Amazing service, bathroom is always clean, tables are never dirty, self service machines are much preferable to use than any other fast food services around masterton. Available charging points for devices which I always find useful when finding a place to kill time around town. Will regularly come in and do some work etc.

I'm not a fan of McDonald's, but as far as they go, this ones pretty good. It gets very busy around meal times but they deal with the queues quickly and orders are generally accurate and hot 👍

I don't like McDonald's but my family do. It's fine for a Mcdonalds the drive through layout isn't the best since it the line is full you've got to wait for it to move to get to a carpark. I stop here at least twice a year and each time has been quick and easy.

Self service machines playing up. Get right through order & it glitches. Go to counter to order. 3 customers waiting to order. Staff too busy doing food to actually take orders. Go back to another ordering kiosk. Get through order but took ages for tap&go to work for payment and then no receipt printed.

Their fries were beautifully cooked and not to salty and their burgers were also well cooked and not too oily or heavy to eat. Coffee was also good. Wished they served napkins with the table delivery.

Consistently good food and service. The only gripe is the ordering kiosks, which usually don't work worth a dam'n. However, the staff know how to sort that out, and they do. Why 5 stars? If you buy a Big Mac here, it will be assembled carefully and delivered hot. It will look exactly like the pictures, nice and neat, not sloppy. A drink refill station would be a nice touch, maybe one day. The place is kept spotless, tho' -- which is way more important IMO. McDonald's is pricey nowadays -- it didn't used to be. At this franchise you do get what you pay for, tho' -- which can't be said for all franchises.

We stopped in tonight at 9.30 after driving back from Riversdale. The staff was extremely efficient, our order was delivered correctly and swiftly and I had the best damn coffee I could hope for. The premises was clean and tidy.

Plenty of seating and good entertainment - two tv's in different areas and a kids playground which is in a different area to the rest of the diners so that they aren't annoyed by little kids. I don't eat macies often. But my visit was a good afternoon visit, after swimming at the pools. Great service from staff behind counters ! My friends kids enjoyed eating happy meals and ice creams before heading home to Wellington

Quality of food was ok, chips were cold and not salty but the cheeseburgers were hot and tasty. Super expensive now though, what used to cost us $30 is now $42. Its getting unrealistic to go to McDonalds now but that is proabably a good thing as it encourages healthier eating options.

I've discovered if you arrive at the drive thru at just right time. You will meet a man who's voice was ment for radio. He will take your order like no other. Sadly you cant beat the old playground with the quater pounder tower. Back when you were allowed to climb things that had the potential to brake bones. Had orders that have been missing items, Had orders where I've gained items. Cant take the good without the bad. Puts BK to shame. Cops linger round the carpark so make sure your vehicle is up to par, or park somewhere else haha. Cant beat a McCheat meal on a monday! On ya Maccas Masterton!

80% good sometimes get the wrong order or something missing or no salt on chips....drivethrough is for a reason so you don't have to go instore so having to go in after being through the drivethrough is meaningless having to double wait and no extra for the muck around.....other than that maccas is maccas.

One of the cleanest McDonalds I have ever come across. Had the usually fare which are made with care. Children's playground is small but they loved it.

Mac Donald's! I have basically visited every single one in the north sides of the nz! The wellington ones are as amazing as this one! By yourself and want to have a tasty 5 star burger? Go for mac Donald's they have the classic cheese burgers which are AMAZING! Plus they have now added the double and triple version of the cheese burger! Have kids? Go to Mac Donald's, I wouldn't say to go here EVERY day but take them to maccas occasionally and they will love it! Just get them the classic happy meal! I would definitely recommend going to maccas!

We've never been huge McDonald's fans and apart from caramel sundaes which are always good wherever you go, the quality of everything else varies hugely between franchises. We've had some shockers but today, we took the grandkids to the Masterton one for lunch and it was THE best ever Maccas we have ever had. The service was outstanding, had our meals so fast considering how busy it was, the food was fresh, hot and perfectly cooked and presented. Never thought I'd be giving 5 star review to a McDonalds franchose but Masterton, you deserve it!

My husband and I were travelling through to Dannevirke on Saturday 26/10/19 we stopped at Masterton McDonald for dinner. While there my handbag fell on the floor. I picked up all the contents then we continued on our way. When travelling back to Wellington we stopped at Dannevirke supermarket where I noticed I did not have my wallet. We stopped at MacDonalds on the way back to Wellington to see if it had been found. Two days after losing it and the staff handed it back to me. Many thanks to the staff at Masterton MacDonalds. Much appreciated. Kathy
