H.Delicious!! I’ve ordered many curries from here over the last few years. I love that they have such a variety of dishes I haven’t seen anywhere else. Tried another new one tonight and it was fantastic. Chettinad is still my fav though.

F.Nice food, a bit pricey though, and it's a bit rich they charge $1 for a paper takeaway bag by default which you don't have the option to not pay for. I've got plenty of bags I can bring
in myself to collect the order from them.

K.My husband and I have been regulars at this restaurant for some time. The surroundings were nice and the food OK. Staff could be a bit offish. However today we arrived not long after 5pm. It was empty save for one table but we were told there was no room. Even had they had bookings for later, we wold have been out within an hour. We found another restaurant, nearer to home, much better food, friendly staff. Goodbye Sangam. 0/10 customer service!

S.My absolute favourite Indian restaurant - I go there so much they know me by name! All of their dishes are so flavourful with such good quality chicken and lamb. Try it out if you haven’t already - you won’t be disappointed.
K.We have been ordering from Sangam for over four years and I have to say it is arguably the best Indian food in Norwest Auckland, if not Auckland itself. I am so sad that we are moving out of the area as I am going to miss this delicious food!
J.I feel horrible that I haven't tried this place sooner. It's amazing. Hands down this is the best curry place in town. Yes their mains are a little more than the other two joints but you get WAY more meat in your serving and an individual portion with a nan bread will easily do dinner and lunch the next day. Alternatively they can be shared between two people. If you haven't been here I would encourage you to try it out. Combination of Amazing flavour, spice (if that's your thing) and value for money makes it a winner.
V.Hands down one of the best places for delicious Indian style food. We had the Goan fish curry and Rogan Josh. They looked amazing and flavours were rich and complex. The portion size was generous and I felt like I got good value for my money.
A.Absolutely one of the best places I have found in West/NorthWest Auckland. The curries are absolutely tasty, plentiful with meat, naans cooked to perfection. Finally no more searching, I've found my happy place!
J.Ambiance is good, with spacious seating arrangements and lights. Clean, neat and tidy. For Food, quality is good, event though its customized for Kiwi taste buds, its authentic enough to enjoy the spices. Big portion sizes allow sharing. Probably one of the best in Kumeu area.

Really friendly service only small downside is it’s little more pricy than others but happy to pay if it keeps this standard up.
G.The BEST INDIAN restaurant in the community. I've been to Tandoori and Curryleaf, but Sangam just topped it off. They're food, their service, the whole experience you get from the first minute you walk into Sangam to the very last minute before you take your leave. The staff are amazing. The music they play in the background is so calm and beautiful. And the food is just amazing. If you want something hot or spicy, or something that tastes so gooooood, I highly recommend this place. 20 out of 10. They really top the food. (Btw, dont order Butter Chicken all the time. Try their Saagwala, Madras, Tikka Masala, and Chettinard. You'll love it. I promise you 100%)

Have eaten here three times and all dishes have been really nice and some quite unique as well. Nice friendly staff as well, am very happy to have this as a local.
A.What a lovely experience my dudes. We were shown to our table by a super smooth gentleman who became our server for the night. What an absolute top bloke. Give that man a raise.
The food was super dooper, rich and delicious. Old faithful butter chicken was a little too creamy for this palate, but my lovely wife polished it off and wiped the bowl clean with her naan. What a great lass. Clearly she enjoyed the butter chicken.
The lamb saag was pretty dope, but in my dictionary “spinach” and “spicy” are a little further away.
Today’s wildcard was beef vindaloo. Mmm! My oh my this was a pleasure to my tastebuds. I wished it were slightly hotter, but otherwise it hit the spot directly in the centre.
If you’re choosing an Indian place to eat tonight, look no further. Tell them I sent you.

V.For many years I have been an aficionado of Indian cuisine and as well as visiting many Indian restaurants, have developed my Indian cooking skills to a level where it is not unusual, sadly, to find that mine are equal to or better than the restaurant.
I have visited all three of the Indian Restaurant we have in Kumeu, one once but never again, the other regularly and last night, Sangam for the first time. I had been a regular attender when they first opened in Kumeu occupying the old Fergusson's Trading Shed, (now The Fireplace) but as the attention, space and time available there for the Indian Cuisine was reduced, relocated and finally overpowered, I ceased attending. Accordingly, when "She who must be obeyed" insisted on attending Sangam for a wedding anniversary, I was reluctant and attended with apprehensions.
The venue was superior and catering for 50, is not a large "cavern like" experience. The food level I clearly admit to never being able to attain and the friendliness and attentions from the staff, very good. The menu is extensive , but not overpowering and children and vegetarians are catered for. In our case, two bottles of BYO wine, two entrées, two mains ,two types of bread and a raita graced our table for less than $80.

C.If I can be totally honest! That was f$&king define! 🤌🏽👌🏽 No other way I can put it if needing a honest opinion. I got takeaway so don’t know how the service is dining in but takeaway only took like 10-15 mins. The butter chicken dish was sooo good. I also got another chicken dish starting with Jh 🤔 sorry can’t remember tasted like chilli chicken which was what I wanted but it was called something else at the restaurant and that was beautiful too. Highly recommend. Nice job guys.
