Went for a family meal. Meals were quite big and very tasty. Kids meals were great too. Menu was a little different to the one online and one of the beers on the menu was no longer available, which was annoying, but we got quite good service and ultimately great food so 5 stars in the end. Worth a visit for sure.

Love the ribs here, falls of the bone and full of flavour. As for the Kumera wedges, beautiful and crunchy. Great Meal if your looking for ribs. Look forward to going back for more

Lovely Roast meal, My only concern was the lack of staff wearing masks the two Kitchen staff I seen and the lady who served us no mask on the whole time I was there.

Very welcoming, checked to see if our night was going well. Bar man tops. Made sure we had everything we needed and quick to tidy away plates from table. Best soda water I have ever had squeeze lemon around top of glass and into drink. Awesome thanks

Very cold on a wet cold day I had the roast meal meat was tough and vegetables were raw I think they were supposed to be steamed would not go back.Neither would my friend who was with me Very disappointed

Service slow to start. Showed us to table, then 10-15 minutes til brought water over & offered drinks. I had the ribeye steak. Was tasty, but there was no room on plate, so therefore steak lay over top of half the fries. Sauce should have been in a jug, not a bowl.... which took up too much room on plate. So presentation poor; & because plate was too small it made it difficult to eat. Decor drab & dark. Needs a refresh & lighten up. Very 80's/90's. Lighting not over all tables. Price....found meals priceý; in light of fact they're pub meals. Much nicer places with the meals at same or lower prices. Now I hadn't been here in a long time, & I felt I was in a time warp. So, overall, meals good, but pricey & not overall good value for money.

Superb dinner on Friday 20th Sep 2019 Except for the pratt who was babbling about putting a bad review on line because he was asked to return the reserved table he had hijacked for his party. What a jerk. Life is all about him it seems. Amazing staff do the place proud

Tasty food, but the service can be variable, and the place can be noisy, depending on when you're there. But overall, worth a visit if you're after a quiet beer or an affordable, filling meal.
