G.A great meal and my favorite place to eat out when in Mangawhai.
The pork belly was great as was the mozzarella salad.
M.Beautiful kai. Honestly some of the best I have ever had. Have been to three of the five sister restaurants now and didn’t think any restaurant could top The Cove. I was happily proved wrong. Will definitely return. It’s a very dangerous thing that I live within walking distance.
D.Highly recommend. Beautiful place for a girls night, or family dinner. Ambiance is amazing and so are the staff. Food was faultless, which I don’t say often. We had the special seafood tasting plate (phenomenal), Asian pork ribs, seared tuna and Margarita pizza.
C.We had an amazing time tonight. There was a large group of us and our waitress Ruby was awesome. She was attentive and so lovely and personable. Our food was perfect and they were so careful with our allergy. Will definitely be back!
A.Good food - we had the Venison and seared Tuna. Unfortunately, the tuna is served by itself, so side vegetable dish and sauce are additional.
B.Always a pleasurable experience with amazing staff and fantastic meals. Can’t recommend the Dune highly enough. Never had a bad experience over the past 3 years!!
M.Well, the nearby beach is insanely beautiful. We did not expect the local beer so creative and pizza so delicious, tired feet and the happy memory of a full bell. Will definitely return.
D.Food and service was good but disappointed they didn't offer local wine. We came from out of town and like to try local when we travel or else it's just all a bit the same wherever you go. Tried some Mangawhai wines somewhere else and they were stunning, would have bought one at your place too. Just a thought and had a nice time at The Dune.
C.The perfect way to end the perfect sun filled day: wood fired pizza - beef brisket and caramelised onion to be exact. Perfect (can’t use this word enough today) balance of flavours on the perfect pizza base with a McLeods Hazy in (you guessed it) perfect surroundings. Need I say more.
