Love the food from this restaurant & so happy to have them in Petone. Today after travelling 10hrs from up north, I picked something different which was Chicken Pad Thai. The portion size was generous & filled with chicken, veges including bean sprouts & fresh herbs etc however it was quite glutinous & everything kind of stuck together. It was tasty but I’ll stick to my favourites. And also the staff are lovely!

We have been going to K Sing for years - it is a family favourite of ours for a long time. We enjoy the good service, hot food, great meal portions and amazing flavour. However recently have noticed a drop in the overall experience, with a couple of times the food being cold or small portions.Hoping to see K Sing return to its excellent standards soon.

ive been to this restaurant 4 times: today being the 4th visit & my birthday meal & i ordered combination fried rice it was CQQKed perfectly, the meal was entirely balanced with vegetables meat & rice ALL complimenting each other the amount of meat was excellent with the meal. id recommend anyone to visit this place & find out for yourselves just how great the food is & how friendly the staff are. covid compliance is excellent also

We love ksing! Always friendly, food is always delicious (you can't pass the curry puffs, or the number 26) servings are huge, so you will never leave hungry. I definitely reccomend this place to everyone I know.

The food here was delicious! They were very accommodating and made all of our meals vegan, substituting tofu for the meat options listed on the menu. If anyone is looking for good veggie/vegan food in Petone, this is a really great option. It doesn't say on the menu that they have vegan options, but as soon as we asked they said they could do almost everything vegan. Thank you for the lovely food! :)

Yummy! Having lived in Petone for 20 years this was our first visit to K Sing. Finding ourselves with a house suddenly full of young adults thanks to our son we decided to eat out. The restaurant was full but had a table for 2 near the register. As we were looking at the menu a friendly fellow told us that he had been coming here for 11 years and had tried everything on the menu. Taking his recommendations we ordered number 22 and number 28. One was a chicken dish with veges in a coconut cream sauce and the other a beef dish with veges. The waitress suggested we try mild as we could add chilli if we needed to. It was plenty spicy for me. Delicious and very filling we are glad we went and will be back.

I have ordered chicken dish no 19 in the menu. Oh my god let me tell you, this was the most tasty chicken I ever eaten. The sauce was just amazing and right blanced flavor with infusion coconut cream with some fresh julliane carrots and fine sliced cabbage and fresh coriander leafs. I definitely going again to try some delicious food.

Ive had the pleasure of dinning here three times now and each has been very enjoyable. The food is so yummy and fresh and very well portioned...you wont leave here hungry. This is my favorite Thai restaurant and I highly recommend you check it out for yourself and not just take my word for it, or the many others who have also taken the time to write a review.

Always excellent and good value. I'm sitting at another Vietnamese restaurant I'm visiting for the first time and all I can think of is great meals at K Sing. Usually it was at lunch on cold winter days with the sun warming my back in the small restaurant. The Pho is always good for me and always go well with their deep-fried entrees: kumaru is the best. A variety of dishes provide for all tastes so I'm often there in a group of 5-8 people.

After a mysterious drive to Trentham to pick up a marketplace deal, KSing welcomed us to Petone with open arms, warm broths and decent portions. Quality, quantity and quaintness were neither lacking. We felt transported to east Asia thanks to the traditional table setting and artwork, especially in covid times when one cannot travel, a worldly experience is a stone’s throw away at K Sing - for a fraction of the price! In all seriousness, yummy food, great portions, very friendly staff = happy tummies

Best Thai and Laos food in Wellington hands down. I lived in Loas for a few years and I go here and Sabadee constantly because it is the most authentic best tasting food in town.

One of our favourite places to eat in Petone. The food is amazing. Very authentic Asian cuisine. The dine in restaurant is pretty causal and always busy due to the quality of the food. We have had many take aways from here.

I've been here 6 times at least and I have never been disappointed. The food is amazing. The staff are so great. I accidentally ordered a main that had peanuts but the waiter remembered from the entree and adjusted my order for me! That is above and beyond. I will keep recommending K'sing

Honestly AMAZING. Fantastic food, beautiful service and an all together fantastic atmosphere. It was warm and comfortable and very clean and tidy. 10/10 food 10/10 service. Highly recommend the chicken and cashew!!

Small restaurant with lots of tables, but the food more than makes up for the tight environment. We were there on a busy night and they were doing take-out on top of a packed restaurant. The food was huge, and delicious. No dainty dishes - nobody at our table went home hungry! BYO means it's a hearty, tasty and cheap night out.

It was rather noisy with the place packed with patrons (a real bugbear of mine) and with good reason the food was delicious and the delay from taking the order to being served was quite short considering how busy they were , I would have given them four and a half stars but that's not an option and five if they had some sound damping. Oh and they also do piccck up as well.

Had a post birthday dinner here with the family. Staff were very friendly and made sure we were well looked after from start to finish. I ordered the Plaer (Can't remember how you spell it haha) which is a vietnamese dish served with either chicken or beef. I choose the beef with medium spiciness. Goodness, the dish was loaded with flavour and it was such a generous potion. 10/10 will be coming back for more! Thanks Staff!

Good service, affordable and delicious food. The whole restaurant is always warm and inviting but you'll have to get in quick because it's normally full. Or you could just get takeaway like I regularly do. Pud Thai is my personal favourite... to the point where I get it at least once a week.

Just discovered this place after being referred by friends and absolutely love it. In fact we keep looking for excuses to return there every week as we can't get enough of their beautiful fresh ingredients and wonderful flavours!! By far the best Thai in Petone, if not all of Wellington.

I have been going to k-sing off & on since arriving in Nz in 2006. It used to be good, but its even better now. The new owners have really brought it up a notch by updating the decor & their attentive service. Yes prices have gone up, but the best thing on their menu is pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) which is $12, and most other meals are <$18, you can't complain! Best to book s table if you can, as it quickly fills up. This place is firmly 'my local' now!
