The Christmas and New Year Crew were fantastic. Hot food and serviettes. Prior to this Crew, I had to always check my order and ask for serviettes and the food was just warm enough

Haven't been here before, but the burgers were typically mcdonalds burgers, people!!... so they were alright. But the chips were when I started eating them and drink (no ice was requested) was still nice and chilled. If its like this always, then this establishment is good!

Its McDonald's. What do you expect. Its never mind blowing and fills a void when required. Can never be a 5 star for me unless they majorly overhaul there menu. All their beef burgers taste the same.

Lovely clean premises, with good service. I had a double fillet fish burger, and I was quite shocked with it's presentation. It's been a long time since I had this type of burger... I was expecting some lettuce, there was none. Also expecting a slice of gherkin, there was none. Like I said, it's been a long time since I had a fillet fish burger... maybe this is how they are presented now? And there was half a slice of cheese, what the ell'. It was edible, but nothing really to brag about. It will probably be a lonnnng time when I have another one. Chips were hot, good job. And can't go wrong with a sprite zero. Cheers

It's McDonald's - what can I say. We ordered table service. The food arrived. Though it was fairly busy the wait time was minimal for us but the rest of our crew had another 10minutes before they got theirs.

Have been here a few times, the food is usually ok but we have been twice where the ice cream machine was broken and they didn’t have a sign up to say so meaning that we were waiting in the drive through line for ages before being turned away

Store kept clean and coffees were nice. Although the lady at the counter didn’t understand what we were ordering and proceeded to blame us for not knowing the sunrise special has stopped. Burgers were messy but it’s about what you’d expect. Definitely better than other McDonalds I’ve been to but not the best either. Overall would come back.

Have not had a Macca's in years. Was walking into a Sel's joint when the bus stop advert got me. Tried the new burger... can't recall the name. Thru it in the bin, dry. Ovverloaded with mayo. Fillaoffish bun had gone the same way.

They don't appear to be checking vaccine passports apart from eyeballing them which is not good enough. Plus it would be good to have a fish option on the breakfast menu

It's McDonalds, processed, soulless place despite some staff with genuine smiles on their faces. Food underwhelming even though I spent top dollar ($15) trying the gourmet Angus burger (which I used to really like). This time it was limp ingredients and an over cooked dry beef pattie. It helped my drunk friend from getting beyond the point of no return about 11pm so I gave it 3 stars but make no mistake it was quite grim. 🙁 Big Mac is still OK as is the quarter pounder. But it is a bit of stodge at the end of the day.

I went here in 01/2021 and I was pleased with the drive through and the service that I recieved when I brought my meal. The parking space was tidy and accessible. I was able to drive through and collect my meal at a great price. I enjoyed the meal and I would go back there again.

Good spot, touchscreen panels to order your food and drink. Could possibly have a option for those older people who aren't familiar with touchscreen panels and want to buy something. They even deliver your order to the table you're at, as long as you've put in the table number with your order on the touch screen panel.

Answer was Sundays we are usually short staffed. Then got to pick up window & was asked to park up as they were waitjng on chips. So me & car behind parked up to wait..... not good service

If u love a steamed bun, you wont find it here. Quality control also pretty inconsistent. You will often find ingredients left out, incomplete servings; or generally not great looking products comming from the kitchen. Parking however is great.

Not bad ..usual MacDonald's stuff. Milkshake was great though ...very thick and creamy . The place was not too full lots of seats to go round. Also noticed an impressive play area for young kids . There was a climbing frame and seating for the parents close by

This is a wonderful McDonald's to eat in lovely an clean fast service an friendly staff. I noticed that there were four people doing restaurant serving taking people there orders. I also noticed that one of the people were also going around cleaning up the restaurant as it needed it. They were very good at noticing that there was rubbish that needed attention an also tables that needed to be cleared and cleaned a 5 out of 5 for this McDonald's very happy eating in here.

Either way, management here is really on the ball, one of the quickest and cleanest McDonald's I've been to (though the bar could be higher, I don't frequent fast food joints).

Lovely n homely place to hang out with friends and catch up with family for a burger meal, enjoy the free Wi-Fi, recharge the mobile phones whilst you eat, I reckoned this is the best Golden Arches in Wgn, lovely friendly staff, interacts well with us their customers. Playground had low level activities for my child to play with as he was too little to go higher. Tables were great height for him to eat in the play area. Definitely somewhere a parent can relax or play with there child.

Good food, but coffee is usually burnt. Good area for kids, but when I ordered one hash brown, it took me 15 minutes to get it, this was at 8 o clock in the morning so barely anyone around. I go here daily so maybe train your staff better.

Wow service from a young lad was absolutely stunning! You absolutely knew and felt the genuineness in his engagement with you. I love excellent customer service! This young lad has obviously been raised well. Just had to let his manager know before I left.

I have a hate-love relationship with this Maccas. Unlike other people's review, I always get my meal perfectly and on time. There is plenty of parking. Staff are pleasant. The issue I have is purely cleanliness. Sometimes I go there, it is quite filthy because their staff don't clean and their bins are overflowing. I get that it when it is busy it is hard to maintain this, but I feel like other McDonald's premises handle it much better than the petone staff.

It's definitely one of the better McDonald's around, but it can get extremely busy during lunch time to the point where the drive through line extends onto the road. They seem to handle it fine as it moves quickly and the wait doesn't end up being all that long.

Mid-sized modern McDonalds just off Jackson St in Petone. Food was well prepared (not too rushed like some McDs) and the place was tidy and clean.

It's a shame they don't have fruit toast like they use to. It was a great combo deal with flat white. Stopped a few years now. Will they bring it back????? It made me a regular customer then. Now only visit if lucky once or twice a month for my favourite flat white.

It's a.McDonalds. difficult street signage, awkward street access. The food is to a good standard, and it's clean. Staff are friendly and well presented -- so all the McDonaldsy-stuff they are doing properly. Nothing to complain about, really -- the location itself does this franchise no favors, but if you are seeking the McDonalds dining experience, it's delivered acceptably here.

I wanna give 5 stars to one of the staff (the only one who worths 5 stars in this Mc Donald’s) who was very friendly, caring. When I walked in, I noticed she was helping a customer with smiles (not many staff smile) at the self-served machines area. When I was scrolling through the menu and thinking (just 10s something) what to order, she came immediately and asked if I need any help (friendly but not in a robotic way). Later, when she came to my table and gave me the fries, she reminded me in a very kind way that the fries were VERY HOT. I have been many McDonald’s in Wellington, she’s the first one sooooo FRIENDLY, CARING & HARD-WORKING. p.s. wanna give 5 stars to this McDonalds but I noticed only one staff was AWESOME. I was told those staff at the cashier were..........you know what I mean.

Sometimes it is very busy but the staff is very friendly. Plenty of space for kids at the play area, the location is good, easy to park there. It usually doesn't take long to get the orders.

Always ask for a receipt youll need it when you have to return to sort out your order. High turn over of staff.. hence the irregular service experience. When 3 pepole order the same Icecream Sundae I expect them to look the same but these 3 were a range of sizes with one being sadly much smaller. The chocolate top was too thick to cut with a plastic spoon and all the chocolate sauce was on the bottom. The waiter brought them with a smile and a kind word.

Ordered two burgers through drive thru, told to park up, waited, got food, got home, lo and behold both burgers had a bite out of them. (think there was a screw up and given to someone else, won't blame staff for that BUT should have been at least checked before handing out). HOWEVER when we went back with burgers the lovely lady on the counter apologised profusely, refunded and replaced our order. So kudos for the "putting it right". I'll go back. But I'll check order before I leave!

Refurbished to a high standard and with a more spacious interior, more seating, covered play-area, free WiFi, this branch of Mac's is as good as any overseas; in fact, it is better then some Ms in some major cities (this from a non-fast-food person). Expect the usual Mac's fast-food fare, with alternatives eg. wraps if you're a fast-food fan, and cafe fare from their Mac Cafe. Service is courteous and gracious. You can order from their machines or else in person at the counter, if you can't use those.

Like most Mc'Ds this one has a children's playground, and plenty of seating. Bathrooms as well as a disabled bathroom. A ramp for easy access for those on wheelchairs. Staff are friendly and the service quick. Has drive thru also. The restarant is a clean n tidy outfit, food fresh n hot. Also situated right next to Petone paknsave. Thumbs up Mc'Ds. .👍

It's a typical McDees branch. It occupies the same car park as the Pak 'n' save Petone. They have a computerised order taking board with the order dutifully being served up some minutes later. They, however didn't have the book as part of the happy meal my child requested. Instead, a toy was issued fair enough.

This McDonalds has a lot of cold draughts running through it on a Winters day. There is a warm area to sit opposite the playground though. The staff were quick and efficient. It's a bit of a walk from the main street.
