M.We came in as a large group for dinner, and it was a good evening. Only negatives were: a bit of a wait (though I love the fact that they mention this happens with certain dishes on the menu), and maybe a little flavour lacking. Plusses were: the nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable prices, and fairly generous portion sizes. Overall, a very good experience, and there's plenty on the menu to tempt us back. Would give it 4.5 stars if it were an option.
B.Food was awesome and staff were polite, friendly and looked after us well even with the lunch time rush picking up. Would happily go back or send friends there.

O.A great cafe in Invercargill right next to the market on a Saturday. We were spending the weekend in Invercargill from Dunedin and we popped into Cafe 34.
Aside from the fact the food was great and the coffee very good. The service was top quality. We travelled with a small baby and they were immediately accommodated. A large table for us and the pram. Quick table and food service. But to top it all off our waitress, Lana, held our wee one while we ate our lunch for a few minutes. Which meant both Mum and Dad got a hot meal.
Thanks so much well worth a visit even without a little one.
D.Cafe 34 is hands down the local that i love to support. From their staff to general atmosphere, it is welcoming. The menu is absolutely amazing, great prices for quality dishes and coffee worth going back for.
D.Wow, had lunch. The service was awesome. Well priced. We had the leek and spud soup, I had the chicken and apricot filo... spectacular. The coffee was outstanding. I rarely review food places and I'm a fussy eater, but I couldn't fault anything. A definite must eat.

J.Had a really yummy chicken and bacon salad there last weekend It was presented really nicely too. Quite a generous portion ,so was able to take some home for my tea the next night. Certainly recommend it.

R.We had lunch here after our surf to the city 6km run. My husband had a steak burger and I had a lamb salad. My husband is a celiac and the waitress and the chef were really helpful in helping him decide and advised us what products they use 🙌🏻. Overall great service and food 🤩

I had the chicken & bacon salad with Louisiana dressing. Yummy and the portions are huge. My companion had battered Blue Cod, he ordered the small, but very generous servings. Crispy batter and perfectly cooked fish. We shared an Eton Mess and finished with coffee.
We thoroughly recommend Cafe 34 and look forward to dining there again.
d.We took our granddaughter here for lunch and they got her a coloring in book . We ordered our meals and my sister ordered a mousetrap. We had eaten and still no mousetrap we asked for it twice. We ended up canceling it on the way out. Very disappointed. The other meals were nice but my sister had none.
M.Lovely food and good service. The only thing I didn't like personally, was that there were too many chips on my plate and not enough salad - although it was all yummy.
S.We arrived on New Years Eve for dinner and had a great experience on all accounts. The staff were genuinely welcoming and warming and the food was beautiful and cooked delicately. Thank you, we will be back more often.
N.My daughter had lovely meal here last night ,filo parcels delicious and chicken salad looked good too. Only thing to spoil it was the Eaton mess dessert's berry couli was too sweet ,no berry flavour. The meringue was light and sticky and crunchie, just the way I love it. Shall come again one day soon.
N.Nice breakfast. Good service. They have four different menus for different times of the day so u don't miss out just because it is after smoko but not quite tea time.
B.Food was excellent also the service, however it was very cold inside and the air curtain above the door wasn't working so every time someone came or went we froze again. Will definitely eat there again just in warmer weathet

T.Went for parakuihi and there was no obvious vegan options in the menu. The lovely staff enquired if there were something that could be done and I ended up having a great vegan breakfast. I really appreciate the woman who was so patient and accommodating to me
L.I'm not a seafood person but went and had the bluecod I had pan fried and my partner had battered blue cod it was the best meal I have had and the garlic bread was just right not too much garlic but the bread was so soft I would recommend coming back very friendly stuff and compliment to the chef well done

K.Went there today for lunch and i had the chicken filo of the day, chicken and cranberry. Was the best chicken filo I've ever had. The only thing that disappointed me was when i had eaten it all! The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the creamy sauce the chicken was cooked in was AMAZING. Think il order that meal everytime i eat there now! Delicious!

J.Expect very long wait for food. Been there twice. The first we waited for about 45-50 minutes for breakfast to come. The second time was 30 minutes. Each time I had to come up to the counter to ask whether our food was on the way. The second time, when we had our breakfast. It was kinda cold in part of the food.
