Definitely the best curry in Napier! This restaurant never fails to deliver on delicious curries, good service and delightfully authentic Indian decor. Well worth going to.

I went here three years ago, then again last month. The first time I ate there one night, and went back the next night as my friend had tried my meal and wanted to eat a whole portion. The meal I had was the Malai Kofta. As soon as I went back to Napier I had to go there and see if they cooked it as well again, and they did. Sanam has a nice atmosphere and pleasant staff and good hygiene. Everyone I went with enjoyed their meals greatly.

An absolute jewel in the crown of Napier is the Sangam Indian restaurant. The decor is delightful with great ambience and attention to detail which provides the perfect setting for the wounderful indian cuisine. The menu is extensive and the food authentic its a pleasure to taste the delights that come from the kitchen. For an overall great experience and authentic indian cuisine its well worth the effort. Highly recommended.

Friday night dinner takeaways at 10pm so we were very happy to be served fresh and spicy chicken. It was fast and the service was great, we’ll definitely be back.

Got a takeaway tonight ordered butter prawn and a fish curry ... got butter chicken by mistake... gave them a ring to let know about the wrong dish and they delivered the prawn within half an hour. The curries were all delicious and will definitely be going back again. Service was fabulous and the uber driver was a real gent. Highly recommend these guys. Thanks again.

Would give 10 stars if possible. Hands down best Indian food I've had, ever. Meat was tender, juicy and delicious. Food was fast, presented very well and service was amazing. Very relaxing atmosphere, the staff are very humble and friendly making us feel very welcome. Prices are very reasonable and they were happy to doggy bag the left overs. Would highly recommend to everyone and we will most certainly be giving them the rest of our business when it comes to having some quality Indian in the future. Good job the team at Sangam ++

Fantastic flavoursome food from an extensive choice. Great service and friendly staff. Kadahi Chicken - extra hot. Aloo Methi - extra extra hot. Both cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. If you're in Napier make this your "go to" curry house. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite places in Napier. Chicken Tikka Masala is very nice, everyone was happy with their orders. Just go try it if you like indian food.

Very nice vegetarian meal - lovely starters and the mains were fantastic. Excellent vegetarian korma - tasted beautiful not too sweet. Would recommend.

The best curry I've had in all around nz!! Usually can't find something like this in Auckland. Make sure you ask for 'CTM' if you like spicy curry, honestly the best

A beautiful tasty meal and the chief went out of his way to cook me Tandoori prawns as they weren't on the menu yum yum . Would highly recommend this Indian Restraunt in Napier.

Myself and my family were in Napier and looking for somewhere to eat and came across the restaurant. My expectations weren't too high but I was pleasantly surprised. The food had a good amount of flavour and the dishes we tried were distinctly different. Service was friendly and efficient. I would happily eat here again!

Decided to try this place whilst visiting Napier and got no regrets. Excelente food and service!

Very nice! Tried lamb vindaloo and fish goa - both were very tasty. We tried a new (to me) naan that had some fruit in it, which was also very good. The house IPA was good, but not remarkable. Service was excellent and very professional. Definitely go again.

Great variety of dishes would go back again

One of the only places in New Zealand that you can get Not just cobra with your curry but King Cobra. The Lamb Madras is quite good. Service was good. Menu is quite varied with lots of options to choose from.

Traditional Indian decor flavour, food (lamb korma) for me was ok asked for mild which made it salty/sweet but ok next time will get a medium spice, wife ad balti chicken and throughly enjoyed it and said would come back again, good service as well.

We have always found food very good, and return every visit to Napier. One of NZ's best Indian restaurants. Service excellent.

It's kind of hidden away, the wall decorations are quirky. The food is amazing, the cheese in the cheese naan is so soft. Really good mango chicken.

Balbir, the owner, runs this as a family business and that is always a good sign. I'm local and there are lots of Indian restaurants in town, but this one is the best. My regular criticism of restaurants of this type are the meagre meat portions in the curry, but Balbir is generous and will always put in extra if you ask him -- for a small price increase. Having travelled through India I can say the food is as close as you can get ethnically wise for NZ.

We eat there very often on Sundays and it always exceeds our expectations and never lets us down. The service is very good and they are always so welcoming. There is nothing to fault about them.

I would extremely recommend this restaurant in New Zealand because of high quality of food and excellent customer service went on bussiness trip to hawkes bay had dinner with twenty-five people all of us got served with high quality of food and exceptional service. Trotzdem 4 Sterne.
