Wow, tried their Kong burger and it was freaking awesome. Great flavors and it comes in two sizes to cater for the big eaters. Matched it up with some fries topped with real chicken nuggets....so so so good!!! Really friendly service and we got our meals nice and fast. Prices are reasonable so all good, all round.

Went for brunch with a few friends worked out really well as its in the same complex as laughalots so my little one could burn off some energy before meeting them. I loved that they brought over an activity book and pencils to keep my girl amused. The range was great from standard brunch items to pizzas and also having Gorilla Burger part of it if you didnt feel like pizza or anything you can have a tasty burger. P.S get lots of napkins if you get a burger. I made more mess than my 3 year old lol

friendly staff, (who kept on apologising for the slow service when it actually was quicker than a lot of other restaurants) it was a tidy venue and their online booking made things nice and easy - we requested an outdoor seat and sure enough when we got there, there was an outdoor table reserved for us. :)

Rizzos is a very spacious and welcoming cafe at Station Village with a great outdoor area for sunny days. Staff are pleasant and efficient, coffee is half price when you bring your own keep cup and toilet facilities are available. They operate a reward points scheme and also make great pizzas.

Broo, no joke the pizzas here actually slap. Got a burger and a pizza on a cold night. Thought I'd give something else ago rather than go to the usual places in petone. I'd recommend coming here. Next time coming for a beer and food. Big love 💘

A fantastic pizzeria with a nice funky vibe. The handmade pizzas are made on site and cooked to perfection in a fire pizza oven. The drinks menu is extensive and so is the bar stock. There is a good selection of local and Italian wines and beers. Decor is simple elegance with a touch of Italy. The shared outdoor back area is certainly magical on a warm summers night, perfect for alfresco dining. The staff are great and provide awesome service. Pricing was reasonable and I certainly would come back for good handmade pizza.

The place is lovely, the food is great, they have lots of good deals(our fave is the free meal for kids during Sundays- for every full priced meal that you order), they have an outdoor area for when it's nice and sunny, and the staff are friendly 😀

Service today was amazing. I booked for 10 people with only 3hrs to spare and they were happy to accommodate us. We ended up having 13 total and they still delivered great food quickly. Plus they helped us with the birthday cake we purchased for my sister. 5 star service!

Giving Station Village a try so decided to have dinner tonight ar Rizzo's. Was an awesome choice, the food was delicious and full of flavour but we definitely ordered way more than we could actually eat. The chips with parmesan and truffle oil would be my highlight of the meal with the huge Mac and Cheese ball coming a close second. Not saying the pizza wasn't delicious, just that the side dishes are spectacular. Will be coming back for one of there prosecco happy hours next time 😉

Had the WOAP Glazed Babe burger with beer match and was not disappointed. I thought the pulled pork with bacon and maple syrup glaze might be overwhelming, but no, the lemony beer brought it back down perfectly. Husband had beef cheeks, which also looked fantastic. We also ordered a side salad cos I felt we needed some green stuff as well. Maybe a little too much onion in this, but I love the pomegranate seeds. Food is reasonably priced, drinks might be a little on the expensive side, didn't see any glasses of wine under $10. Daughter had the cookies and cream milkshake for pudding - was an amazing looking sweet. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Rizzos is our go to lunch/dinner restaurant after our rock climbing sessions. Staff are always brilliant and food is exceptional. Restaurant is always tidy and well kept and the seating areas, both indoor and outdoor, are comfortable. Highly recommended this restaurant to everyone wanting amazing food and an excellent dining experience.

We love coming here. The service is friendly, the food comes quickly and there is space for the kids to run or scooter around. Tonight we had a mixture of pizza and burgers. My burger was delicious and like an upmarket fast food one. The cheesecake was really nice made with authentic ingredients.

The food here is at best average. The atmosphere is great, sunny and open good space for kids to run around, staff very attentive and kind, and gave us everything we needed. Unfortunately the pizza was a bit of a let down.. there was hardly any cheese, flavourless and dry chicken and basically unsalted bread with tomato sauce and onions. This was such a let down, and it was the first time in my life I had to salt a pizza to make it taste better. A bit of a let down compared to the rest of the experience.

I had a pizza here for lunch and it was AMAZING! The sauce was perfect and also the crust nice and not too doughy. The service was excellent and attentive, they came back to check on me a few times, but not invasive. Nice, clean and sunny, great outside area too. I think this is a fabulous place and a hidden secret in Lower Hutt.

One of the best wood fired pizza’s we had in a long long while. The pizza bread was very soft, almost melts in your mouth kind, pizza base sauce and dressing had a unique flavour, which differed from pizza to pizza, a beautiful difference we experienced. A must recommended from us!!

Fantastic. The buttermilk chicken burger was so good we went back again 2 days later. Great service and great for kids with colouring a special kids menu and friendly staff. The lady with the blue hair was so awesome and understanding with our loud and rambunctious child. 100% would go back again if we are in lower hutt again.

Friendly staff serving a decent selection of pizzas, pasta and various other Italian food. We often sneak in for their gelato based "spiders" which are delicious. The pizzas are probably good for two people each. With the entertainment book, they have a decent two for one deal.

Nice looking place but a limited menu, Pizza is OK but otherwise nothing special. We had a dragon bowl soba noodle salad which was a bit overpriced, bland and stodgy. A chicken burger which was a soggy mess with uncooked bacon accompanied by fries which had been overcooked in dirty oil. Kids had pizza which was OK, (kids eat free on Sundays, nice) They ordered pepperoni which was really spicey, a bit much for a kids pizza. Some might be OK with it and our kids are fairly used to spicey food but our youngest had to pick it off. The outside area is nice and they have Pilsner Urquell on tap so I'd recommend this place for a pizza and a beer on a sunny afternoon but not much else.

2nd choice for a meal turned out to be fantastic! cheesy garlic bread and balsamic mushrooms for starters. Bread was very good but the mushrooms were divine -perfectly cooked, right amount of balsamic and feta -could have these as a main just by myself. steak and parmigiana for main. Both very beautifully done, just be warned that meal sizes are very large, my chicken parmigiana could have fed 3-4. Thank goodness for takeaway boxes.

The pizza was out of this world!!! Rizzo's is traditional Italian craft pizza at its best...complete with the earthen oven. Friendly and efficient staff and clean restaurant, even though it was a cold day and they could have had some heaters on. In all a very lovely cosy atmosphere and a thrill of a meal.

We ordered from the gorilla burger menu. Loaded fries, spicy monkey burger and the double kong. (If I recall correctly) Everything we had was delicious and made to a high standard. The donuts were incredible (we tried both flavours). The service was great! - friendly and fast (despite being short staffed). Looking forward to eating here again 😄
