Excellent fish and chips! Clean and crisp, no oily after taste ... easy to see why it gets busy in here, but worth the wait (phone ahead, we did and their estimated wait time was very accurate!).

I use to live in Napier but now live in Auckland. Everytime I come back I always stop in here. Hands down no one in Auckland make fish and chips like these guys... even when u eat the chips the next day and they're cold they still taste yum. I highly recommend the all sauces chips.

Best Fish ever. Not greasy and was soo fresh and tasty. I don't have fish and chips simply because its hard to find a good place that has good fish... Now that I know I'll be going there in the future..

Best chips ever, really they are amazing and stay crunchy til next day if you can't finished them as they give a generous portion. The fish is nice and fresh light bathered and well seasoned. Our favourite in Hawke's Bay !!!

We get chips from here every Monday night and some times 2 or 3 nights a week. These are the best chips my partner and I have ever had and we LOVE hot chips! Awesome customer service and the food is consistently delicious! Also do vegetarian spring rolls which is a great bonus!

Chips are some of the best I've ever had but they miscommunicated my phone order last visit and hadn't even started cooking by the time I arrived to pick it up as discussed over the phone

This shop has the set quaility of how chips should b cooked each and every time and it makes many other shops a distant memory of being dissapointed especially those slack ones with the unchanged oil factor yuck.

A surprising find, driven past it for years. It looks nothing much from the outside but has the best chips and pineapple fritters.fish nice, a touch greasy .... but you get that with fried food! My new faviourite f &c shop.

Lovely good sized fish and crispy batter without drying the fish out. Nice spring rolls and their sausages are huge. Hot dog on a stick are the legit ones (saveloy). Only bugbear and have no idea why they do it this way,; you need to ask for your fish to be wrapped separately from chips instead of them doing it by default (for the sake of a little more paper?) Obviously they will get soggy otherwise. Rainbow Fish supply are normally very good at pumping out the orders fast as well.
