A.A charming inner Hastings discovery. Lovely old converted ‘cottage’ with clean and tidy inside and, (sheltered) verandah outside, tables. Extensive, non pretentious menu with some interesting ‘finds’ such as beef cheeks … yum! Adequate wine selection by glass or bottle. Staff ‘smiley’ and professional … but perhaps a little TOO MANY (4) ‘everything ok?’ enquiries. Well priced …by today’s ‘expensive everything in NZ standard’.
