R.Went for a staff Christmas meal. The food was delicious and the decor delightful. I had a butter chicken and a sizzling Brownie - the butter chicken was delicious with tender chicken, the sizzling Brownie wasn't as good as it smelled and looked as the chocolate sauce got too hot/burned, I reckon a caramel sauce that turns toffee would be better.
B.Amazing restaurant. Great, unique choices on the menu. Neat set up. Very classy. The food was delicious and presented well. The service was good and we were attended well all the time. Constantly checked on. Prices reasonable for such a smart venue. Only 2 regrets: I should have come here sooner and that there was no coffee after our meal due to a broken coffee machine. I would definitely recommend it for someone wanting to celebrate any special occasion or just to create one by visiting here.
j.Great ambiance and food choices are unique as it’s fusion food.. Went for lunch but dinner menu has wider options..Very good vibe..Bit on the pricey side but worth it for special occasions..The food portions could have been bigger, but the quality n taste was really good.
L.Amazing service and quality of food and cocktails. We will definately be coming back again. Indoor seating was full so we opted to dine out on the patio as it was not too cold. We didn't feel too disconnected from the restaurant with music piped through speakers and constant service. Most enjoyable.

We tryed a few dishes, steamed Momos, beef and coconut rice and a goat stu dish And they were all fantastic.
perfectly cooked and spiced to suit.
Hand made food with care.
if you love indian bread they make some of the best Roti and nan i have had in a while.

V.Good food. Good customer service too. It would be better if they have more staff in the front though. When I had lunch, there were atleast 10 customers, with just one guy handling the customers and the till - he is a super star for sure ❤️ as he made everyone happy in his limit, but for the price I pay (it's an expensive menu) I don't appreciate going to counter every time asking for a spoon, more naan bread etc. (Not a reflection on the server, he has done an amazing job within his limits).
L.Go for the food but don’t expect any real cocktails. A place calling itself a whiskey bar should be able to make an Old Fashioned. Perhaps it was simply the bartender today, if so “bartender” isn’t really an apt description.
N.We are lucky to have this fine restaurant in Masterton. Food, staff, ambience excellent. For those not sure to order try the "Saag" my fav is chicken but there is lamb and vegetarian choices. Enjoy as I did.
F.Top class decoration and delicious food. Love their Malaysian fish curry. So yummy
Only a bit downside is above average price but with smaller portion of meal. (compare to most restaurants)
So, we had to find somewhere else for afternoon coffee just a few hours after our lunch 😂
But will go back again for their lunch special
S.Absolutely delicious, beautiful decor, great staff and delicious food. We have been twice now and it is to become one of our favourite restaurants, we cannot fault anything and on a cold winters night it is warm and cosy. Congratulations to whoever put this restaurant and whiskey bar together it's a winner.
Onion barji, Mee Goreng and Beef Rendang, all absolutely delicious, great portion sizes too.
D.There are so many dishes on the menu that I want to try so I'll be back for sure. Today I had a "lunch" portion of Malaysian Chicken Curry which was $15 & smaller, but with Naan bread & rice was sufficient for me. Mmmm

R.Excellent place, great ambience, food and presentation is top of the class. For the first time, I heard my friend saying vegetarian dishes are very tasty there than the non-vegetarian. This is something rare to find in the Indian restaurants. I enjoyed to the last bit thoroughly and highly recommend. Staff is very welcoming and accomdating too there.

A.We went for dinner on ANZAC day Sunday. The service was pretty slow. We found the menu to be really expensive for the quantity of food received. The ambiance was good.
We ordered starters and mains. We ordered starters Fish wrapped in banana leaf with crispy prawns, the fish was very blank on taste for $18
Starters arrived on time but it took ages for getting the mains. We waited an hour for the mains. We ordered chicken biriyani and goat curry. Both were just alright nothing special compared to the price we paid.

A.What a great place to dine! The food was SUPER yummy and our team of 20 all raved about their lunch after our visit. Food was nicely presented and staff super friendly and accommodating. Although we didn't try out the whisky lounge, it was a well designed cozy and appealing space and would make for a great hang out space before dinner at Koi. Thanks so much for having us Munish :)

My only criticism would be to have some guidance on heat of dishes on the menu. If it's not spicy then don't offer it as an option. My friend had a hot korma (oxymoron?) which was indeed spicy. I ordered a kunning "hot", which was delicious but I couldn't taste any chilli. If its not meant to be a hot dish, then don't say so :) I would much rather have chosen something authentic and hot.

L.Amazing curries, good service and fantastic decor. The poppadom platter was a piece of art (but make sure you’re really hungry before you order it!) it’s amazing that Masterton has a place of this calibre - a real treasure.

J.Comfortable, private outside area, good service, excellent food. The entree, The Sizzler, was really tasty and the sauces just beautiful. Most enjoyable and with good company even better.
E.Great service and food. Drinks came out very quickly. The momo dumplings were very tasty the Lassi was decadent and paired well with my goat curry.
P.The food was nice, but bear in mind their level of spiciness is off. I really can't handle chilli well but I tried my partner's dish labelled with two 🌶️🌶️ and it was pretty mild even to me. I went for a mild spiciness and it was not spicy at all.
The butter chicken was super sweet, but the rice was nice.

M.Wow, what a find! Was not expecting this. Intense flavours, exceptional food.
We ordered the Hawkers Hunt, delicious, spiced, fried chicken, with a Dahl, lamb curry, coconut rice and the most flakey, delicious roti on the side.
And, the beef rendang. Rich, creamy, highly spiced and so, so good.
In all it did not look like a lot of food but with an extra roti added the two of us couldn't finish it.
Great decor, okay beer list. The whiskey is not my thing, I will let someone more knowing review this aspect.
I have been to India and Malaysia and loved the food, Koi took me back!
