Cheese naan bread were the one you need to try. All the curry we ordered were delicious & I could taste authentic Indian spices. I especially liked kolhapuri chicken curry. The lady who served us was very polite & friendly. The atmosphere was OK, but the taste was great.

Best Indian Restaurant in Hastings! Went around 7pm on a Saturday evening. Staff was very friendly and management throughout start to finish was absolutely amazing. Going onto the food. The chef definitely knows what he’s doing. Great authentic Indian cuisine flavours for the curry’s. Lamb Curry & Butter Chicken was very tender and juicy! - Roti and Cheese Naan was cooked to perfection and rice was nice and fluffy followed up with a cold king fisher. Overall rating for Bollywood Stars Hastings - 10/10 Will definitely be back! Thanks team

Really awesome food, quick service. Was empty but probably because it was a Sunday and 5pm. Randomly it had a gaming lounge? But was clean, tidy and had a strong Indian theme. (Obviously)

Went in for our wedding anniversary. The meal itself was good value for money and delicious. Everything was lovely except we weren't offered any drinks, and unfortunately the children running around our table and another family table, were not asked not to. I know it's difficult to ask another patron to keep their children under control, but we also were paying patrons and deserved a meal without "out of control children" running around the restaurant. Actually put me off going back for that reason.

Had the best night out celebrating our daughters 18th. The staff looked after us so well and the food was delicious. They even gave our girl a complimentry bottle of wine! Cannot fault this great restaurant at all. Look forward to going back again for many more family celebrations & dinners. Very affordable. Thanks Team.

Totally fell in love with the delicious Butter chicken and Garlic cheese naans. Whether you have takeaway or Dine in Bollywood always delivers with Friendly service, Quick quality food and price. I love the display of furniture, colours and statues in the restaurant which complements your meal. Highly recommend.

I only eat butter chicken from here because I only like their butter chicken. There are two indian restaurants where I live but I go to Bollywood as once you've tried their butter chicken you wont want anywhere else. I cant comment about other meals. Cos I dont like any other type of indian food.

Ive eaten at almost all the Indian restaurants in the Hawkes bay, by the far best in hasting’s. Only gripe is that you tend to get more in takeaway than you do in dine in. Service is good and the staff aren’t overly attentive. (I actually dis like restaurants where they staff bother you to much) for me this place is about right.

Aptly decorated on the inside to make your Indian dining experience more authentic. The flavors are mild and tastebud-friendly. Perfect for a weekend eat out or for an after-movie meal!

The curries are absolutely delish. Place could do with an upgrade on services offered could be a great establishment with a few tweaks. Constant thoroughfare of people to the gaming room is distracting. I would definitely go back but for more social events and not romantic

Delivery last night was disappointing, really runny both butter chicken and prawn curry with very very little chicken and prawns more so the chicken. Rice and naan bread nice but probably won't be ordering again. Cost a lot for not a lot.

(Translated) I was here and ate the butter chicken, it was noticed that the chicken was in the tooth oven before it was put in the butter sauce, very good. The chairs in the restaurant are not the best, they are low and very bulky. However, it was weighed down by the rare woman who served and provided good service. The place is centrally located, so it's hard to miss. (Original) Jag var här och åt smörkycklingen, det märktes att kycklingen varit i tandoriugnen innan den blivit nerlagd i smörsåsen, väldigt bra. Stolarna i restaurangen är inte de bästa, de är låga och väldigt otympliga. Det vägdes dock upp av den rara kvinnan som serverade och gav bra service. Stället ligger centralt, så det är svårt att missa.
