Golden Silk Thai is a special place where very good food can be found. I am not unfamiliar with Golden Silk as the family have been getting take aways there for years. They provide a very authentic menu and is well worth spending time in the restaurant too as some of the best dishes are only served in the restaurant. Highly recommended

Been coming here for over 20 years and its as good if not better than its ever been. Extensive menu, reasonable prices and lovely staff. An institution in the Nor-west and easily the best Thai food this side of the bridge.

Some of the best Thai food I have ever had!!! Simply amazing. Super kind and friendly staff and both the presentation and quality of the food were superb. Everything is clearly made with a lot of love. Great lunch special as well. Highly recommended.

I truly believe you can tell a restaurant is good by how customer friendly their staff are. Of course the food is delicious here but I was blown away by how amazing the staff was on a quiet Christmas Eve night. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted in Thai and promptly seated. They notice when your glass is empty and fill it up without you having to ask. I was clumsy enough to knock a glass over and shatter it everywhere. (I was choking on water because a friend made me laugh too hard. I even made the table behind us leave. To be fair we were being rather rowdy and I guess they had enough lol. Apologies.) But again, they noticed immediately, promptly re-seated us and sweeped everything up. And to top it off, they gave us a little parting gift! People of Auckland, you need to come here just for the staff! They humour you, they notice you and they are so so welcoming. And they give you presents! This is a bf material restaurant #justsaying 💯💯. Also I'm so sorry for shattering your glass!!

Slow food delivery and messed up the order. Get them to precisely repeat your order before they politely rush away! Not the best for small kids as the wait can get them up to mischief. Fabulous food though, clean and delightful staff.

Great Thai, we often get takeaways but when we dine in the staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate my dietary requirements without any hesitation. Had a few group dinners here and the service is always quick and great. If you have not tried Golden Silk yet it is worth a try

Had takeaways from here a couple of months ago and wasn't impressed, but the other place we wanted to go to this time was closed so went here instead. 2x toddlers and 6 adults - all impressed with our meals!! Great food and full of flavour. Would definitely recommend dining in here

Fantastic Thai! I haven't gone past the green curry but I absolutely love it. I'm not vegetarian but always choose it because their vegetables are so fresh and yum!!

A nice Thai restaurant not to far out of the way from Auckland proper. The food was as good as some of the restaurants in visited recently in Thailand itself, the staff were friendly helpful and knowledgeable on their cuisine. Great meal and time "Aroi!"

Good values lunch menus.. Ample parking in front... But the quality varies as on some days the serving is right and on other days there were bearly any noodles and meat in the soup bowl. Seniro citizens get free tea or coffee during lunch time.
