A definite must try, slow roasted meals. Huge feed for little price. Everything was amazing. Gravy was top notch and the pork crackling crisp. This was perfect for the rainy & cold weather we experienced.

Great roast place to go and eat in or takeaway. Fantastic customer service. and a great range of desserts I rate them 10 🌟 stars crackling from the pork is yummy and if you don't like meat it is still good for vegetarian people don't knock it till you try it. Very happy customers will go back there again fantastic awesome A1 Roast :) great value for 💰 money and a good way to go if you don't feel like cooking.

Awesome place. You get big portions, absolutely delish and fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming too. And if you're on a low carb diet you can ask for no tatties like I did. Still get a plate full. I will be back again and again. (Tried it 4 times already, different meats) lol

Much better than Rutherford Roast in Queensgate which has gone down hill dramatically since a change of ownership. The meals are larger also. I can recommend A1 Roast.

Fantastic value with this delicious roast house. One pork roast meal and veges fed two of us quite easily. The gravy is amazing and roast veges are done well. Staff are friendly and certainly know their stuff about what a good roast is.

One of my favourite local eateries. Recommend pork roast with apple sauce & gravy or fried chicken roll with salad & gravy. Eat here too much and I get sick of it but great for those times when you don't want to put a roast on yourself. Their potatoes are exquisite but I'm not convinced they're that healthy.
