E.Lamb meat on chips is tasty and high quality. Only problem is the portion size is too small for the price paid. Hopefully they can improve on this as I see other reviews saying the same thing.
S.A little gem with absolutely delicious food and very friendly staff. Falafal was my absolute favourite. It was so beautiful. I ended up getting a dozen falafal to take home and just couldn't stop eating them. Rest of the meat on the platter, all of them were so moist and tender. Highly recommend it!
Went back for more after a while and the food and hospitality was just the same. Every visit makes us what to go back for more. I was stuffed after a mixed meat on salad and still ended up eating 3 more falafals. I can eat those falafal all day long. Still highly recommend it.
Z.Ordered meat, cheese, and zattar Manakeesh (Arabic Pizza, well, sort of) 3 weeks ago to share with friends over brunch and we were pleasantly surprised. Went back last week and ordered some more :)
can't fault the size, quality, and value for money. Going back very soon to sample the other menu items.
X.Chicken and chips is really good for a quick bite, would recommend increasing the portion size for the large size chicken and chips. Overall it is worth the price. :)
H.Sorry there isn't 6 stars to put. If you would like to test 'the real/original falafel' and hummus, then you should visit this restaurant. The falafel will be fried right in front of you, which is the most important thing when it comes to falafel specifically. Amazing food, super clean, and friendly staff. Today it was my first time there, and surely it won't be the last. I look forward to testing the other dishes.
R.I just had the most amazing chicken kebab at this place! I forget what the very nice guy running the place called it but it was a little different than their standard kebab which I'm sure is also delicious. This one had this fantastic garlic sauce on it! The taste is still in my mouth as I type this review and it's seriously tempting me to get off my couch, get dressed and drive the 15 minutes back to Tarbush to get another kebab! Wow! The fact that the place is also well maintained and clean and the owner is a nice and personable guy is all just icing on the cake!
I'll want to return a few times to make sure the quality is consistent but I do believe The Hutt has a serious new contender for best kebab!

S.Can't rate this place highly enough. This is the only place I have managed to find in New Zealand over the past three years that I've lived here that does fresh and authentic falafel. Absolutely love it, the guy that owns it is super lovely and the portions are generous and well priced. Usually a VERY picky person, but am absolutely stoked to have found a place that actually tastes like the food does in the Middle East.

T.By far the best Falafel I have tasted in New Zealand. So crisp and fresh made right in-front of you from a very skillful and lovely chef.
Shawarma was wonderful too with right amount of fresh salads and meat cooked as per your like.
Coming to deserts tried Bakhlawa and Firni, Bakhlawa was not too sweet and was perfect with wonderful layers of dry fruits.
Firni was just amazing soothing and refreshing taste of the rose water and rose petals used in the dish was so wonderful......Will visit again to try more dishes.

S.Absolutely LOVE this place! The food is consistently amazing so we love to try different things from the menu,some we've never heard of before or we have tried somewhere else but didn't enjoy. We have not been disappointed even once at Tarbush. The place is always clean and tidy, the guy is super welcoming. You're definitely missing out on a good thing if you don't get yourself in there. WARNING-The Baba Ghanoush and the Fried Kubba are especially awesome. Addiction to Tarbush highly likely..just saying xx
