Went here for breakfast and ordered a coffee with pancakes 🥞 they were absolutely delicious fresh fruit with a blueberry jam whipped cream and maple syrup and a dusting of icing sugar yum! The staff were also very welcoming in our arrival

Went for dinner in March and the place was humming. Great staff & the food was so good, we came back for breakfast the next day. The views out into Golden Bay are an added bonus

We stopped in here for our first real fresh food after 5 days on the Abel Tasman Track. Fried chicken was delicious, garlic bread was great and the burgers are awesome!

An iconic cafe at the entrance to the Abel Tasman National Park. Offering a range of food options from coffee and slices to a full menu selection. This cafe has a great atmosphere and spectacular outlook. Well worth a visit.

The portion sizes for all the meals were pretty big, especially the beef burger!! Unfortunately all the food we got, was actually cold. The staff were amazing though. Overall, it was a good experience

Great atmosphere and lots of sun in the outdoor area. My waiter was lovely and friendly. My seafood dish was really salty my stomach was unsettled after this.

We had the best pizza here after a day hike on the Abel Tasman. The base was seriously impressive! The fish & chips were very good too. Highly recommended.

Stopped and got a beer and garlic bread after four day hike in able Tasman . Was delicious. Service was good but a bit confusing about where to order . Also pizzas don’t appear to be done at lunch and current opening hours were non standard .

Visited after spending time on Able Tasman track. Woody, rustic, indoor/outdoor style, not too busy, coffee was great, good range of food, fritata was excellent,as was salad, only reason not giving five stars was the sign out front 'welcoming all'. Staff were all masked, but not asked for vaccine proof, no masks in evidence from any others in the cafe.

Not a bad place to enjoy some well deserved drinks and food after the Tasman Track. The fish & chips and pizza salami we had were all right.

I attended a wedding reception here and it was 'WOW' . Beautiful food, service and ambience. The staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

Lovely place, lovely staff, utterly gorgeous scenery (of course). All the food on the menu is of the highest quality, in good portions, and fresh!!! Oh... ..and a special mention must go to, not only the mussels, but the seafood fettucine and the woodfired pizzas. And did I mention the exceptional staff?? They are exceptional.

We had woodfired pizzas there yesterday after finishing the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. They were delicious, probably some of the best pizzas we've had in NZ! Also the live band was really good and the overall atmosphere was awesome, everyone was super friendly! A great end to a beautiful couple of days in the National Park.

My wife and I have frequented this cafe for as long as we can remember. Perched right at the start of tha Abel Tasman National Park it has a stunning wetland outlook. Under continuous ownership all that time it has established a winning formula. Quality food, exceptional coffee, amazing friendly and competent staff and live entertainment. Indoor and outdoor options including outdoor pizza oven. Do not miss this wonderful place if you are in the Tasman area.ì

Was a little let down with the evening meals menu, meal we had was okay but not totally up to scratch but adequate. Lovely young staff were were friendly and quite efficient and experience plus training will come with time. Bar was also under whelming but okay. The place would definitely be better than we stuck being able to sit outside but the weather wasn't conducent but nothing can be done to change that, great views of the beach, park and bay in general. Would return if staying there in the future and see what changes they make to the menu.

We ordered cabinet food and they took so long to heat the croissant that coffee and tea were cold.

Incredible pizzas. Their tomato sauce base tasted home made and was packed with flavour. Only issue was how busy it gets in summer! It’s tough to get a table and food can take a while. But if you can go on off peak times It’s definitely worth it! Really great service with friendly staff too.

Nice location. They were charging a 15% public holiday surcharge today (not a NZ public holiday). Have just checked my bill & for some reason the Bundaberg ginger beer listed at $5 cost me $6.33. But it is a nice location.

Bathed in sunshine in a sheltered setting, unlike some of the other cafe choices in the area. Even though it's July, I regretted my merino wool choice for a top. (Although there is shade if you want it.) I had the most delicious gluten free chocolate brownie served warm with cream. Perfect texture, light. I wish I knew how to make it. Not sickly either. Just delicious.

Great place to chill out after a walk in Abel Tasman Park.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place! My husband and I ordered a burger and a garden salad to share, not expecting much. Both were delicious! The salad was very fresh, (with amaaazing tomatoes, beets, sunflower seeds, etc.) and we loved the dressing. The burger was also fantastic. Can't speak to anything else on the menu but we were definitely happy with our choices!

Such a great place so centrally placed right at the park entrance with a nice cold drink, delicious food all with great price. Thank you. My smoked fish salad was very tasteful and my husband really enjoyed his fish of the day. The local beer and wine added a wonderful touch. Cheers!

And their cakes and slices are super yummy! but its also the atmosphere that the amazing Park Cafe Staff create, they do an amazing job weither you are walking the Abel Tasman or are just passing through-always friendly people:-) go along to their open mic nights on Thursdays if you want a real local experience.

Nice food in a lovely setting. Good choices in seating... indoor, outdoor, under cover, in the sun etc etc. No wifi so people talk to each other 😊

Great place to grab food before starting the Abel Tasman walks. We had breakfast it was simple but very nice, bacon, eggs, homemade hash and toast. You can also sit with a view of the start of the walk to get you in the zone!

Food was average compared with what I understood it to be like... Generic pizza being main menu list and reasonable range of other choices which our group tried many plus 2 types of pizza. Ok but nothing to say I should come again? Pictures of food did not really look like what was offered. Which looks well presented. Was more food thrown on plate look for us all..

Nice stop after a great walk. First day I went for dinner (kitchen close at 8pm) and couldn't get a pizza. They make only a certain amount. So ordered a goulasch which was delicious with a great sauce, veggies and a kind of dumplings from bread. Service very friendly. Next day, like I wanted to try the pizza I get in for lunch...but... Pizza from 4pm!!! So I had to wait. Service was not so nice as at night and finally the pizza was ok.

Great place to relax after a hike on the Abel Tasman. Thursday is host to open mic night; it gets crowded, so get here early for a good seat. A pint will cost you $10 and a medium slice of pizza, $5.

I had a great fruit smoothie and omelette here he day I started the Great Walk. Five days later, after reaching Wainui and getting a ride back to Marahau, I made sure to stop in for lunch before hitting the road. I was there a bit too early for pizza, though - I'll have to come back again!

Lovely place, need more staff

One of the best pizza in NZ (with a perfect tasty thin crust 😊) at the doorstep of an iconic national park.

Cracking good coffee and beautiful seating and surrounds. Breakfast looked a bit rushed and messy on the plate however and the real fruit ice creams could do with more berries. Pretty cool spot however and would definitely return.

Good food and a nice spot with a nice view. Poor service. The lady forgot about us and I had to find her to give my order. There was also a 15% holiday surcharge which she forgot to tell us about and that I found out only by looking at my check. I told her about it and she totally didn’t care that she forgot to talk about it.

I had the best falafel burger I'd had in my life. Same with the berry smoothie. That smoothie was all fruit and no dairy-based additives. Just perfect. Coming back very soon.

Very nice Place to have Dinner -- the Food was good and the Waiter we had was very funny ! It's a beautiful Spit! They can get very busy ! We went there a second time and there were short Staff it was not as good then the first time but things like that can happen -- overall experience it's a great Place to have Dinner and the Prices were Ok !

It’s alright, I guess. The food’s legit. Anyone who says anything different isn’t talking through the same hole they eat with. Much of the produce is grown locally by people who care deeply about food, then prepared and served by people with genuinely broad experience and an understanding of what goodness is.

Got a good vegan sandwich. They couldn't make the pizza vegan because they where pre made. Also didn't want to serve me when I arrived just a couple of minutes after the kitchen was closed.

Excellent Cafe , and within a 3 minute walk to the best Holiday Park in NZ , plus Art Gallery, Kayaking, Horse Riding, Water Taxis and it's right at the start of the Abel Tasman Coastal Walkway. And golden sand beaches everywhere. A must see and do in NZ.

Loved it! Ate there two days in a row. Some of the best seafood chowder I have ever had.

We enjoyed the pasta bolognaise and Nasi goreng, both dishes of the day. Staff was friendly. Great live music.

Delicious home made (from fresh, frozen fruits) ice cream - definitely 5+. Pizza - only 3. Lamb - only 2,5. New Zealander mussels - 4.5 (a little too salty)

Very nice and lively place at the entrance of the Abel Tasman national park. The open mic nights are great, especially when someone who's called "Rob" plays the harmonica!

The food is fresh and tasty, but the choice is limited. The possibility for gluten intolerant people to have a gluten-free pizza and a small selection of desserts is commendable. The selection for the younger guests is not great, there is only french fries. Alternatively, you could also offer nuggets. (Original) Ein gemütliches Café, wo man auch deftige Sachen wie Hamburger oder Pizza essen kann. Leider ist ein Teil des Personals etwas unbeholfen aber im großen und ganzen gut organisiert. Das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt lecker aber auch begrenzt in der Auswahl. Lobenswert ist die Möglichkeit für Gluten intolerante Menschen, dass es einen Glutenfreie Pizza und auch eine kleine Auswahl an Nachtisch hat.
