Thank you Huntly Mac donalds for the friendly greetings tonight, you were so helpful with helping me place my order onto the computer orderer thingy, i want to have it known that i was so impressed with how you guys are adhering to the red light traffic system procedures by actually scanning my vaccine pass as i have been to 2 restaurants in hamilton who did not scan my pass which i thought was a little odd. So this is to all customers a little wiery going to purchase instore that the staff there are doing everything they should be doing to protect the safety and wellbeing of everyone choosing to dine in. Thank you so much guys yous are 🏆 10/10 for me 👏👏👏

Often very busy as it is on the main road, though not for much longer. As a result there can be a bit of a wait, both for service and for food. The floor plan is unusual, which gives it a bit of a cramped feel. There is a drive through and a kids playground. Access is from a minor road parallel to the main road and it's not the easiest to find. The toilets are awful.

17May19 2011 Friday night. This McDonald's store was doing a lot of business. There was no room left in the carpark. And the store interior was packed with adults and kids standing, waiting for their food orders. The floors and benches, especially around the drinks machine, were wet and messy. The men's toilets were disgusting. It's a good thing that the self ordering kiosks were working because the cooking was fast and the service was crisp and courteous - and the is what really matters. Try the no-sugar Coke. It tastes surprisingly good! Overall this is a good store. Just needed more cleaning on a busy night.

A real push for customers to use the screens to order intead of counters. Drive through and seated areas available. Playground onsite for kids the enjoy. What you would expect in regards to food, however the machine asks you to select your drink flavour yet you have to walk up to the machine and fill your own drink

I was of the opinion that this McDonald's did not quite have the level of highest cleaning as international McDonald's is know for, having said that it was midafternoon (late in the day) and the only one girl that was serving was pleasant but very bussy I think she was in need of a helper that is why I only gave 4 stars

I enjoyed seeing that the playground is the same playground from 30years ago. Pls do not upgrade it and leave the playground as is. (Childhood Memories) Thank you to the staff whom cleaned up spilt hot chocolate, no just 1 but 2 accidents ,my 3 year old was very apologetic. My family Enjoyed the little time spent here, we appreciated it. The Warm cheeseburger was yuuummm Thanks team.

This makkas is pretty quiet now the state highway as been diverted so the service is quick as and food is good. Definitely truck parks pretty much outside the restaurant so that's a bonus.

It was our first visit here in ages and I'm pleased to say it was a good one. We went through the drive through and the girl on the first window was super friendly & patient lol, we had to change up an already large order. The food was good, but when we arrived the toilets were getting hammered by sheer number of people. So the facility was not up to standard. When that happens, the manager should allocate someone to take care of it, in my humble opinion.

They tend to forget your Meal most times and either leave something out. Frozen Mix any 2 machine is NEVER WORKING, THERE ICE CREAM MACHINE IS THE SAME AS THE MIX ANY 2.

Placed my order for 4x $1 hot chocs and asked if I could please have it served into 2 big coffee cups instead. As this is now my usual stop for my long distance drive every 2nd weeknd I drink the first one hot and save the 2nd one till its cold and use and a milkshake on my way. Chips were soggy. The entrance area was messy with soggy bits of paper. Ordered through the order machine. Table number says "your meal will be delivered to you" but they dont. They call out your number!

Very busy day at the restaurant and I can understand the premises can become untidy as the line up at the drive through was relentless. The place was untidy and the toilet in particular. Only stopped to use the toilet then on my way thinking to come back another day. It was not the McDonald's I had visited in the past. Vast room for improvement.

I am a regular caller in the morning for the best mocca I have had. But to day I really needed one unfortunately I went in stood for a good few minutes no one to serve me they looked so understaffed still no service so I left without my mocca .I have seen this once before a guy stood for some time ,no service so he yelled at lot then left .the staff there are normally really good. Management need to look at there roster system or hire more staff .it's the name that saves them not there management skills

Not too bad as a McDonald's but my order had tonnes and tonnes of salt in the chips and I am awear that McDonald's do put alot of salt on their chips but this had an excess of salt on them. In addition there was like a half amount of ice I asked for no ice but even if I didn't mind having Ice it would be too small of an amount as if they hit the middle ground of no ice and ice

Huntly McDonald's was absolutely packed, but the self ordering system and table service made up for that. Our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. Unfortunately the restaurant had a lot of rubbish and uncleared tables throughout. Also the self ordering units are right inside the entrance door, meaning you literally block the flow of customers when using the device. An easily avoidable oversight in my opinion as there is plenty of space elsewhere.

1 of the best McDonald's when comes to the food. But slow certainly not fast food and most of the time have to wait in park for 10 minutes at least and then you might have to go in to get your food because they forgot or under staffed and busy normally around 10am you would think they would get more staff on at that time but know same problem most!!! Regrettably not our best visit to McDonald's Huntly. Normally very happy, but this time we were charged for 1 of our Senior coffees & then, even though we had specified eat in, our meal was put in a "takeaway" bag & plonked on counter with disinterest & no cup for drink paid for as part of meal. Then we decided to get 2 apple pies. Unfortunately, the ones we were given, at 1715 (5-15pm), listed a discard time of 1549 (3-49pm). They were replaced following complaint, but damage was done.

We didn't go inside just used the drive through. We felt it was not overly busy and we had to park and wait a few minutes for coffee to arrive. Food and drink quality is a normal for any McDonald's.

I like the customer service and quality of food cooked ,nice store but yes I do agree with some other reviews ,the cleaning does let them down more than sometimes which is not good with food.I had been in the toilet and the floor was deadly slippery with no wet floor sign. Too much soap not enough elbow grease. Slippery than ice on those tiles ,just don't hit your head on sink on way down. Overall good store mainly clean and definitely good food and service. The playground could be upgraded, the prices seem to get upgraded but things like that and the toys had in happymeals over the years have been downgraded. Sad sad sad. We need Ronald back for smiles and something like the older playground amusement . I know its not a big area in Huntly it has shrunk about 3 times since its opening ,but ive even been to alot of others that could utilize their space alot better and with more room and the playgrounds are pretty lame. ok but lame, weas Ronald man. Primo workers can't wait for my next Big Mac.

Delicious. The drive through in Huntly is good. However, it can get very busy and long lined cars out to the road. A very good car park is on the Z side of Mc Ds by the car wash. Easy and close parking.

We stopped in here for lunch on our way to Auckland, I had the Fillet-o-Fish combo and mum had the famous Big Mac combo, we were greeted by friendly staff and the service was lovely.

The staff are very friendly, the Mac burgers are not satisfying unless you have more than1, like a Mac attack combo may just reach the thresh hold limit for an adult. Other wise . . . you make your own mind up.

Considering how crazy busy the place was, the double 1/4 pounder, 1/2 pounder? Is it still a 1/4 pounder? Was hot and so were the chips and service was quick,... Maybe not at the drive thru though, that was backed up into the street out the back, which is the best way to get into the place.

I only had a coffee and a snack from the McCafe, so I can't comment on burgers and such. The staff seemed happy but a bit interested in their own conversation. My coffee and snack were OK, no complaints as such. I feltthe store was a but grubby, but I felt tired from a very long drive and was more focused on my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes. The clientele seemed a bit shady, but Maccers have no control over that. The car park didn't feel safe and I was glad to get in my car quickly and get on my way. Although the main road signage is clear, getting to the car park in the dark wasn't as clear as it could've been, especially when one is feeling tired after a long drive. I suspect having to contend with rain would make finding one's way to the car park even more challenging. Maccers Huntly has the potential to be a great store, especially since it's a popular spot for people to stop, rest and grab some food.

I was there five years ago and yesterday...They have changed the seats acomodation to not have a power outlet close to you. It is a McDonald's in the middle of a motorway... of course people need to charge their devices meanwhile they eat.
