J. W.A good old classic pub that has good honest food. The Sav is delicious 😋 I got the chicken kabab that that was recommended by the kind waiter. The smokey sauce that goes perfectly with the freshly cooked chips is delicious. Would definitely be back!
J. W.Nice cosy place, food very nice,Angus steak was yum! Polite young guy that served us, will be back. Came back tonight with friends i think new owners here, the food was very nice ,I had chicken bacon mushrooms fettuccine was the best plus would have been better if plate was 🔥 the pudding was apple rhubarb crumble ,love the way you did it in a cup. Thanks for a nice meal, will be back.

The prawns and the scallops were perfect. The steak was tender and medium, just as I asked for. The history of the place is great as well. I loved Billy T James in " Came a hot Friday" !

R. N.Delicious range of selections served by super-friendly staff. The fettuccini carbonara was very flavorful and the chicken kebabs perfectly tender. Servers and bar staff were very helpful in selecting the perfect meal combination and had good knowledge of the local craft brew selection. We got there too late to join the trivia night, but still enjoyed experiencing the fun local vibes. Will definitely return next time we’re in the area.

L. J.Don't be put off by it being basically a bar/ sports, nice mellow music, ok service but really good food. We had a rib eye steak sandwich that was huge and cooked to perfection topped with mushrooms and fried eggs. Fries and a lovely salad.

K.I have always enjoyed coming to Morriesons for our brunch during our town visit once a week but the last couple of times have been GREAT with obviously new owners and a lovely waiter the charm of the place has increased hugely. The food was cooked beautifully and the portions are generous which suits my dairyfarming husband to a tee.

J. M.Delicious food. Good value for money but the service was soooo slow! 45 minutes from ordering to receiving our meals. Buddys of the manager came in after us and recieved thier meals before us.

W. M.Morrisons is yet another icon in the little ole town of Hawera. The meals are delicious and varied, the decor is nice and the staff are very friendly. A nice place to take your partner to for a coffee or meal, or take all your work mates for a function. They also have a Tuesday night quiz that fills the place up.

G. N.I wouldn't recommend the food here, they are all too greasy. Terrible coffee, too much milk and the milk is over boiled. Good place to grab a pint though as the atmosphere isn't too bad.
