Reviews of Matamata Club
C.As we were here for a family member’s passing the set up and club itself is nice and very spacious. Good to watch the team going at it with bowls and that everyone enjoyed lunch, best of all was the bar. Was a good day in the community otherwise.
M.We had a function for 100 people. The food and service were great.Highly recommend the club restaurant. Chef is very abliging. Manager of the club is also helpful.

L.Went to funeral. Sadly much of the food was prefrozen i.e. savories and apple shortcake were inedible as full of water. Sandwiches were fine. Savouries were a real disappointment. Been to many after funeral eats and never had partially frozen food before.

The Club has amazing facilities: Darts, Pool tables, TAB, Raffles, Superb Restaurant Meals and Snacks, Pokies and much more.
There is also regular entertainment by high quality artists.
J.Lovely service from bar staff.Had to wait such a long time for our meal, would have been very close to an hour.Four of us in our group had fish, which was tasty, but very overpriced for what we got.Waitress didnt seem to know to much about what was on the menu.overall very disappointing.
