Outlet looks ok clean and tidy. Staff refused or in other words directed me to self order when I wanted to order at the counter. May be due to covid I guess. Drive through operates. McCafe is operating. Onsite parking available. If u r after a 24x7 operating junk food outlet, Mc is the only choice as far as I know.

Disappointed with Macca's atm. I asked for a chicken almighty with No Lettuce! The grill slip even says no lettuce!! And still they put it in. I also asked for a coke no ice! And they put ice in. I know everyone is under staffed due to covid but please read the grill slips!!

The Hastings restaurant is continuously busy especially the drive-thru which normally has 10+ in the order queue, despite the workload the staff manage to keep the limes moving in good time. Fulfilled orders very rarely contIn mistakes and the staff are patient and friendly

I must say that the staffing here is off the hook! Prompt efficient an friendly. There are lots of staff on and all are busy. Cleaning tables delivering food and wiping and cleaning surfaces. There's even a person to help with kiosk orders. I'm very very impressed. Lines are moving quickly and food is made promptly. Well done Hastings McDonald's!

Lovely at atmosphere and a very safe place for little ones. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of half eaten food left in the playground area. Both wraps we ordered weren't folded correctly making all of the contents spill out. Other than that, place was lovely and staff were very friendly. Will be visiting again!!! :)

This rating is only for one experience there. Doesn't help that it was so busy, no clean tables, 'different' set up and location of things, and the barista wasn't a good one, but someone else redid my drink and it was better. She also gave better service than the other two we had dealt with. Plenty off parking on the road, which was ideal for us. There is a car park, but we needed bigger space.

Very friendly staff in coffee and slice area of Mc Donald's. Plus bonus to be able to order from here main menu.. Seating excellent for casual conversation and catchup. Size of large cup is elephantine. If volume is your buzz then there is not bigger cup I have found anywhere!

Had a Grandma and Grandpa birthday treat breakfast with our two youngest grandkids recently. Nicely quiet early visit. Good breakfast for all, good coffee (!) and great fun in the play area. A previous visit about 2 months to a different McD's was not as tidy in the eating area.

The ordering machines helped us to order at our leisure. We chose to have the food delivered to our table and the staff were polite. They didn't have the hokey pokey flavour for the milk shake and so we chose chocolate. The guy who served us was polite. The kids play area is very nice too, but could mean crying kids when it is time to leave. Will visit again.

Always get coffee here from the cafe :) staff are usually pretty happy and I haven't had a terrible coffee in a long long time. Place is generally tidy inside. Evenings means there are plenty of tweens &teens loitering round the doors but staff often try to move them along quickly.

Went to Mccafe. No staff when I entered. Girl appeared after I wandered around for a minute or two. Eftpos was down, but handheld quickly available. Nice attendant replaced my ancient coffee cards, said I had a free coffee due, AND clicked my card a few times. More than made up for the few minutes wait. Toilets clean.

Friends meet here at Mc Cafe every week. I have only joined them twice.... I find it noisy and very ordinary, and a pretty boring option, when there are so many cafe's to try in Hastings. Personally, I like to be a little spontaneous and would prefer to try a different cafe each week 😊 it makes life much more interesting.

It was good to see the tables constantly wiped down after each customer use and the floors constantly being sweeped and moped, was there from 6:30 pm-8:00pm. Food was great as always but it was the good service that made the positive experience.

Place was quite cleaned, and was being cleaned when I went in. I went after dinner and bought a pack of fries and then a McFlurry. The fries were nice, not too much salt, as there normally is too much. But the McFlurry was lacking in sauce and had probably about 20 m'n'm's. Which was not worth the around $5 ispent on it. And I was left with a simple ice cream in a cup after too long. But for a McDonald's the burgers are generally pretty good. Just a regular old Macca's.

Just a normal visit to get food for drunks at 3 in the morning. 8 cars in front of me. Some dumb drivers not using second lane. Raining in car as you order. Probably making big orders with alterations to menus because my passengers were doing the same. Extra mayo, no gerkin etc. Chick taking orders sounded & then looked tired and over it. Chick handing out food was still obliging and pleasant. Wished us a good night. Sat in line thru whole process of 8cars in front of me for close to 25mins. On average 3-4 mins per car. Meals were hot & fresh. Not bad at that time of night/morning. 4/5
