R.Exceptionally Clean inside and service was great...
That's about the highlights sadly.
We got 3 burgers and fries.
Firstly, the burgers are huge! Unfortunately all 3 burgers buns were past freshness, wife had to chuck hers out and make it a salad, and Not much sauce to speak of. Flavours just not quite there for us.
Fries were nice.
Purchased on a Thursday, a shame as we looked forward to this one.
Maybe an off night 🤷♂️
M.It's hard to find truly good burgers around NZ and the burgers here we're right up there.
Apart from a slight under-salting and the fact that they were dripping with juices, these burgers were top notch.
Great realistic meat patty without any fillers, burger buns were also really good quality (another challenge for a good burger).
Will be visiting again!!

G.Was looking forward to hitting this place up again after a few years since the first visit. Was good but doesn't quite get some things right. Firstly, a Philly cheese steak has never and should never have slaw or any other type of salad in it. Steak, cheese, onion and maybe mushroom as an option. Then there is the still no malted shakes only normal milkshake flavours.

S.We went here for dinner tonight to try something different. Husband and boys loved their burgers and I loved my loaded fries. Any issue we had was fixed instantly without question. Great customer service, great food. I only give it a 4 star because we weren't able to get desserts because their ice cream machine was down. (my favourite part of a meal is dessert haha).
S.Massive, delicious burgers in a classic Americana setting. We had the BCA (bacon, chicken, avocado), and the Beer battered Lamb, topped off with a Banana split sundae. Forget the calories, this was heaven! Thanks Boulder Burgers!
t.Great burgers was super busy when we went in so was an hour wait which wasnt ideal with having kids with us but was totally worth the wait huge burgers tasted fresh and flavoursome really friendly man that served us apologised for our wait really clean inside will deffinately be back!!
A.First time in hanmer an was very impressed with the burger i got last night for tea .every where we go ,i try the burgers ,an this place has one of the best burgers iv ever had .definetly be coming back .hats off to the chef 😊
A.So this is my 1st time here.To be honest, I was sceptic because I like to play it safe with familiar places but it's one of the best places I've been to in Hanmer! The burgers are phenomenal and the 60ties vibe is just stunning! I think location is key.They should be more visable because it's a really good place for quality food and service.
M.We enjoyed our Boulder burger and cheese burger meal. The staff are pleasant to talk to and I like how the place looks with the retro Popeye the Sailor black n white cartoon on the screens.

The best burger option Hanmer Springs could have asked for.
Bacon was cooked to perfection, buns lightly grilled and still deliciously soft, meat and cheese as tasty as it ever should be.
A good view too.
Chips were nice and milk shakes looked good.
I would recommend going here over anywhere elsein Hanmer if you feel like a burger. 🍔 🍟 🍔

I got their chicken/avocado/bacon, husband got the Boulder Burger and our 3 kids got the huge loaded hotdogs - we originally went there as my husband did some work for some of the staff who were lovely so didn't know what the food would be like, but we certainly weren't disappointed - will be keen to go back next time!
A.Really good american-style burgers that were absolutely delicious! They never seem to bother answering the phone so you'll have to go instore to order. Look forward to coming back to try more options on the menu👍

E.Great little find in Hanmer Springs. Was craving a burger and these guys delivered! Absolutely huge burger but the flavour was excellent. Finally a burger that isn't on a brioch bun! Thank you. This is a 'real' burger and definitely worth a try.
V.I had the Philly Cheesesteak and my husband had the B.A.C. We shared the loaded fries. Absolutely the best burgers we have both tried. We could of shared a burger as the portion size is huge but if that's our biggest concern then it's not bad. Milkshakes were also yummy and ended up coming back for dessert which was the Kiwi Sundae. Very yummy and huge so should of shared again. Definitely recommend this place.

O.The fries were very delicious. However, the bun of the burger was a little soggy and not very pleasant. The chicken was yum but overall was an okay meal. the service was not bad, but could have been a little better. Overall, a very average experience. #nohatethoughweloveyouboulderburger
T.Had the hawaian chicken and fish burger on separate occasions. Both were excellent, especially the fish was above expectation for size and flavor. Chips are nice and crispy. Clean, classic decor and really friendly service.

J.This place is a hidden gem! Just a short walk from the town centre in a a new shopping block. Styled after an american diner of the 50's 60's. Great food and good value. Staff are pleasant and helpful. One warning - watch the servings - they are substantial! Not a complaint - just great value, and delicious! Recommended to a friend who was heading up that way - he thanked me for the tip! :)

A.Best burger that I have had while in NZ. Good enough that I visited twice during my stay. My family agreed that it was very good. The $10 special is the best value in Hamner Springs imo.
