Absolutely amazing food and service! I called a couple of hours before arriving needing a table for 21 people and they made it happen, the service was fantastic and the food was perfect! All our meals arrived at the same time and everyone thoroughly enjoyed what they ordered. Also loved that there were so many cocktail choices on the beverages menu! Next time we are in Hawke’s bay we will be back!

Excellent service, fabulous decor and ambiance, very yummy food! My Vanilla Creme Brulee was the best I've had. I highly recommend Kork n Barrell - you will not be disappointed!

Sunday afternoon in the Napier sun - 31 degrees - we sat out on the deck overlooking the fishing port and enjoyed a fine cold beverage or two and loaded fries - and Ms Teen had a shrimp cocktail !
The food while just a quick snack was not cheap but it was good and convinced us we should return for dinner another day.
The service was friendly and efficient - no stress atmosphere ( the staff knew what they were doing! )
I had a brief look around the interior which had the old wine barrel kiwi vineyard feel to it - I have to return just to soak up the atmosphere.
I was pleasantly surprised and suggest that while in Ahuriri have a look, have a drink and stay for something from the menu.

The food here is superb. Perfectly cooked, seasoned and balanced. To top it all off the service was timely, friendly and wonderful. It was full both nights (yes we went 2 nights in a row). Definitely in my top 5 places to eat in NZ
