Hawera has a young lady on the counter who is polite, with a beautiful personality as you go up to the counter it's the second time myself and hubby have travel from eltham to hawera to buy our tea from KFC and she was the same girl whom served me and I couldn't believe the serve with a smile she gave to myself and other customers before I approached the counter. She is very fast and so accurate in her possession I'll would recommend this young lady a worker of the KFC company in Hawera. That wish to thank her so much by letting you know how proud I am to have been severed by this lady, I can't remember her as I did look a her badge but just can't remember her name, I think I started with a N or maybe a I not sure.

Lots of parking, but walking to the restaurant dodging cars entering and queuing in the drive-thru was not easy. Social distancing spots for queuing and waiting are marked on the floor. Menu is well displayed above the counter. Signs on the tables inform customers that the dine-in area is closed due to Covid restrictions. The staff member behind the counter was friendly and helpful, personable service to each as we stepped forward, not just a number.

Best service from a KFC I have ever had... Consistently each time I call in over the last 10+ years. Fast service (unusual for a KFC) and piping hot food. In, order, eat, out in 16minutes.

The food itself just the same as any other KFC. This branch usually runs out of cole slaw 2 days b4 new orders gets delivered. Service not too bad but can be better.

KFC Hawera is much like most things in Hawera, that is they are in Hawera. I went to this KFC and the person serving me had a smile, so straight away I was concerned. Turned out she was a nice human. Also turned out she got me a yummy burger. They also have parking (for your cars) but (and I wish I had known this) you dont need to bring your own chicken. They have it there!! and its mostly cooked too. Well done Mr KFC, well done

The staff member we had was down to earth, and politely listen to our order, and offered chilled water when we declined the fizzy part of packs. The order was handled quickly, and the dining area was clean and tidy. Overall 10 out of 10 from me.

Oh my God, how much slower can the frount counter work in this place, it's the third time in this place trying to get chicken where I've waited more than 15 minutes while watching cars flying through the drive threw. I'm sure they put one trainee on the counter with very little experience..........

Apparently they stop cooking chicken by 9:15 but stay open until 10, so if you come late good luck getting chicken, they were all sold out of chicken by 9:30 tonight

Hawera KFC is by far and wide the best KFC in New Zealand, i travel weekly from Wanganui just to dine in this fine establishment and sometimes to treat the middy
