Definitely liked the goods from here. Fresh fish and easy in the batter. Chips were great as well! I’d rate it above Marina by a bit, not a lot, just a bit 👍🏽👍🏽

Always get the crumbed fish which is crispy. Also ordered the mussel fritter which was a thousand times better than the greasy one I had in Taupo. Really enjoyed it as a rare one-off.

Amazing!! Good tacker! Friendly staff and yummy fish burgers. It was the first experience for me that the actual dish is much better than photos. I took a fish burger, hushed potato and coke set (No.08). Look! So huge! Regrettably I could not eat all. So asked a staff to give me a container to bring back my burger. She gave me a container and a paper bag. Wonderful service! Many customers were waiting inside of the shop to take away. You probably have to wait in a queue. But it is a definite value to wait some min.!

Had The $5 Lunch Pack and a Curry Roll. Fish was a good size, but average quality at best, potato fritters were slightly undercooked, the crab stick was pretty good, and so was the curry roll, but there were less than 20 chips! Customer service was excellent, and I guess I can't complain about the overall value for money. In future I'll continue to go to Marina Fisheries down the road.

Just tried their pork dumplings, they were amazing! Definitely will buy these again! Very welcoming, nice people! The dumplings were fresh and had the perfect filling/dough ratio! Definitely would recommend!

Really good orange beef, even after the drive home it's still crispy. Chop suey was good, nicely done and not overcooked. Don't like that they serve sweet chili with the wontons instead of sweet & sour - but the kids like them anywyay!

My go to Fish n Chip shop. I always get a crumbed fish which are HUGE and sometimes they even give you extra little ones! They also do a yum crumbed chicken fillet which is also massive (same one they use in their chicken burgers which my husband loves) and you cannot go wrong with a Lasagne square. Chips are decent but not the best I have had.

Very extensive menu with a good choice of burgers and meals as well as fish. Cold drinks fridge to choose from too. Plenty of tables to eat your meal at or a bench seat to wait for takeaways. The meal was served quickly and hot.

I have frequented this place since 2009. I love thier fish burgers. Decadent and crispy fish fingers, some salad and tartare sauce in between a nice sesame bun. That's all you need for tea. Light on the pocket, heavy on the tummy.

Nice crumbed tarakihi fillet. Crumbed coating was nice and crunchy. Fish was soft and fresh. No fishy smell that you get from fish that's been frozen for ages. Thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍
