Egg and chips are very salty, sweet and sour is over powered by vinegar.
Next time I'm in Kaikohe, I'll be trying somewhere else.

Situated within easy walking distance of ample roadside vehicle parking. Tables and seating inside and outside makes for year round onsite dining as alternative to take out or take home.
Extensive noodles and 'Chinese menu' in addition to good fish and chip menu and burger menu. Awesome fresh vegetables - even in their own-made spring roles. Fresh fish decent-sized lightly coated in batter. Wontons excellently prepared, cooked and presented.
Friendly, pleasant and cordial front team members. Four chefs rotate throughout the week to ensure premium food leaves clients happy and satisfied.
Rustic (dated) gaming machine inside and out. Premises could do with a fresh refinishing.

F. T.The food served as a dine-in is delicious as far as Chinese food goes. They also offer European dishes as well as fish n chips, burgers etc. I totally recommend the fish n chips, the fish being hoki. This fish is not always I like, but the cook had cooked it beautifully.
Of course the standard Chinese dishes are available, even pork dumplings which are steamed and a different taste.
Waiting time is not very long, eat in or takeaways. Lovely service from the lovely ladies and and a very pleasant place to be in.
Situated at the lower end if town in Kaikohe with good parking right outside depending in time of day if course.
Recommend as a good family eatery.
