Best vege spring rolls ever 😍 perfectly crispy, stuffed full with well cooked veges. Donuts actually have a decent coating and the fish is always fresh with perfect batter 👌 definitely my go to

Best fish and chips in town with less amount of oil and fair price. Perfectly cooked chips. Will visit again. They are transparent as the cooking is visible to public through the glass window from outside the shop.

For a small town fish & chip shop Basils is the place to find great tasting takeaways at an affordable price. The chips are my favourite, well cooked and crispy with good portions of fish. I recommend you try them if in Masterton.

Made a bulk order of 17 fish and chips for a group of friends Thought it was great value for Hoki freshly battered. Nearly every one commented on the decent portions and how nice the fish was, hardly any oil compared to typical fish and chips. Will definitely come back next time pass through Masterton and feeling like fish and chips
