Great staff We ordered takeaway on the go Girl named Kamna from one the staff she was too good she offered her help to my wife as she was carrying little one and receiving our order so she just saw little one in arms so she asked if need help she can come and drop food to car it was really nice of her Food compared to other KFCs seems quite fresh and tasty Nice clean toilets Lots of car park and fuel station around the place

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Just went through the drive thru and it was incredibly quick! We were in and out in less than 3 minutes! And food was hot and fresh. Thanks team!

Had dinner there last night, got to be the best quality chicken I've had in a KFC; whole meal beautifully cooked to perfection. Ada? provided excellent service - really pleased I made the stop on the way through; know where to get my fix now 👍

5 star for the food and 1 star service and cleanliness. The lady serving had no welcome and seemed a bit rushed. The guy that was manager I think (Karen was all I could make out on his name tag) was busy talking with a girlfriend at one of the only clean tables available. The toilets were a disgrace too, toilet paper everwhere and old pee smell. Just dirty to be honest. Surprisingly the food was top notch, fresh hot chicken, gravy and chips, cold fizzy drink too.

We arrived there a half hour before the indoor service was closing where they had already cleaned up and limited food was still available, friendly staff and we were served quickly for what we wanted to eat. Sat down and enjoyed our meal and then left. Thank You for accommodating us when it got close to closing for the day. Speaks highly of your team on duty last night.

I stopped off here on a long trip as it was one of the few places open at 7pm. I stood at the counter for ages while staff bustled about. Clearly they were busy but no one called out they would be there shortly and I felt ignored. I just ordered chips and a drink but have to say the chips were yum. They had a slightly spicy coating which was very addictive. I'd go back for the fries but think I'd try the drive thru instead

I had a wicked wings snack park and it was the best KFC I even have. The wings were very crunchie outside and still moist inside. And the chips smell so good and I wish I had unlimited supply.

Our first experience wasn't 100% positive but management addressed the issue and we have been back this evening and really enjoyed our meal. We would recommend KFC matamata as a family friendly place to try.

The best kfc we've been to. Food was cooked perfectly and we got everything we ordered. The shop and toilets were very clean. Very impressed and will be back soon.

We come here once a week for our families takeout and 8 times out of 10 we are happy with what we get but the last few times haven't been great in fact tonight we spent $40+ and can't eat over half of it. Chips are old cold and hard and the chicken is really over cooked and coating tastes burnt. Probably won't be back now. UPDATE 1 YEAR LATER we often find that both KFC and Maccas often get our order wrong but I wanna give KFC props we always go back and give them the chance to fix it and are always treated well and with a smile unlike the alternative! Thanks team keep it up.
