A.Tom yum soup was tasty but could a little more sour. 14.9$ entree with prawns. Expensive given the quantity.
Also had green Thai house curry + chicken. This was creamy, cocci it and a nice flavour. Must remind that it was so it but enjoyable. 18.9 and plus 2$ rice.
Overall 2.5 - 3 /5 for taste, quality and value.
Certainly once a visit.

A.My family of 5 went to Sri Thai for dinner last night 24/10/21. We got the fish cakes, stuffed mushrooms and satay chicken as starters and they were absolutely delicious! Our 5 mains were absolutely delicious also! We all share the plates!
The service was fantastic, lovely staff, we often were asked if we needed anything extra.
Very busy night so small wait time! 😀

R.I acquired a love for Thai and Vietnamese food while on an Asian cruise/stay vacation a few years back. I always read the reviews when traveling in areas where Asian food is common, like New Zealand. I was pleased to find a highly recommended restaurant offering both. Sri Thai lived up to its reputation... The food was authentic and very tasty... The service was inexplicably slow.
We arrived rather late in the evening. You know, not too late that the kitchen is closing down, but after the rush, where most tables that empty are not reseated. For this reason and the fact that the server promptly took our order and delivered the wine, I put the blame on the kitchen crew for taking over an hour to deliver the main course, including the soup.
That being said, the Fancy Thai Prawn Appetizer arrived in a somewhat timely manner, but it took the kitchen another 45 minutes for the Tom yum soup, the Spicy Basil Noodles, and the Chicken Lemon Grass. Maybe the 45-minute wait heightened our appetite, allowing us to appreciate the food even more. Regardless, even after the wait, the food was great.
So... if you find yourself in Napier craving some authentic Asian cuisine AND you aren't in a hurry, Sri Thai might just be for you!

j.Fantastic Thai & Vietnamese menu. Food is delicious and quick service. Always busy here. Eat in or order take aways. Good value for money. Friendly efficient staff. One of our favourite restaurants actually. Can cater for large groups too. May pay to book a table at peak hours.

C.The food is ok but the service was pretty average. Not offered a drink so had to wait for quite a while for waiter to return to our table and ask if we could order wine. He seemed surprised! There was a misunderstanding over my order and I ended up with more food than I could eat, but I was able to take leftovers away and had a tasty dinner at home the next night.

H.I am very fussy about Thai food as we used to have a fabulous local Thai restaurant when we lived in Auckland. The meal tonight was very tasty. It was served promptly and with friendly service. I hope to return soon.
F.Friendly staff with a great welcome great food. There were a few of us and their took our order very smart. The dishes look great and hot the staff looked after us very well we will be going back again.Veges and rice was delicious, as was roti and chicken sticks. Everything is fresh, tasty and presented really well. Super quick and affordable.
D.An excellent Thai and Vietnamese restaurant. It was very full when we were there, with a very diverse crowd - showing its local popularity. They have a very good spiciness rating system, to let diners choose the correct level. A good, if not great, selection of beer, including a few local beers.

S.You have not tasted Thai until you have experienced Sri Thai. Excellent service great environment, and the meals are devine. they also have takeaways but i suggest to make a reservation as they are always busy, and the restaurant has a larger range of tasty dishes. what are your thoughts do you agree?

N.Average restaurant. Not authentic taste, average food. The taste of satay sauce wasn't good at all. The only thing we liked was Basil Stir fry. Service was good. Thanks.

A.The food here was great. Better than great, its probably the best Thai in Napier. The service was poor; it was New Year's Eve and our server didnt want to be there. Slow to take orders, didnt seem attentive and was boardering rude. Maybe understandable given it was NYE, but put a bit of a dampener on things, as did the lack of BYO (it's usually BYO, just not on NYE - dont know why (the cynic in me says it's a way to make that sweet NYE coin, but I'm probably being unfair and it's just as likely to be a liquor licensing requirement)). Defiantly try it out - its great.
