Been to this amazing place today for my flatmate’s order pick up. Food was amazing and customer service was friendly.Highly recommended.

After trying just about every Indian restaurant for an authentic chilli chicken in Wellington, I was about to give up on finding a decent one. Then I stumbled upon this place. They make THE best chilli chicken I've ever had. The portion size is really good too (the chicken actually touches the top of the lid as opposed to being half empty like most other places) I haven't tried any of their other dishes but based on what the chilli chicken was like I can only imagine how nice and fresh everything else will be too. Skip the stale food from chilli masala that's right next door and go here instead. It's definitely worth every buck. I'll be getting all of my weekend meals from here from now on.

Alright guys...looking for the best Hyderabadi Biryani ?? then you've come to right place. The Biryani here is the best in Wellington and the taste is truly authentic and mesmerising, the aroma will just blow your mind. Can't be missed..

Definitely the best curries in Wellington. It's for sure authentic Indian cuisine. I pick up few curries every weekend. I order them online and let them know my specifications and every time they make awesome curries just to my taste. And that's the reason I travel about 20kms every weekend to pick up a few curries. I tried most of the Indian restaurants and takeaways around but I didn't like any after trying Paradise. I highly recommend to try.

I can't explain my first Biryani in Wellington. Really Yummm and can agree with others that it is the best. I surprised my South African flatmate with Lamb and Chicken Biryani and she loved it too. Curries are beautifully made and good quantity with adjusted spices as well. Highly recommend this place if you want to take away and enjoy at home with family. I prefer the Family pack any day when more people are home. Waiting for this place to flourish and become into a huge restaurant. 👌

This paradise reminds me of Dum biryani from my hometown of Hyderabad. Town's best and most delicious biryani. I would strongly recommend this place.

The most tastiest and yummiest lamb biryani in lower hutt. Also the cheapest among all.i ordered after reading all the positive reviews and they were all correct, family pack is huge to serve about 5-6 people , good value for money. Hugely recommended

Staffs are friendly. Ordered family lamb biryani. Taste good but disappointed to see large chunks of bones with less meat. Thanks for your reply! I do understand what is traditional Dum Lamb Biryani. But your website doesn't say the type (Bone or Boneless). I've tried lamb biryani from other local stores at Wellington and they don't have the chunks of bones. BTW, the 3 stars are for your friendly staffs.

Chicken and lamb family pack biryani is good, kebabs are good too. But the quality of taste has gone down a bit from when they started.

When they say authentic, they're not kidding. Meals are fantastic and made fresh. You can tell they really care about the food they serve and it shows. Can't wait to try their extensive menu. New Paradise, you are a treasure.

Came in close to closing with my brother and ordered two vegie curries. Dishes were cooked very fast and the both the shop workers were very friendly. Didn't know what expect considering chilli masala was our first choice( there wait time is usually quite long) Got home opened our parcels and were plesantly surprised to see the array of fresh herbs and seeds in our dishes. Food tasted great, excellent combination of spices and not too sweet. Very pleased with our meals 😊

As someone who has eaten their way around India and is an avid fan of Biryani, my god, what an outstanding Chicken Dum Biryani Chef Prasad serves. Honouring the tradition of the Hyderabadi Biryani, which is known to be the best style of Biryani in the world, this dish is a knock-out punch. Chicken so smooth as it falls of the bone, rice light, warm and comforting, and what about that lovely traditional sesame-coconut sauce on the side. How lucky the people of Lower Hutt and Wellington are to have such a dish bless their city, I hope they treasure it!

I love the food here. After hearing many positive notes from my friends, I finally tried this place and I took a right choice. My favourite is Chilli chicken and Chicken Briyani. Awesome and will come again...

I just dinned in the New Paradise take away restaurant in the Hutt and I am very happy with the food quality and Chef Vara customer service. He goes the extra mile to teach myself on how to better combine the flavours of my side meals along my drink. This restaurant is very friendly. We'll done guys.

The Biriyani is perfect and consistent in taste and fresh. I personally love their Baghaar-e-baingan. Recommend this place to have Hyderabadi Biriyani.

Lamb biryani was excellent, but just be aware it is done in the style where the meat is still on the bone. Chicken korma and chicken vindaloo on the other hand could be better. Vindaloo had a strong vinegar taste.

I just went into New paradise, the store was nice and cosy and the staff were nice and friendly. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and man it was good! The serving was enough for two even though it was a single meal they were generous on the rice serving unlike other restaurants. The spices and flavours were spot on and so very delicious. Would highly recommend
