One of the best restaurant .. Believe me , I have been to many Indian restaurants in Auckland, this place is just damn amazing.. perfect location, pleasant ambiance, quick service, friendly staff and food OMG,it was just soooooo good and authentic.. my perfect birthday dinner… Will visit again for sure….Must try💕

When you go to a restaurant first thing you would like to see is smiling faces, that's what we go a smiling face of the owner with a warm welcome. I have lived away from India for almost 6 years. Never ever I had a butter Chicken tasted so good(no color at all used). What else I can all. Just one. Please do vist the once. Thanks for you hospitality.

Legitimately the best restaurant around. Doesn’t matter what I get I end up liking it. My partner and I have been getting takeaways from Tandoori bar and eatery. They make the best tandoori chicken and probably the best naan breads I’ve had.

Great curries and best venue for Indian in Kumeu imo. And if you like it proper spicy they do a level above Indian hot called Reaper Hot - if you're brave - it's super spicy!

The food here is amazing! We travel from the north shore specifically for their chicken tikka and lamb saag. Wonderful staff and the owners are like family.

The food was amazing. The prawns was great. Would have to be the around the area. Portion is amazing. Think the chicken is smoked can really taste it. The sauce for butter chicken is not too sweet and really creamy. Could do a bit hotter for the Indian hot but was enjoyable. The Naan was one of the best I've had. So think and crispy covered with garlic. Very friendly staff. Came and checked if we were enjoying our food. Sad they don't have more people. Very clean the bath room was amazing.

Amazing, amazing food. My partner and I came in for dinner on a quiet Wednesday night and had some of the best Indian food we have ever had! The spice was perfect, we asked for medium for both curries and it couldn’t of been more spot on! the lamb in our Bhuna was so tender, and our Butter Chicken was stand out and different to the rest out there that’s for sure! Also accompanied by a entree including some super tasty Samosa. And a bottle of lovely red that we were able to BYO. And not to mention the exciting and fun Bollywood sounds that carried us through the experience. A beautiful place, great food, and an owner with a warm smile. We will be back to see you again. Thank you for having us :)

This our first visit back for sit down meal since Covid Lockdowns. We were not disappointed, great food and service. Lamb Biryani was spectacular ! A must visit for a great meal or takeaway

We usually go to Sangam in Kumeu but thought we would try this one because of the good reviews. First impression from the tawdry exterior coloured lights not great but interior nice enough, although the culturally apposite music was a bit loud. Food was mixed - the pakora entree was inedibly dry and although the chef was apparantely being told it was left on the bill. The curry was nice enough, the chicken tandoori was "ok"and the service pleasant and attentive, perhaps too much so of the latter. Was good to see them quite busy as they seem like nice hard working people in a tough game. But IMO its probably only the 2nd best Indian restaurant in Kumeu.

So yummy! I got a good ol’ Medium Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan delivered. Absolutely delicious! Perfect heat level, and tasted amazing. I’ve had a lot of butter chickens from various places - and this is by far the best one I’ve had. Delivery driver was also super friendly and lovely. Great experience all round.

This is our local Indian restaurant and we love it. Tonight we had some butter chicken that was not great, it wasn’t like their usual good food, I rang up to say we weren’t very happy with it and they replaced it, no issues and the replacement food was really good. Thanks again for the good service.
