G.We absolutely love this place, as good a pizza as you’ll get anywhere, crust perfectly crispy / chewy in all the right ways and simple, delicious toppings. Also had the penne alla arrabiata and it was great, perfect amount of kick! And yes we did do Eddie Izard Death Star canteen impressions as we ate that 😂 Hawaiian, calabrese and Roma (?) pizzas in pics 🍕

M.I enjoyed the pizza but did not like the pasta we ordered. The crust on the pizza is really good compared to other places we've been to. There are not enough chicken options and the only chicken pizza does not have any sauce. I'll try one of the vege pizzas one day and maybe update the rating.

D.The best pizza I have ever had in NZ. I had the Queen Margharita and it delicious and authentic, just like pizza in Italy. The Buffalo mozzarella, yummy, sauce, full of flavor, pizza base crispy and cooked to perfection. This is definitely going to become our go to for pizza from now on. Can't wait to try the pastas next.
M.Wish we had found this place sooner! Have just had a pizza and lasagne for dinner and Wholey hecka it was out the gate! The produce they use is high quality and the lasagne was smothered in the most delish fresh tomato sauce (don’t think sauce is the Italian name for it soz). Spend a few extra $$ and actually enjoy your meal, will definitely be going back for the other menu items!
J.What can I say. They are awesome. Their pizzas are delicious and hot when you get them (it's your fault if they are cold by the time you get home heated seats on in the car and a blanket baby!). You can taste the authentic Italian in every bite the fresh herbs wow! eating their Pizza is an experience.
B.OMG the yummiest pasta I have had since I have come back from holiday in Italy! I am a lover of italian food and am shocked I did not know about this place!
We got the Fettuccine bolognase and the Penne spicy, oh my word this is heavenly!
VERY generous portion size and my 1 year old loved it as well! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, very family vibe!
We will 100% be coming back here and I 200% recommmend this place! So glad I found this place! Perfection!
S.Best pizza I’ve had in a long time - and former New Yorker here! The Veggie pizza was perfect. The service was impeccable. Owner started Al Volo in Mt eden which says a lot. I think they’ve outdone themselves this time.
