Had a wonderful dinner last night at Fire and Ice Cafe Restaurant & Bar. We picked the seat outdoors by the fire place. The staff were very friendly and came to check us on and off. We ordered the Moroccan Chicken, Tuscan Lamb Salad and Farm on a Plate, all of them are savoury and delish. I was surprisingly provided with a warm blanket by a very warmhearted and thoughtful staff as he saw me sitting close to the fire place. We are planning to go for a lunch today and looking forward to it.

Arrived at 6pm after the Thermals Pools, it was busy but we got a table. Ordered quickly and waited eagerly for our meals. Food took ages to come, so I took the kids outside to the playground. Eventually got all the food on the table after 45 mins. It would be better if they got the kids' meals out first. For $15, the kids' meals are good value, as you get a main, drink and dessert. We ordered the "Farm on a plate" and the Ribeye

Our goto place in Hanmer Springs. You can never go wrong here. The kids love it here as the have a great play area for them and they always make friends there. No back to the nitty gritty. The menu is extensive and there's something for everyone. The food is tasty and very generous is portion size. They have some great beers on tap and also a fairly large alcoholic menu including some great cocktails. My newest favourite is the "Grown Up Lemonade"😁. We've never left disappointed and our tummies was always full. Sadly our favourite dessert got removed from the menu, so no more "Trio of Mouse" for us after our food. The kids still enjoy their ice cream and chocolate sauce with out a doubt. They also have a breakfast for $9.99 which we still need to try out, but I do know that we will not be disappointed.

It was a busy at Fire and Ice and we didn’t have a reservation which meant we had to wait close to an hour to be seated. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great but it could be due to them being so busy. Food was average so my overall rating is quite low and us based on my experience on the night. It was pricey for what we got

We spent 2 dinner nights and lunch dining here over the labour weekend. although the weekend was ultimately busy for your team, you provided us great service. On top, like your service, was the very abundant sunshine making the environment warming, welcoming and relaxed. Best place to come and chill if you have children because of the playground that gives the kids their piece of playspace which is what is a must for families… The drinks and the food quality is on point! Absolutely recommend!

Great food had a chicken stack and the chicken burger with fries definitely reccomend (Also their lemon lime and bitters is bar made with actual bitters same with cola and raspberry. Not from a can or bottle 👌)

Beautiful atmosphere. The staff really made my partner and I feel welcome! We came up to Hanmer from Christchurch for an over night getaway. Dinner food was absolutely delicious and very well portioned and priced! Would definitely 110% recommend going here for dinner. Will be going for breakfast tomorrow morning so will edit this post after. Very very impressed!

YESSSSSS FIRE AND ICE, BABY! I'd loved coming here a few months back, sitting in the gorgeous green courtyard watching - in awe - 4 surrounding tables drain beer towers. That was it - I simply had to come back for that leaning beer Pisa. Their pre 6pm deal gives you a beer tower for $40 alongside a kg of wings (which we replaced with fries - amen). First, it's an AMAZING deal. Secondly, it was delicious. Third, how cool to order your 2L tower from a 12 year old boy. Absolute champ!

Really amazing food, especially if you like meat. Warm, cozy feel. Became our go to while we were in Hanmer. Also very reasonably priced compared to many of the other places around - if you want amazing breakfast and dinner in Hanmer, go here.

Amazing service, great friendly staff and heaps of outdoor seating options. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a dog friendly pub in Hanmer, with great food and reasonable drink prices. 10/10 will be coming back.

All the meals were unbelievable. My mate had the lamb and it just melted with every bite, the flavours were amazing. Another mate had the T-bone and i had the sirloin, I can truly say this restaurant can cook the best steaks I have ever eaten. The kids meals are the best too, we were all impressed. Also the staff were unbelievable amazing 5 stars all day long 👍👍👍

The farm on a plate meal $42 Steak, pork chop, ham steak, chicken n chips with a salad n onion rings with 6 sauce options ! Beautiful food with beautiful service even under the pressure they performed exceptionally well. I do recommend that lunch/brunch and dinner..over breakfast

We enjoyed our evening at Fire and Ice...the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. However we were disappointed that staff members relaxing in the area we dined in were smoking...disappointing. otherwise really pleasant atmosphere outside on a perfect Hanmer evening.

The Staff were lovely. The food was pretty poor. I got the Ribeye which was done as requested. However had a sour and bitter aftertaste, and the chicken my Partner got, was dry and tough. Thanks for the amazing service though.

Husband and I popped to Hanmer Springs for a day trip on Monday. We love Fire and Ice so popped on in for lunch. Hubby got nachos and a mocha frappucinno and I got the soup of the day (potato and bacon) and a pineapple juice. My soup of the day was fantastic and I love that it is served in bread. The nachos were delicious and we are considering adding chorizo to our nachos moving forward. Service was prompt and food did not take long to arrive to the table. Overall another great experience at Fire and Ice.

Quite disappointed, we went in and it was average busy. We were not helped to be seated even though there was a sign saying wait to be seated so we went and sat down. My wife went to ask for service and was told they will be with us but forgot so I had to ask again. Then when we finally helped they took ages to bring the drinks and then a while later the food. But did not provide Cutlery to eat with so once again I had to ask for it. These meals are seriously not cheap so you would expect the service! I can honestly say I cannot recommend this place even though the place looks amazing but sadly management is poor and so is the service!

overall, it is a nice restaurant. we ordered beef burger which was awesome. the burger tasted nice and the fries were fresh and crispy; 5/5. we also ordered pork ribs, unfortunately, this one was not that good ! the sauce were too sweet and the smell of the pork was so strong and a little bit irritating; 3/5 The staff were super helpful and friendly :-)

Lovely courtyard setting and windows open right up so even indoor tables feel like you're outdoors. Generous portions, well cooked, reasonable selection of beers.

Yes the place was busy, yes the team were short-staffed & under the pump but the staff were open & honest about this when we walked in. We had the best time & the staff were nothing but lovely even though they were having a crazy night! Massive kudos to every that worked tonight, you guys rock!

My daughter and I had dinner at Fire and Ice recently, the kids meals are great value for money, I had the giant beef burger meal - which was huge but the burger was a bit tasteless, the patty needed some seasoning or flavour added. The place is nice with loads of seating options indoors and out, kids playground a huge bonus.

Fabulous! The morning in the Hot pools ,then found this Gem across the road from the pools,the Mediterranean Pasta was the best I've ever had ( and I have spent time in the Med. Perfection!

The food was good (especially given it was a vege burger), the serving size was excellent, and the staff were nice and helpful. The outside seating area was in deperate need of a clean though.

Very good food. Service is excellent. Been there with group of 5 people. They’ve variety of food. There salmon is a must try. Service is top notch If you’re going for hot springs nearby I would definitely recommend this place for food.

This place has great outdoor dining. It is beautiful and romantic. The food is amazing and the staff are so funny.

I don't understand why they didn't get 5 stars from others, but for me I am willing to give 6 stars. Food is amazing good and open until LATE night. When you travel from other country or town you want to be treated welcome. other shops have already closed the kitchen, but this one offered us fabulous food(special THE amazing ribs which you must absolutely try) Sorry only got next morning breakfast pic. that dam ribs, we were too hungry couldn't wait for a pic and finished too quickly... Hahaha

They have today’s special dinner menu and I picked up Thai Curry from them it was all $20. Felt it’s a bit small portion but taste good. Good place for a quick dinner after the hot spring!

Savalina and Jaymie were amazing. We went in for a drink and stayed to eat and drink a lot because the vibe was perfect. Excellent service and food

Great family restaurant and excellent caring service! We have enjoyed their food both times we've visited. The steaks are quite good and we like the food in general. I tried their hamburger tonight but found the patty to be too dry and there wasn't enough of their "special" sauce to compensate. All-in-all I would recommend visiting this restaurant.

The food was great! They know there meats well and know how to cook them to the individuals likings. Everyone around us was complementing the food. In regards to individuality Hanmer Springs have a lot of restaurants that offer the same cuisine as Fire and Ice, it's a very "pub meal town" however saying that Fire and Ice would be the best Hanmer Springs have to offer in this particular category. Service was great 👍 👌

This place we will be coming every family holiday, the food is amazing the customer service made us feel welcomed and reasonable priced. We have children 4,5 and 13 there is a playground for little ones and colouring in to keep them occupied. Can't fault anything if we could give them 10 stars we would. We had the spare ribs so delicious

Hubby and I wanted to try something different and decided to pop in and try the seafood platter... It was medioka, there is room for improvement here... In general we had a lovely time...

Good vibe. Good menu. Seafood platter was great. Staff useless had to go to the bar & get our own drinks twice. Didn't clear table when we finished. Would have liked dessert and a 3rd round of drinks but the 5 staff standing doing nothing didn't bother to even come to the table....

Had breakfast here on Saturday and the food was on point. Definitely coming back, next time I'm in Hanmer.

The service was speedy and well timed. Besides the drink that was forgotten (later comped) the food was alright. Possibly made a bad decision in ordering the "giant burger" definitely not giant and not worth the price in my opinion. Lovely atmosphere apart from the same children opening the door to the frigid cold, no less then 16 times in half an hour. (Not the staff's fault but they made no effort to the contrary)

Very impressed. I've been to eateries that are twice the cost with half the quality of food and service . Every staff member we dealt with were efficient and pleasant. Very quick turn around for our meals and the overall cost was very, very good value for money. Food was delicious and portions were generous.

Outstanding venue, basic food. We got good service when we entered, no seats available inside so seated us outside and within 5 minutes got us a table inside to move to, good start. Drinks order taken immediately, great. Starters and kids orders taken, next then out mains orders. There was quite a wait for the meals, I would not be happy with that wait time in my restaurant. My garlic loaf was presented nicely, but not great eating. My rump steak, rare, tasted like it was straight off a BBQ, had that burnt BBQ taste to the outside, the searing was overdone in my opinion and diff not taste like restaurant staff, more home cooked BBQ steak. Overall we were well looked after, and it was very cozy and warm inside, great atmosphere. I would be happy to visit again.

Great location with outdoor and indoor set up. 3rd visit for us this week. Monday a gin and tonic and a pint cost $19, Tuesday it cost $16 and Wednesday it cost $21. Wednesday bar service wasn't as good, the staff did not listen to what we where ordering. The other two days the staff where fantastic.

Great food lovely atmosphere. Well worth a visit. Went here for dinner on Saturday August 15th 2020. Hubbie had the Tee Bone steak, chips, and eggs. I had the rib eye with veges and mushrooms. And we both topped it off with the chocolate mouse, and washed it down with two drinks each (Canadian Club) to boot. The whole lot came in under $150.00. We both thought the meal was outstanding, the service excellent, and also very good value for money. Will definitely be back here for a feed anytime of the day as what we experienced was brilliant.

My 2 little ones were fortunate enough to discover Fire and Ice on our visit to Hamner and were blown away by both the staff, service and food we were treated to. Prices were very reasonable, our orders arrived promptly with a smile in a well decorated venue with a great outlook of the township and surrounding area. It's always a good place to go and the food is always good.

Service was efficient to start with, but quality of the steaks ordered, and the chicken tenders being overcooked, was a disappointment. One person's entree and main arrived at the same time. Won't be returning in a hurry. 😔

Had breakfast there. Nice ambience. Friendly serving staff......but the coffee was luke warm and the food was also barely warm. Guess you get what you pay though.......it was cheap.

Staff were lovely. The young lady who cleared the plates was delightful. Medium rare steak sandwich was unfortunately well done . My chicken was overcooked but tasty. Not the restaurant's fault but smokers don't understand smoke drifts everywhere and its unpleasant. They moved us no problem when we asked.

Really nice looking place, nice selection of beer on tap, food was good, great to have kids outdoor play area, and HEAPs of staff, I counted 8 on the floor and behind the bar. Must have been a couple more in the kitchen. It was easy to count the staff, they were all milling around together chatting. They out numbered the patrons but despite their numbers, table service was rubbish. No table clearance until we left and if you want another drink, better head inside and interrupt the conversation.

Food is fine, just a shame that both times we came we had issues with the quality of our orders (tough steak and a smoothie that had split). Thankfully issues were quickly rectified. Seemed knowledge and/or confidence was a bit lacking in some of the staff too.

Nearly didnt visit (we tend to avoud places that include children's playgrounds) but a power outage and the overiding need for coffee led us to their brightly lit door. A round of well made coffee led to dinner, a bottle if wine and...hey, why not dessert, too 😁 The food was well made, well presented, and just yum but it was the service that made us stay. On a night when they were utterly slammed, everyone was smiling, friendly, upbeat and efficient. Awesome!

Dined here twice, once with the family, our mains came out before the starters.. Staff was bringing it all together without asking if we wanted that.. Once we told them that we expected our starters first things went slightly down hill, our waitress didn't appear to be happy with us not wanting all the food at once. The mains in general were good but my chicken bacon burger was very dry. The second time we had the Friday special of fish and chips, it was an alright meal, nothing special about the meal.

Great environment, nice meals with good portions. Also had a outdoor playground for the tots. Dropped a star because we had to order from the counter. Would definitely come back :)

First experience, great service! Went back for dinner, server looked less than interested, this may have been cause he looked like the only one working. Scallops were terrible Japanese, the chef should really try peruvian, but the meats were cooked superbly

Loved this place - place was buzzing with a great atmosphere! Pink gin cocktails were superb ! We had the pork - pretty good but my husband raved about his lamb rump - best he’s had apparently ! Desserts were great . Very kid friendly - hardly saw our girls as they spent most of the time in the playground ! Super busy so be prepared to wait but it’s worth it .

Very impressed. A rainy day in Hanmer so we stopped in to Fire and Ice for some lunch. The staff are incredibly friendly, chatty and helpful. The food came out super fast and was fresh and hot, huge meals. The children said that their burgers were the best they have ever had. Great, price, great food, great atmosphere. This is our 3 visit and we will definitely be back again!!

We had a fantastic dinner here. The staff were lovely about both of our sons allergies. The meals were delicious. Our two boys shared the Farmers land platter and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great service and atmosphere.

Went to eat at about 7pm was shown a table almost immediately! noticed there was a lot of staff on so service was fast and efficient! Giving a three star because the food was average we had steak meals which were cooked nicely but just no flavour and the sauces were average tasting, If you’re wanting a quick bite I’d say it’s not bad but if your wanting a nice sit down meal that’s tasty I’d probably try somewhere else.

Great service and food. We used their kids area climbing frame to entertain our young daughter whilst the food was cooked. All of the staff were really pleasant and helpful, My wife had the Salmon with Salsa Verde which I tried and was delicious, I had the Giant burger which was a damn good burger, best I've had in a long time. Very Happy customers. Will return.

Last night, me and my friends went down to Fire and Joe for dinner. Overall, we had a good dining experience. The waiter was very friendly and our food came out quite quickly. The quality of the meal was quite good, and we left the restaurant very satisfied. Also, the sign looks like it says Fire and Ice.

Great food and great service. The place was toasty warm on what was a very cold evening outdoors and had a really cosy and welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely dine here again.

Absolutely the best lamb rump I have ever had. The service was exceptional by all 3 of our servers and the option to take our dessert back to our motel room was just the icing on the cake as our daughter was full after her burrito.

great pub food well priced and good service. I will rate any restaurant that does a good sticky date pudding , well . The T bone steak was cooked well and u would rate the peppercorn sauce as excellent.

beer tower and wings deal for $35...can't go wrong really. Yummy wings, fries ok would rather chunky than skinny but thats my personal opinion. My daughter enjoyed her veggie burger. Service was ok. Awesome outdoor space.

Good place, breakfast meal was great and it was nice warm and cosy inside away from the wet misty weather outside. Staff were excellent and very friendly, service A1. Enjoyable experience before we hit the road again.

The place is nice but we were disappointed with the food. Both my friend's risotto and my paella were super spicy to the point of burning our mouths. Maybe the chef was on a bad day, but this is the kind of food that is supposed to be mild.

A lady we bumped into in the street recommend this restaurant she was not wrong. Blue cod and chips very nice. The Lamb rump was absolutely perfect. Great flavours, presentation was excellent. Lovely friendly staff were enthusiastic and helpful.I recommend this restaurant, but don't just take my word, just try it for yourself.

Lovely service and food. We've been a few times as we are locals. Please pay attention to your gas bottles in the outside heating area. They're either running low or switching off which is poor for sitting outside in the cold.

Great atmosphere and service! The food my partner and I ordered were cooked perfectly despite a incredibly busy night, really happy with the price as well. Seating was a little tight though and felt a bit too close to other people trying to enjoy their night. Would definitely recommend and eat there any day.

Really disappointed. Have dined there before and been very happy. Husband and I went there for breakfast after spending a night in Hanmer. I ordered an omelette with ham, cheese and tomato. I was told by the waitress that the chef said he couldn't put chopped ham in it! Too difficult clearly.🙄 Omelette was only made with egg whites and the tomatoes were cherry tomatoes chopped in half...6 halves in total. Tasteless and boring. Despite being told that I can't eat food that requires chewing, I was brought 2 pieces of toast! Wouldn't hurry back there...certainly not for an omelette.

The atmosphere is lovely with a big gas fire to keep guests warm. The hosting team is friendly and efficient too. Here comes the BUT... avoid the soup served in the cob loaf. The loaf itself is dry and too sour. It wasn't hollowed out sufficiently because the cob held less than half a cup of soup. Other meals seems ok but I would recommend going somewhere else with a better review.

Lovely setting and awesome that it had a playground for the kids. Friendly service from the waitress who seated us. Not too busy tonight so food was served within 20-30 mins which was good. However, ordered the 250g rib eye rare for $38 expecting a great steak... I got a flattened cut of meat that was more like a scotch fillet than rib eye and at least 1/4 of it was fat and gristle. It was more medium than rare. Husband got fish and chips which was fine. Ordering steak is risky for anyone who knows just how they like it, if you’re one of those, maybe opt for something different at this restaurant.

Farst and friendly service from staff, but food was a bit lacking in flavour, now I'm no food expert but the other 3 guests that were with me felt the same way about their dishes too.... But over all we enjoyed our meals.

Brilliant place to dine out, wife and I went here lastnight for tea (15/6). Great place with a good vibrant feel and amazing food. I had FARM ON A PLATE and wife had blue cod and chips. Both were extreamly fresh and we walked out very satisfied. Farm on a plate is one big dish so ensure you are hungry OR feed two people. I happen to be very hungry so my plate was empty on exit, staff are amazing also. Must check it out if you are in Hanmer.

We went for lunch and there lunch menu was so good, the ribs and wedges were absolutely delicious with lots of sauce! The staff were very friendly and it's such a relaxing place for lunch. I loved it so much we are planning a day trip with the family to get lunch here. They have a playground so its the perfect place to dine with children.

Really great spot to eat and staff were superb. Fabulous food. Only downbuzz was the table smoking/vaping behind us and drifting across our space. Probably needs better monitoring. But would definitely go back.

I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I went with our 3 year old for dinnee. Amazing atmosphere. Staff were fantastic and went above and beyond, including offering to getting our sons meal out at the same time as our garlic bread so we could get him sorted. And if that wasn't enough every single meal was perfect.

Pretty average. Nice atmosphere. Food was very disappointing. One meal was overpriced pork chop in super cheesy mashed potatoes, other was over cooked salmon and potatoes. Took over half an hour for our food to come even though they're quick dishes, meanwhile tables all around us who'd arrives after us were receiving their meals... didnt match the price range. good mulled wine though.

Called in for lunch and was impressed with the seating and restaurant area. Extensive drinks menu and breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. 5 of us all ordered different meals and I’d say 2 out of the 5 were ok. The ribs and carbonara were excellent but the fried chicken and chicken burgers were very average. It’s fine for a quick bite to eat but wouldn’t go for a special occasion..

Breakfast was sooo good I recommend bacon eggs on toast if you like a simple meal or the pancakes with berry compote and white chocolate shavings👌🥰 loved the service too 💯

Went here for lunch during our short stay at lovely Hanmer Springs. Nicely styled bar with both indoor and outdoor seating, including a kids playground which our little ones really enjoyed. For our lunch, service was good and fast, but we found the food only okay. However a great drinks menu including some good local beers on tap.

Great atmosphere and layout. Super fast service on both the food and the drinks. The kids devoured their chicken and fish kids meals and my Lamb Shanks and my wife's Fish & Chips were delicious. Very happy with the whole experience.

Food was excellent went on in the school holidays so was extremely busy and had a 30min wait would of much preferred they told us when we rung to try make a booking which they did not were seated by a door which soooo cold only reason given it 4 stars

Sadly I didn't have a good visit this morning me and my father each ordered the big breakfast For $12.50 which was 2 sausages 2 strips of bacon an egg baked beans and a large piece of toast asked if we could swap the beans for an extra sausage & was told yes that's fine when the meal arrived there were no beans & no extra sausage & the toast was so dry it crumbled as we tried to eat it we didn't see our server till we had all finished our meals & were ready to leave when we told him we had not had our extra sausage he seemed uninterested & said " I can go ask the kitchen staff to cook two more" which we replied no thanks we are ready to go we were then charged full price for our breakfasts & left not a good experience I hope it's not the norm

We came on whim passing by, had young children so the playground was a bonus. Loved our experience food great, kids meals awesome (14.50 for drink ice cream and meal). We all left happy. Nice atmosphere and fire going

I'm shocked to see the number of 1 Star reviews for this restaurant! I came here one weekend evening with my wife and it wasn't particularly busy, so there was plenty of room for us to walk in. Being a tourist town most of the restaurants have semi-overpriced menus when compared to Christchurch, so be prepared! Fire and Ice wasn't particularly overpriced compared to other restaurants we've eaten at across the country, but it is still a little shocking for what you get, which is just above average meals. I wouldn't say the food was anything to complain about or celebrate over. All things considered we did not have a bad experience, the review only loses a star because of the quality of food vs price.

The restaurant has a very nice outdoor area. We ordered Garlic bread with our drinks to start with which came with a delicious sauce. For the main we shared a "Farm on a plate" dish which was basically all sorts of barbecued meats, all of them were pretty dry -although we had requested medium - and without any marination or event sauce. The prices were also very high which seems to be the case in all eateries in Hanmer Springs.

Loved this place, mussels had a fantastic dipping sauce with a lot of taste, 2 big bits of very fresh bread to dip it up, and all the family enjoyed their meals, we had a couple of different staff members attend us - all were great friendly and helpful, place had a great vibe also - highly recommend

Great layout and atmosphere with a kids playground for families to have a relaxing meal. The waiting staff were friendly, but tardy with us constantly having to ask for things, getting the wrong order and then incorrect bill.

Usually having lunch there when we head to Hanmer Spring's pool for the day. Good food, friendly staff and the place is clean. There is a small playground for little ones. Kids menu is great (drink and ice-cream included), but the adult lunch one lacks a bit of variety. Not too pricey for Hanmer.

Was nice setting. Got a bits and pieces basket. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Don't know why the plum sauce? Mushrooms tasted old... Chips were good and so was ice chocolate.

Couldn't fault the waitress, she was Awesome. Not enough shady areas as was extremely hot day and no spare unbrella's so was a little unpleasant for those of us that burn easy. Play area for children although great of no use on a hot day as not covered so all play gear to hot to sit on/play on, needs addressing. Few people in our group not happy with meals but mine was nice.

As a Hilton/IHG/Marriott hotel owner, this restaurant really impressed me and my husband for their authentic European food, especially the chicken and bacon pasta! I used to live in Italy for 2 years and wowww, the pasta in this Fire and Ice restaurant has truly touched me by their authentic flavor! Service was excellent and thoughtful to bring us garlic bread immediately once they saw us wet and came out of the Hanmer Springs across the street. Highly recommend the place!

Went up to Hanmer for a round of golf with the lads at work, so we had 3 meals at Fire and Ice... All 3 meals were just awesome, great service, great food that was enjoyed all round. The staff were very attentive and attractive, always smiling and enjoyed a little banter... A HUGE thanks to the all the wonderful staff at Fire and Ice Cafe...

Few months back had a great waitress experience by a chick named Story. Haven't seen her around since but she was extremely welcoming and made myself and my group feel at home. Thanks Story!

Expensive menu and drinks but there are bargains to be had. Bacon and eggs only $10 fish and chips and a beer on Friday only $20. Nice staff.

Had the Beef burger that said was with homemade patty,but couldnt get it Medium/Rare.. Bland taste and no seasoning,and to much bread for that small patty Took awhile to order so had to call a waiter over. Nice outdoor area.

Friendly staff, nice interior and cool outdoor area with views of the mountains. Outdoor area has a TV and outdoor heaters for the winter - although not overly effective heaters at all. Ordered ribs as a dinner main course except they brought out the Entree ribs instead. Staff not very interested when questioned.

Well done!!! I have a potato allergy and due to not many people knowing of such a thing I am usually shafted when I need to exchange potatoes on a dish for something else. Not here. Instead of offering an extra serve of salad like most they doubled my meat portion instead. Thank you so much. The ribs were delicous and the beer was cold. Kudos!!!

I stayed at Drifters Inn and this was right next door. Very friendly staff, nice tree lined street view and the most perfectly cooked medium rare rib eye with chips and salad I've had in a while. Go here. It's good. 👍😁

Really nice place to go. In a great area and really great staff. The food was ok however the bacon wasnt cooked long enough. Would rate the service highly. The atmosphere was really nice also. Would be nicer if the menu was a bit more clear.

The meal was fantastic, the person behind the bar was great but the lady that was serving our meal and taking our orders wasn't helpful and it all seemed a but of an inconvenience as soon as we walked in the door and talking behind our backs as we walked out the door bit of a shame as last time we were there on holiday we had a great time
