If you are in Napier, you CANNOT leave without dining here. I promise you, this will be the best dining experience you have ever had. When I tell you that every aspect of it was perfection, I tell no lie. From the first impression with the decor, layout and kitchen. To the cocktails, our servers and last but CERTAINLY not least, the exquisite food, I could cry it was that incredible. The food was a carefully crafted combination of flavours that will leave you speechless. I had the manchego croquettes, raw fish starter, confit duck for main and a caramel white chocolate mousse for dessert. I also had the pleasure of trying their duck and pistachio terrine, lamb rump main and market fish main which were equally exquisite. Thank you for such a wonderful evening x

Wonderful food, very good wine list. The manchego croquettes with honey were fab as was the perfectly cooked beef fillet. The setting in an old fire station with large windows was great, with comfortable chairs and lots of room around the tables.

The food was great, but it was the service, the decor and the attention to the little details that really made this a wonderful dining experience. Favorite dish of the night was the beetroot tart, truly delicious, and what I assume was house made stracciatella was incredible.

Wow! We had a fabulous meal at this fabulous new restaurant last night. Really amazing food and delicious wine and drinks. Loved the attention to detail - the furniture, fit-out, menu, dinnerware, cutlery, and glasses were all cool. The restaurant just has a cool 'vibe'. The 4 of us described our different choices as some of the most delicious food that we had ever eaten. The front of house staff were very knowledgeable and professional, giving us good information and great wine matches too. Also loved the cool art in the bathrooms :) !!

The service was quite friendly and certainly up to other fine dining places. The tuna was very nice. A little bit of heat due to the wasabi. The lamp rump was the standout. Melt in your mouth delicious 😋. Highly recommended. Prices are $35-40 for the main which is standard for fine dining restaurants.

Great experience and great addition to the Hawke's Bay gastronomy scene. We tried different things and all was tasty , well presented and really enjoyable. Maybe will be nice to have a few more options with the wines by the glass but it's just a suggestion.

A very gorgeous meal, the duck was superb and my husband had the steak which was perfect. The duck liver pate was smooth and full of flavour. Waitress was so friendly and helpful. Would go again anytime. Treat yourselves to a great meal out.

We had FABULOUS food but the service was abrupt and hasty, punctuated with eye rolling and 'huffy sighs'. Sadly Central Fire Station, your front of house wait staff let down the kitchen and foodie team badly. We were a group of regular diners and im sorry but I wont be returning for a while...

Went for dinner with my partner as it was his birthday. I made a booking and in spite of that we anyway had to wait for almost 20min for our table (after we got some discount for the wait). When we ordered the appetizers the waitress didn't understand how we wanted our courses so they didn't come together, overall none of the staff seamed experienced (this comes from 2 people who have been working in hospitality for over 10 years as chefs and I have been in FOH for over 3 years as well) We ordered the salmon dish that was the tiniest food ever and costs $20! The lamb dish we shared on the other hand, was awesome. The restaurant looks great but I was expecting something better. I don't think I would go back as it seems to be too pricey for what they deliver.

In town for few days and this place was recommended to us by a taxi driver. It is sublime.most stunning building and fitout. Interesting local wine list . You have got to have the bread and brown butter. We booked again for tonight ...

We had dinner with our family here to celebrate an anniversary. Not only was the food superbly presented, it tasted great and was delivered by very able and friendly staff. Having asked about a vegan option in advance, they provided delicious alternatives for each course. We have no hesitation recommending this great restaurant.

Nice atmosphere. Deep fried pecorino & honey was fine. The gurnard was well cooked and the smoked fish ravioli were interesting. In future I'd probably just go down the road to Vinci's.

Octopus entree was absolutely delicious - sadly let down by the duck which was under cooked and chewy :( And, at$66 for a $24.99 bottle of wine, served chilled, I would have expected it to have been kept chilled for the duration instead of just being plonked on the table and left to come to room temperature.
