I went to KFC Kaitaia with a group of friends on 5 February. We noticed immediately their lovely customer service and how clean the place was. While having our late lunch, our group observed and remarked how hardworking the lady working there was, attending to customers and doing many other tasks when there were no customers to be served. She basically never stopped working for a moment. I was quite absentminded and forgot my bag in the restaurant. By the time I noticed it and phoned KFC, the bag was already stored safely in the restaurant's safe. Overall really impressed with KFC Kaitaia and in particular the lady who served us.

Was a long queue but worth it. Great taste. Lovely smile from the server. I always forget to say no spoons though. Most KFC eaten at home so spoons wasted. Perhaps ask when taking orders?

Staff getting absolutely overrun with customers, but still performing admirably. Spent over 40 minutes in drive through which was not the greatest 😢 but given conditions, expected. A few more staff on might have alleviated the issue.

The wait was long for food on drive thru, but was worth the wait, cause the one serving us was a delight. Was served from a girl with tattoos, who made the wait pleasant. She even cracked a few jokes with us, which was awesome to see and hear. She updated us every so often on the wait and made our first time at that store enjoyable. Thanks young one. Was a great experience. Definitely love the humour.

When I came here it was New Years Eve. I think I should of gone drive thru. For the queue nearly out the door they only had one person serving front counter and doing packing of food. It took too long 40 min

Incorrect order was given to us. We paid for 2 x 3 piece quarter packs. When we got to our accommodation, we saw we were only given 2 x 2 piece quarter packs. As we were tired and hungry, we didn't drive all the way back for the missing pieces. Update: We ended up having KFC from the same place a week later. We mentioned to the staff member who served us the week before of the incorrect order. She was wonderful and gave us the missing pieces for our dinner last night. Nga mihi nui KFC Kaitaia

I’m a few days behind, but The food was great. The staff, everything. I never really see the young girl in the back with tattoos, but I honestly feel sorry for her. She seems to be doing more work then anybody there. You can clearly see she’s under pressure to push those orders out, as u can hear from the staff members. I was watching her while in line at the front counter. She even came to the front to help straight after she got all her orders out and with a smile too, not like others. Should be honoured to have a worker like her, I definitely will.

Had to wait in line for over 5 min then had to wait another 15 min for my surf safe bucket as they ran out of chicken. Lady serving did a really great job trying to keep every one happy but was on her own When I got my meal home over an hour and a half away only had 8 pieces instead of 10 very unhappy

Disappointing grandchild was given a chicken burger instead of a vegetarian burger. When she went up to request her proper order she waited fifteen to twenty minutes the front person saw her but went on to serve the next 3 orders . If it wasn't for the drive through lady she would not have got her burger when she did .meanwhile her chips had gone cold if we had of waited for her ours would have been cold too.

It's ok, but I have seen better, staff in general grumpy and this is the only KFC that doesn't have a crusher machine. I travel alot and you can get crushers at all of them except Kaitaia. I have asked them about it and the staff said that the owner doesn't want it.

While the food is of the standard KFC quality that you've come to expect, the same cannot be said about the service. The wait times are usually very long during peak hours and the drive through is also usually slow. When you go through the drive through you hope and pray to God that the car in front of you doesn't have a big order. Since this is the only KFC joint anywhere near you've just gotta deal with it and wait.

Honestly, the chicken is way greasier and gravy isnt how it's meant to be made. It doesnt taste like the original kfc chicken that I enjoyed back on US soil. But they are neat and tidy and there is a lsrge screen tv that usually plays music videos and there is air conditioning inside too :)
