Went here for breakfast and ordered a coffee with pancakes 🥞 they were absolutely delicious fresh fruit with a blueberry jam whipped cream and maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar yum! The staff were also very welcoming in our arrival

Woody, rustic, indoor/outdoor style, not too busy, coffee was great, good range of food, fritata was excellent,as was salad, only reason not giving five stars was the sign out front 'welcoming all'. Staff were all masked, but not asked for vaccine proof, no masks in evidence from any others in the cafe.

We had woodfired pizzas there yesterday after finishing the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. They were delicious, probably some of the best pizzas we've had in NZ! Also the live band was really good and the overall atmosphere was awesome, everyone was super friendly! A great end to a beautiful couple of days in the National Park.

My wife and I have frequented this cafe for as long as we can remember. Perched right at the start of tha Abel Tasman National Park it has a stunning wetland outlook. Under continuous ownership all that time it has established a winning formula. Quality food, exceptional coffee, amazing friendly and competent staff and live entertainment. Indoor and outdoor options including outdoor pizza oven. Do not miss this wonderful place if you are in the Tasman area.ì

Was a little let down with the evening meals menu, meal we had was okay but not totally up to scratch but adequate. Lovely young staff were were friendly and quite efficient and experience plus training will come with time. Bar was also under whelming but okay. The place would definitely be better than we stuck being able to sit outside but the weather wasn't conducent but nothing can be done to change that, great views of the beach, park and bay in general. Would return if staying there in the future and see what changes they make to the menu.

Incredible pizzas. Their tomato sauce base tasted home made and was packed with flavour. Only issue was how busy it gets in summer! It’s tough to get a table and food can take a while. But if you can go on off peak times It’s definitely worth it! Really great service with friendly staff too.

Bathed in sunshine in a sheltered setting, unlike some of the other cafe choices in the area. Even though it's July, I regretted my merino wool choice for a top. (Although there is shade if you want it.) I had the most delicious gluten free chocolate brownie served warm with cream. Perfect texture, light. I wish I knew how to make it. Not sickly either. Just delicious.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place! My husband and I ordered a burger and a garden salad to share, not expecting much. Both were delicious! The salad was very fresh, (with amaaazing tomatoes, beets, sunflower seeds, etc.) and we loved the dressing. The burger was also fantastic. Can't speak to anything else on the menu but we were definitely happy with our choices!

Such a great place so centrally placed right at the park entrance with a nice cold drink, delicious food all with great price. Thank you. My smoked fish salad was very tasteful and my husband really enjoyed his fish of the day. The local beer and wine added a wonderful touch. Cheers!

And their cakes and slices are super yummy! but its also the atmosphere that the amazing Park Cafe Staff create, they do an amazing job weither you are walking the Abel Tasman or are just passing through-always friendly people:-) go along to their open mic nights on Thursdays if you want a real local experience.

Great place to grab food before starting the Abel Tasman walks. We had breakfast it was simple but very nice, bacon, eggs, homemade hash and toast. You can also sit with a view of the start of the walk to get you in the zone!

Food was average compared with what I understood it to be like... Generic pizza being main menu list and reasonable range of other choices which our group tried many plus 2 types of pizza. Nice stop after a great walk. First day I went for dinner (kitchen close at 8pm) and couldn't get a pizza. They make only a certain amount. So ordered a goulasch which was delicious with a great sauce, veggies and a kind of dumplings from bread. Service very friendly. Next day, like I wanted to try the pizza I get in for lunch...but... Pizza from 4pm!!! So I had to wait. Service was not so nice as at night and finally the pizza was ok.

Great place to relax after a hike on the Abel Tasman. Thursday is host to open mic night; it gets crowded, so get here early for a good seat. A pint will cost you $10 and a medium slice of pizza, $5.

The food is fresh and tasty, but the choice is limited. The possibility for gluten intolerant people to have a gluten-free pizza and a small selection of desserts is commendable. The selection for the younger guests is not great, there is only french fries. Alternatively, you could also offer nuggets. (Original) Ein gemütliches Café, wo man auch deftige Sachen wie Hamburger oder Pizza essen kann. Leider ist ein Teil des Personals etwas unbeholfen aber im großen und ganzen gut organisiert. Das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt lecker aber auch begrenzt in der Auswahl. Lobenswert ist die Möglichkeit für Gluten intolerante Menschen, dass es einen Glutenfreie Pizza und auch eine kleine Auswahl an Nachtisch hat. Nicht so toll ist die Auswahl für die kleinen Gäste, es gibt nur Pommes. Alternativ könnte man auch Nuggets anbieten.
