Family dining for reasonable prices, and keto modifications can be made to food. We went back twice. The service was friendly and the portion sizes were enough even without the carbs. If you only have 2 meals per day the quantity will be small for a breakfast or dinner. They have a good atmosphere and large tables. There is a pool table and kids entertainment section, both are $2 coin operated so bring coins if you want to use these. They also have colouring in bags for the kids.

The BBC (beef bacon and cheese) spot on and the ribs were realy yummy recommend joining the loyalty program it ended up saving me 15$ on my first use after 120$ of food 3 course and 2 jugs of raspberry coke

A good family restaurant. Good food, all five of us (including two kids) enjoyed our meals very much. The venue has interesting beach themed interior decor. The staff were professional and friendly. The prices were reasonable too. All in all a very satisfying experience.

The guy that served us was absolutely fantastic, he was polite and helpful and offered takeaway sauce too. Cam is his name, and big ups to the chef as the meals were amazing! The 2 mini hotdogs and chips were a little skimpy for the price, could be 3 or 4 as the meal but over all, yum

Entree: Chrissy garlic flat bread Leek croquettes Chicken Diane Sirloin steak with chips and salad Hawke Bay Rack of Lamb $110 Mixed review from the table. Entrees were not what we were expecting. But they were a nice start to dinner. Steak was medium rare as was ordered, but was described as chewy. Nice portions. We did not get any extras. Desert Chocolate cheesecake Churros Brownies $42 Not a fan of any. The table rated the churros the best. Customer service is absolutely Wonderful. Meals were brought out on time and were a good temperature. Atmosphere was cosy casual with different stations situated around the restaurant, the location was awesome, overlooking the traffic below. Recommend.

My husband and I went here on Saturday 8 May for lunch. Chrissy the waitress that helped us was absolutely a hoot always ready for a laugh and very helpful when it came down to deciding for my husband that is on which burger to have. She said that the Kahana burger was the best my husband agrees he said it was YUMMY. I myself had the seafood pie if you're a seafood lover you will like this I loved it. All up a very enjoyable lunch we will be back you can take that to the bank.

Went there for my daughters birthday. They were absolutely packed to the rafters! The ladies serving us were so polite and friendly. The food came out about 10 min after ordering and was absolutely delicious. Would most definitely go back. Outstanding!

Good mains available here, i had the chicken burger which was very good and came with a good sauce inside the burger and also got the griddle chips but didn't need them. The deserts are quite a let down though, they are just bulk deserts which don't taste of anything other than sweet served with creme and ice cream. No flavour at all and way overpriced for what they are. The decor and the place is nice though and the staff are friendly.

Suffers from the perception it's only for families, but pretty much the only place left in the Napier CBD with a pool table, with a great outdoor area that catches the afternoon sun which makes for a great spot to sample something from their extensive drinks selection. Oh, and you can get a great feed at very reasonable prices, too! (Even better if you join up to their free loyalty programme and start receiving an immediate discount). You won't find a better-value place anywhere in town!

So I gave Breakers another shot. I tried the Monster burger Crispy Mushrooms and also the Salt and pepper squid. The monster burger is huge so if you want a decent burger definitely get this also quite tasty. The Crispy Mushrooms were great and not heavily battered so not too heavy and the Salt and pepper squid was nice... The only thing I didn't quite like was the salad very little taste and a load of lettuce. There's a load of options which will keep the kid happy too!!

Service is always great here. The food comes out swiftly and is great value for money. Obviously it isn't fine dining but that's not what Breakers is about. It's a great place to go and eat as a family. The food is always yummy. Some of their daily deals are awesome so it is always worth checking them out.

You get what you pay for. Food is OK for its price. Location is designed lovely. Don't forget to ask for the free kids meals. We didn't see there was a free meal and unfortunately there was no way to get after ordering. A bit sad.

Before we arrived at Napier Breakers when had initially gone in for there Tuseday Special that was advertised on the Breakers website. On arrival we were told that they were no longer doing those specials which was rather disappointing as it was still advertised on the Breakers website. ( Iv checked again and the special is still on the website today ) However we still had a meal at Breakers. We ended up ordering 2x Chicken Diane's which were nice but the portions sizes were very disappointing for $24.90. However very pleased with the customer service, it was very welcoming and good but im disappointed with the food sizes and breakers advertising. Dont think I'll be returning anytime soon

After writing such a poor review last month on Breakers Napier I am pleased to say this month we had an excellent meal there. You have to try the Maccaroni Cheese, just like Mother used to make, although if I had any comments I would have added mushrooms and sprinkled bread crumbs over the top to solidify the cheese sauce. But very very nice meal and one I will definitely order again. Service was good, poor lighting near the counter is a problem for those with less than perfect eyesight.

Went to Napier on Wednesday night. Food was average. Unfortunately a chair leg gave way and my hubby ended up on the floor. The young man who came out offered a free drink when told we didn’t drink but perhaps a discount off the meal he said “I can’t do that” and took the chair away. No apology or anything. Not a good look Breakers you need to up your game!!!!
