A.Great Indian Restaurant at such a convenient place from the motorway. Lamb balti is a hidden gem here. Do try. Great customer service as well.
K.Unexpected touch of class & huge portions - the starter filled me up and I still had the main to go! The sauces were lusciously thick and not watery like elsewhere. We always stop here for dinner on our way north now!

S.We stopped off here on our way up north not expecting much. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was quick to arrive and exceeded our expectations. Having travelled through India and eating and cooking Indian food weekly the spice lounge far exceeded my expectations for a small town side of the road restaurant. Will visit again. We had the onion bhaji, chicken piaza do and saag paneer with garlic Naan.

D.The food is usually nice but the spice level is a bit hit or miss, if you order a medium you'll sometimes get a mild. Very friendly service though and always a favourite when we come up to visit.
z.Absolutely mind boggled at the negative reviews. The indian food is here is second to none. Any serious fan of indian food will definately appreciate the quality of the currys served here. The chicken always has a beautifull char and is always juicy. The depth and balance of flavour in there currys is absolute perfection i have been to many indian restaurants in nz and am so thankfull to have the best Ive ever had on my back doorstep
S.I stopped at this place for lunch at the beginning of my Northland trip. I had Pepper Chicken with some Butter Naan. Pepper chicken was really yummy! The wait staff was gentle and well mannered man with some good customer service skills. The ambience was okay, they have a good seating arrangement outside at their entrance. Would highly recommend this place. Cheers
a.This is the best Indian food I have ever had.Luckily I live in Kaiwaka and can enjoy on a regular basis.I recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting Authentic Indian Food and the owner is very welcoming.

P.The food is good but ordering can be hit and miss. They have an ansaphone to take orders, but don't always check their messages. It's annoying when you turn up and the food has not been made. Whole point of ringing in advance is so that it will be ready when you get there, specially when you are just passing through.
M.Had a chicken biriyani from here, great tasting however the rice was a bit soggy. Will still come back especially for the samosas we had! They were great accompanied by the dipping sauces

c.Really friendly staff. We reached here at 2pm, the time they close after lunch. But they offered to give us food as takeaway and let us have it there itself. Gave us paper plates, spoons, water, glass and everything we needed. And the food was also great!
