Great place to eat and the prices aren't bad.6th July we went there tonight and had a great meal. I had Spicy Beef and my freind had Orange Beef. Boy it was great to set down to a meal and relax in quite serounds and be able to hear each other. Thank-you for such a great meal. More Chan.. Top marks to you all that work there.

We Tried Chan's even though some reviews are less than favorable, I'm glad we did ! The Food was very tasty and well proportioned. Even with two large groups and takeaways, the meals were quite fast and service very attentive. Well done Chan's.

Went there with my family. As with many asian restaurants in this country, if you sit down to eat, you are charged about $8 more per plate (different amount depending on what you order) then if you get take-aways. We did sit down, since we were out of town. The food was tasty and fresh. I ordered something just because it said it came with "gourmet" mushrooms; however, I was really extremely disappointed, as they were just the generic white button mushrooms (they should really not advertise gourmet if it is white button mushrooms). My meal did not come with rice, and they did not tell me that, but I was so hungry when it came, I didn't feel like waiting to order rice; if you sit down and pay the extra $8/plate, it should really come with rice. The food was on the blander side, but it was fresh. They do have tofu,which many asian restaurants don't, which is a plus. The waitstaff was very friendly. The restaurant was clean. There are not very many dinner options in Masterton, as it seems that the city shuts down at 3 or 4 on a weekend. I would go back and order take-aways, as for what you get with sitting down, I wouldn't pay the extra money.
