N.Popped in for lunch 3rd Jan 2022
Ordered ribeye steak medium with prawns, twice cooked wedges, salad and garlic sauce. Cooked perfectly, very tasty meal and a good size.
My wife ordered for the price the best blue cod and chips with salad available in southland.
And the coffee was great as well
A.Great restaurant/Cafe that has recently upgraded their way of doing business due to regulation changes with covid. The service seems better and more organised. My husband and I really enjoyed our lunch date here recently. Food was great! Service was great!
R.Place was OK, but didn't really gel with me. I was fortunate to obtain a soft seat which seem to be in short supply. Better coffee elsewhere in town. Upon entering, I spied a soft seat becoming vacant and had to make a dash for it, leaving my wife to select food for my non - sweet stomach. There wasn't much that wasn't greasy. More desserts as finger foods than anything else. I'm in no hurry to go back.
S.We popped in to try some Southland favorites and were not disappointed! Delicious cheese rolls, custard square, cinnamon oysters, and more! Also very accessible from the top of the H&J's parking building for disability access 👍
C.Greeted asked for vaccine pass, but was not scanned. Food was A+, served from staff out of the cabinet. People well spaced out for safety.
N.Great food and selection, interesting more or less the whole staff has managed to get mask exception?
M.Travel 1/2 way across the world for their Chicken Rolls! Good solid Kiwi café with all the basics.
