D. G.One of the best sushi I have eaten so far in New Zealand (I based in Auckland). They have huge variety, reasonable price, many selection for non sushi lovers too. One of my variety was Tuna Tataki, and Eel Teriyaki. Definitely worth a visit .

Would have given 5 stars but when the food scrap buckets were collected they were walked through the restaurant with no lids on them leaving an unpleasant smell and attracting flies..

E. M.Lovley owner, very talkative and friendly. Only visited twice in our short weekend stay, but if local would become regulars. Food is well priced with good portions. Very authentic and lots of variety. If you like Japanese food, I can't reccomend this place enough! :)

T.Excellently presented with a huge variety of Japanese food. Flavour, freshness and great service every time. This is my first choice Sushi in Napier and, believe me, there are a lot of Sushi Restaurants here.We came in around 12.30pm on a Tuesday, I like the system of helping your self to a plate and sliding display, you get clean tongs and a plate or takeaway you can also order soups, we took some sushi and we ordered 2 soups,.
H.The store is worth 100000% chance to visit every time. With good food and friendly staff especially the owner smile at you all time. The food is cooked at it best without any doubts. This restaurant surely deserve your visit everyday.
C. W.Our favourite sushi place in Napier and regular lunch spot. Always a great selection of sushi, and love being able to choose our own pieces. You can put it on a plate instead of in a plastic container, and there is free tea, coffee and water. Friendly service too :)
K. R.We came in just before 2 p.m. and helped ourselves to the sushi selection. The spring rolls were stone cold, the fried chicken lukewarm at best. They seem to have interesting flavour combinations but the hot cabinet definitely requires more monitoring.
