Bloody lovey food. The food scene in Hawkes bay is getting better and better. Mary’s is bangin’ great atmosphere, tasty wine and some great cocktails. The food is simple and executed perfectly. Got to be the best broccoli of your life when it’s better than the fried chicken.

Relaxed but still refined experience. The food was really tasty the service was great! The arancini balls were my highlight dish of the evening, can't recommend enough!

A very nice and fine dinning restaurant. One time visit though. Unfortunately it was busy on this particular Monday (school holidays maybe). But attentive servers. Unfortunately for a single person could not do their banquet which seemed nice. So had prawns as an entree and although just six but very tasty. (24$) highly recommended. For main had their beef fillet which was tasty but their charring had a Strong effect. Although I liked it but wouldn’t try it again. (44$) Also had rocket salad (9$). This was ok For dessert had apple crumble cheese cake with vanilla ice cream. Which was also nice (14$). And a flatty. Overall 96$ without any drinks. So certainly an expensive; one of thing or special occasions.

A cool relaxed atmosphere, a limited menu, but enough choice and the three of us loved our meals, the fish was very highly rated. The staff were very friendly and well informed about the menu and the wine list. Definitely going back.

I had dinner at Mary's last night for the first time ... and it won't be the last. The meal was amazing and so was the service. The quality: both flavours and presentation; of the food was second to none, and for the first time, in a long time, I did not have to send my 'blue' steak back. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Really loved my first experience at Mary's, the whole team was extremely professional 👏 the food was to die for !!! Every bite was amazing!!! Well done team on the exceptional service and food, even catering to a vegan in our group with her own menu provided!!! Thank younso much, we will be back 😍

The best burger. Served with crunch little potatoes and broccoli salad which sounds a little strange but was really good. Served with craggy range wines.

Had dinner with friends. Table for 5 and I was added on the end of a table of 4, squashed between the table behind me. Ordered lamb shank and I asked if any veg came with it, waitress had to check with chef and I was told carrots (not much then). However when it arrived I had no carrots and maybe 10 peas. When I mentioned this to my server she brought them when I'd finished my meal! Kinda funny but they'd have been nicer with the main. Lamb was nice but left underwhelmed.

Fabulous atmosphere and food. My husband was a little unsure when we looked at the menu online but all fears were unfounded. We had the prawn cocktail dippers, crayfish macaroni balls, frybread doughnuts with paua, sirloin steak and the chocolate pot. Such a delicious meal and well worth the visit. We really enjoyed watching meals prepared whilst sitting at the bar and the staff was most friendly.

We had an excellent lunch at Mary's. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked - super crispy on the outside but also very tender and moist inside. The burger was phenomenal as was the duck confit toastie. Fantastic quality food.

Perfect for a burger and beer. Limited menu options and a little pricey.

Fabulous food and very accommodating staff

Amazing food and atmosphere, we had a beautiful meal and the kids had lovely chips and cheesy fettuccine. Super fast, excellent service, delicious taste, will 100% be going back!

A welcome addition to the Hawkes Bay dining scene, Mary's serves well cooked Bistro dishes based around local produce & their Josper grill., we had Te Kouma Bay Oysters served with lemon & mignonette, fresh pasta with peas & broad beans charred in the Josper, confit duck toasted brioche sandwich served with cauliflower soup and the steak frites all of which were served simply but executed precisely. The service team were welcoming, knowledgeable & efficient. Mary's is an excellent example of its type.

Absolutely Amazing place to dine... Very alive and trendy. Staffs : one of the Best, for the second day of operation they have showed the best service skills and professional customer approach. Super!!
