People if you are looking for authentic Italian food be it takeaway or in-house dining then this is your go to business. Had two very nice, generous sized pasta dishes that had lovely flavours especially the risotto. Definitely recommend. Steve Franklin Rotorua

Got the kumura croquettes, Greek salad and pumpkin pizza. The croquettes were pretty tasty, the Greek salad was a great side but sadly the pizza was a disappointment. It was dry, the pumpkin undercooked and I wouldn’t rate the base much.

This meal was fantastic. I had the fish of the day and it came with muscles and prawns too. I did deviate from the menu by having rice instead of salad. Overall very impressed with the portion and the quality of the food. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my requests.

The quality of service at Tripoli is unreal! Called in tonight for a cuppa and a cookie and they were super, super busy! Fully booked out for a massive function. Didn't stop the very busy, very friendly staff from coming over to check how I was, and ask if there was anything else I might like. This is why I keep coming back to Tripoli! Thanks guys!

So far we have been going around the cafes in Masterton and Tripoli Bistro was 5 star across the board...we were not judged for being dressed super relaxed and the instant happy greeting as you walked in really made it! Exceptional waitress who managed a rather full bistro efficiently and with a constant smile. Fantastic cocktails, compliments to the waiter! Kitchen was speedy and no wait felt long between orders. Food was yummy, especially the tapas, although the dessert was a little heavy. Next time I'll stick to a boozy affogato.

My partner and I went the night before my birthday and it was awesome! Flat bread and dips were great, yummy interesting dips and they do not stinge you on the bread! I had the carbonara which amazing and velvety and my partner went crazy for his lamb shank! Definitely returning on our next trip over the hill

Great food, done well. The service here was fast, professional and friendly - despite the venue being at almost maximum capacity on a Saturday evening. Chilled water, glasses and menus were delivered to our table promptly; and sufficient time was allowed to elapse before the waitress returned to take our food and drink orders. We ordered pizzas all 'round, which arrived after a very short wait and they were faultless. The Chefs here are clearly well practised in their craft. The front of house staff were very accomodating of our two little people, and the children's menu offers excellent value for money, whilst doubling as a colouring-in activity. The background music features plenty of New Zealand reggae artists, and is played at a conversation-friendly volume level, which is a definite enhancement to the Triploi dining experience. Pro-tip: Book a table on Saturday nights to avoid disappointment.

We had a good family meal at this little bistro on a Friday evening in Masterton. The waiting staff were sweet, there were good colouring pencils to keep the children occupied, and the place had a nice busy vibe. The menu and wine list are long (maybe unnecessarily long). There is a good kids' menu. The bistro might be emphasising variety at the expense of quality. Athough the food was good, it was under-seasoned and sometimes a bit on the bland side. For example, my potato 'skordalia' tasted like plain mashed potato and the arancini needed quite a bit of salt. The prices are reasonable and we walked away very happy with our evening.

Ordered Hawaiian and chorizo pizzas. Well balanced flavours on each not salty or sauce dominating flavour. The bread is soft and delicious overall very impressed on quality. I read quite a few reviews referring to the amount of toppings but for me it was perfect. None of the toppings overpowered any of the others which for me is a perfect pizza!
