The vibe and decor are great and staff are very friendly. Thorough pass checking which is encouraging to see. Drink service was all over the show, we had a large group but I got completely the wrong beer and some drinks were missed. Then if they came to get further drinks orders it took 15-30 minutes for them to come out, as opposed to going to the bar and getting them right away. Staff knowledge of what they were serving was lacking too. Food was hit and miss, each dish was just a little off. Chicken was plentiful but the coating was bland and hardly any sauce. Pork was tasty but too much sauce and too many flavours. However there were only rave reviews on the two steak dishes and the fresh fish. It's Christmas and covid so have to allow for a bit of slip. Overall the experience was.... OK, which is lower than expected. Will go back though.

Dined there on New Years eve, the place was super busy, but the service was great, while most of us enjoyed our meals my partners steak was a little underwhelming, but the staff dealt with this in a very professional manner. Would definitely be back. Happy New Year 😀

Our dinner and drinks at this restaurant were really amazing! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. It’s a very busy restaurant, so obviously popular with the locals, and that is always a good sign! The menu offered many choices for meat eaters and vegetarians alike, and had multiple local seafood choices, too. I had the Panko Calamari and the grilled salmon, and my wife had a Rocket Salad and a Sticky Rice bowl with salmon. All excellent choices from their menu. They have a good wine list and plenty of beer choices (on tap or bottled), and excellent cocktails. Prices are a little on the high end for local restaurants, but it was worth it! We would definitely return again for dinner or lunch (or a few drinks) and will recommend it to others

We tried the fish and chips, bacon burger, chicken burger and three of us had the salmon, which is a sushi dish served in a large bowl. Attended this place in early October 21 with a party of 10 for dinner. We were allocated our own room which in these Covid times was very satisfying as we were all 65 plus. The meals and service was excellent, all arrived together and there was no pressure to leave to accommodate a later booking There was a happy hour til 7.00pm . As we pay individually this was swiftly and efficiently processed upon our departure . A thoroughly pleasant experience and one we will avail ourselves of in the future,

We arrived slightly early and waited for our table to be cleared, which was totally fine for a Saturday night. It was packed and had people coming and going so much. We got our drinks and menu items very quickly. We had the duck and lamb and a side of mash potato. My husband said that was the best meal he’s had in many years and the mash potato was to die for!! We liked that we were seated in the corner near the front so we could see out into town. It was quite dark inside which we didn’t really enjoy but that’s ok. The dessert was so pretty we knew Gordon Ramsey would totally approve.

Took my family to Latitude 37 to celebrate my older son and wife’s birthdays. What an awesome restaurant, we order a large hot shared plate and my wife an angus beef with mushroom and fries. Both plates were delicious , the meat was soft and the collection of food from the shared one were wonderful, and was enough to feed my 3 little boys and me. Had a Latitude 37 Pilsen, tasted great. Well decorated, clean toilets, friendly staff, impeccable. Worth coming again for sure !

Me and my partner are regular diners and have been to Lattitude a few times in the past and always enjoyed it. Was there on Saturday nite and have to say the Italian lady we had serving us was absolutely fantastic,but unfortunately the prices of some meals were of the planet as was the wine! $60 for a bottle of wine is a bit over the top.My father had the lamb and wanted to know where the rest of the meal was,he enjoyed it but for the price was very scarce amount of food on the plate.Regards Glen.

Went for a Christmas dinner, the staff were super friendly and helpful; table was set up with beautifully (and with Christmas crackers). Food was nicely presented. I had the market fish (harissa salmon) which was nice: the couscous, pineapple with the freshly made condiments were the highlights. the salmon was slightly overcooked but still edible. the cream brulee with the ginger spiced cake was really good, esp the cake... yum! The music was a tact too loud making conversations challenging.

Both of us were really happy with our choices, we would recommend getting multiple small plates to get maximum value! The small plates were approximately half the price of the large plates and 2 small plates was the perfect quantity for me.

I had a pork sticky rice bowl, it was great, enough for a meal on its own. My wife had the duck which needed sides, she had it with mashed potato and steamed greens. She said the duck was delicious and she is a picky eater, although it was a very small portion. We were disappointed with the sides, quite basic. Over all a nice dinner out.

We went for dinner here last night, I booked online and they did forget to confirm for me so I did need to follow up but from what I know that rarely happens. We went earlier in the evening so it was still peaceful in the dining area and the staff were lovely and efficient. My favorite spot in Tauranga after a walk around Mount Maunganui. I love to sit there and order a Four Bandits sauvignon blanc wine to enjoy. The food is great too and the service is very good.

We visited here on a cruise ship and decided we needed some "different" food from the meals on the ship. We called in at lunch and obviously several other passengers thought the same as well. We picked the Beef carpaccio, oysters and pate. The plates were huge when they came out and the food was excellent, really tasty. Lots of different beers as well to choose from and a great wine selection. The young lady who served us was from Germany and she was terrific with her customer service. Unfortunately, we did not get her name but she suggested a good wine and was very pleasant to talk to. If we go back to Mount Maunganui again, I am sure we will stop here for a meal. It was 10/10.

3.7. This is a lovely, serviceable little eatery on the main drag of the mount. There were six of us in our party visiting in the high season between Xmas and new year. The service was friendly and attentive. Our party ordered a range of dishes including burgers, sliders and salads. The highlight was the salmon and kumera salad. The salmon was exquisitely fresh and came sitting astride the beautifully prepared salad. The salmon was so well cooked that it flaked off the fillet and subsequently melted in your mouth. Some of our party were critical of one of the burgers. The drinks list was good but the apple juice was dark and cloudy and divided opinions. All in all though, definitely worth a visit here.

Six of us had a fabulous meal here at the end of December 2018 including family who were visiting from England. The staff were really friendly, helpful and took time to talk to us about our meal choices. We initially ordered the tapas platter to share and then ordered more of our favourites - the beef sliders, arancini balls and sautéed prawns. So delicious! The only dish we weren't too keen on was the crispy chicken but due to personal preference rather than quality of the food. Had no room for dessert unfortunately! Would highly recommend this restaurant.

We often find it hard to choose items from a menu, so a degustation is perfect for us. We selected one fully seafood and the other with a venison and beef dish included. Wow what a great revelation this restaurant is. They offer 2 degustation menus at the same time - 1 a seafood style and the other a meat style, with some crossover between them.

Such a good value for money, we ordered 2 tapas as entree, 2 steaks on the bone and 2 sides to share for 3 people, and we were so full we couldn't even get a dessert!! So, 3 people ate their lives away for the price of 2. And the quality of the food is fantastic. I loved the polenta chips and the arancini, and the steak was cooked to perfection :) Highly recommendable

Food was devine but unfortunately the service not that good. For our group no record of "who ordered what" was kept, and we had some eating while others still waiting 20 mins later. Also a dish ordered with a side of chips.... the chips came 20 mins after the dish had been eaten. One bottle of water took 30 mins to arrive (after requesting a 2nd time)... the ladies toilets has no signage which upset my elderly mum in law as she likes to be sure where she is going from the outset.

Nice restaurant and good food but the music was too loud and too fast. The insistent, fast drum beat dominated the space and pushed everyone's voices up. I strained to have a conversation with the person next to me even leaning towards them. They turned it down a little when I asked but it didn't make a lot of difference. Both times that the music ended it made such a difference but then it restarted with the same exhausting rhythm again. My husband was so exhausted from straining to hear that he said on the way home, 'We can't do these dinners anymore.' Not a good end to a rare date night. :(

One of my favourite bars to enjoy a quiet afternoon beer, platter, watch a sports game or just chat with friends. It gets the sun outside, theres plenty of seating insite at this time and lots of beers on tap. The food is always of a high standard and plentiful. The staff are quick, friendly and the orders are alway correct. I love the decor in this bar and the space they have allowed between tables for a more personal dining experience. In the winter they have a fire pit going on one of the tables which adds to the atmosphere and flame torches outside.

The lamb and the market fish my wife and I had were terrific, the wait staff were almost too attentive and friendly, but not intrusive, and on a cold winter's night, the open fire pit and the whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A great establishment at the Mount I was involved in the fitout with my great mate Bryce Vendt, RIP. Who designed and built the establishment. I installed the Kwila floor that has survived 2 floodings and still looks great. We dined early valentines 2018 an were very impressed with our meals. This is a well set out establishment and is a credit to the Bryster and Dale Cardona, the origonal developer/owner. Current owners have keep up the standards. Unfortunatly it is pricing itself out of the market with recent increases of a 1/2 litre Pilsner now $12 They sell these as a Pint. A pint is actually 568ml

Latitude 37 is a longstanding restaurant bar in Mount Maunganui. It's a great place to watch live sport, catch some live music, enjoy a quick drink and bite to eat, or have a proper sit-down meal in the restaurant side. The food and drinks are great and there is an extensive wine menu.

Good food however I'm a little disappointed that when I slipped and fell over on the hard wood floor, not one member of staff including the guy that saw me approached me to see if I was ok or offer me ice for my swollen hand! Regardless of whether I had a drink or not surely it would have been good service to show compassion and to check how I was.
