried squid tentacles are big and tasty. Portion size is not an issue.
BUT, it is always packed, and it's super madness on weekends. Last Saturday evening we sat for 2 hours (NOT counting the wait to pay), and only 3 out of our 4 orders came out. It was an AGONIZING wait, and we had to ask the servers to check on our orders several times, but what could they do?
Victor was so ambitious to have a huge dining area, but way too small a kitchen to sustain the demand. One main cook for such a busy restaurant. The tables are not numbered (as of yesterday Fri Mar 22, 2019), and last Sat when we sat at the large dining room, we watched the servers bringing the wrong dishes to the tables so many times while we waited for our food. Servers were frustrated, embarrassed and apologetic, and the guests were getting increasingly annoyed. Some guests like us left without finishing their orders.
The food serving system in place reeeeally needs to be looked into. For that I am giving 3 stars. We still go back cos for Chinese food, Victor's is as good as it gets in Hamilton. Did I mention portion size is not an issue? They got the taste nailed, and the prices are reasonable. Just don't go after 7pm on weekends and holidays, especially if you're organizing for a group of diners. Getting the table is not the problem, it's the awfully lonnnnng wait you would have to endure.....

G.We regularly go here with family celebrations. I enjoy the ability to select the different portions as they come past. You can enjoy more of what you want. If you don't like it there is other mouths to share it with. Some dishes is definately enjoyable. Some is a bit weird for my liking although some in the family will have it as first choice. If you are interested in Chinese food, try yum cha. It allows you to try different tastes and flavours. It took me some time to figure out what I like. Just don't expect meals in sequence. They come when it is served and you have to pick it when it is there e.g. sweet dishes may arrive before meats. Yum cha is not a western meal. Service is very good. I would recommend booking a table on weekends and holidays. This is a great place for groups.
G.I had my birthday dinner with my family at Victors Place on the 3rd of March 2017. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. Excellent service. I highly recommend Victors Place for an amazing dining experience. It was that good that I have rebooked for our work luncheon again on Saturday the 11th March 2017. Thank you Victors Place. AAA+++ rating from us.
C.The Dim Sum is quite close to HONG KONG style and doesn’t like other Chinese restaurants which they put a lot of MSG to make it taste good. But make sure you avoid the lunch peak hour, Dim Sum taste better when it is just cooked.

G.If you are after dim sum in Hamilton you are after a trip to victors. Be aware some items are better pre ordered when you sit down. Most of the menu though will be out on trolleys. Make a reservation unless you are happy to wait for a table

A.After having some great meals in the past, we returned last week. It was very disappointing. It seemed that we were getting whatever was left at the end of the night, even though it was an hour before closing when we finished and there were other diners who arrived after us.

Victor (Victor's Restraurant owner) is engaging and has a wonderful sense of humour; he is helpful and acknowledges his customers. And of course the Master Chefs; Victor has employed the best Chinese chefs and I thank them.
Chinese culture is ancient and extraordinary; there language and food.
