D.We(family with 2 kids) were on route to Martinborough so did a quick stop by for dinner at this restaurant...it was the best decision ever. Very tasty food. My personal favorite was the “Chicken Afghani”. The garlic naans were made to perfection as well. Great hospitality - felt very welcome. Highly recommended.
B.Food was great. Generous portions. A poppadom served to every guest. Quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Unique, quaint individual serving dishes. The restaurant and restrooms are clean and well kept. There is soft Indian music playing in the background.
H.Spices of India is located on Lincoln Road just off the main drag through Masterton. They served up really good food. Including their child-friendly butter chicken, which was excellent. The surroundings of the restaurant were pleasant, relaxing and vibrantly themed. The service was quick responsive, friendly and helpful. We hardly had to wait at all. The prices were also very good. Overall, by far the best indian meal we have had in a while. I highly recommend this restaurant to all lovers of good quality Indian food.

s.Absolutely stunning food with great prices. The service is so personal and thoughtful it's almost like being in someone's home not a restaurant. This is one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever been in, this is the place other restaurants should strive to be like in regards to cleanliness. My family loves this place, we highly recommend. You must have the onion bahji.

m.This restaurant is such a nice discovery! There is a great range of dishes, the food is really tasty, and you can discover fine Indian savors in their meals. Plus, the staff is friendly and caring, and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely advise you to go there!
A.Food is 5/5 what makes this 4 stars though is online its listed closing at 9:30pm when infact it closes earlier, made the mistake of ordering something at 9pm only to discover the place is closed when I went to get it

D.This is a great place to eat delicious food if you have dietary needs. It is so nice to have choice on the menu in a friendly, accommodating environment. One of my favourite places to eat in Masterton

Tip:- ask for Mushroom Do-Piaza if you are vegetarian and even if not, do try.

S.I have been to lots of Indian restaurant all around in New Zealand & I have found one of My Favorite Saag Paneer ( Spinach Curry with Cheese) in whole New Zealand & Spices Of India is the place where I always get the same taste whenever I visit them . Love the restaurant ambient & would highly recommend to everyone if anyone is travelling to Masterton. Well Done

I.First experience at Spices of India and it was wonderful overall. The saag paneer, and the vegetable jalfrezi were full of flavour without being too heavy. The staff were really attentive and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the deco was nice. Would definitely come here again.

We're frequently running around at work and missing lunch so it's great to know you can pick up the phone and get a quality curry in 15 minutes. I'm a huge fan of their Vindaloo which comes with a julienne of ginger. Theres a great range of tasty curries on the menu and the restaurant is cosy with a touch of ambience.
B.Dropped in for a quick impromptu curry. Food, prices, menu choices, explanations and atomoshere were all great. This is an inexpensive, well presented and clean restaurant.
