Excellent food and exceptional service makes this restaurant shine! We went for dinner with our family for my husband's birthday. Thai is his favourite style of cooking. We all had appetizers and mains and couldn't have desert because we were too full already. The food was fresh, perfectly prepared and super spicy like my husband loves it. The service was fast and really friendly even though the restaurant was packed when we arrived. Thank you for a lovely evening.

I have been reluctant to eat at Thai Restaurants since leaving Auckland due to previous tasteless experiences. But Thai Hutt has restored my taste buds. Delicious meat and tasty vegetables served with a smile. It was a busy Saturday night and the service was prompt. Very enjoyable.

Food was ok. Tasty and fresh but found the Thai green curry more like a soup than a thicker curry. But the flavour was good. The service was a bit average, probably because they were so busy. But the food took ages to come out and the staff didn’t seem that attentive other than one person that was good. Certainly a popular place it seems with the locals and just so busy try struggle to cope on this night.

Served quickly (takeaway). They said “come in 15 min.” I got there early (10 min) and it was ready! Tasty chicken red curry. Yum!

Dangerously good is this restaurant no doubt. Service is also good as well as the vibes and music. I cleaned the plate and too full to stand up to leave the table. Order is duck and lamb shank. BTW we ordered other two for takeaway as they don't open until evening but we had to leave lovely Napier daytime.

I have eaten at the Thai Hutt many times and have never been disappointed. The food is simply delicious. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend the Red Thai curry. (It isn't on the menu anymore but they are still happy to make it).

Our meal at Thai Hutt Restaurant was superb. We found made a booking two days before and were glad we did. A busy restaurant it is. The menu is excellent and the venue clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and have great menu knowledge. Our waitress was Alice and she was wonderful. The food is well presented with excellent flavour. We will be making this restaurant one of our regulars.

Walked in on a Monday night in school holidays and were lucky to get a table for two. They were very busy and short staffed but the service was still very good. The food was excellent, good size portions and easily the best thai we've had in a long time. Ambiance was great, lighting perfect, 60's music somehow worked really well. Totally recommend this resturant if you're after thai food and a great atmosphere.

I read a bad review given by a vegan a couple of months ago. Being a vegetarian myself, I was therefore not sure about coming to this restaurant. I went there because it was the only one opened late at night... and OH MY GOD it was delicious!! Yes, you get tofu in your curry, but it comes in an incredibly flavorful sauce. It's totally worth the price. Also, the waitresses are lovely. I definitely recommend this place!

On a bitterly cold July evening we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff and we're promptly seated. The Mussaman Curry and Tom Yum Fried Rice with Prawns were both authentic with well balanced sauces and flavours. Well done and thoroughly enjoyable. Well worth a visit.

Ordered takeaways and the food was yummy - the typical Thai flavours we were expecting. Was a little disappointed that they didn't have the Curry Puffs but such is life.Great ambiance, service and food. I had the Pad Ped Crispy Pork, Roti and a glass of house Sav Blanc and it was all delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

The food here was great. Unfortunately the place had a fousty smell to it that was enough to put anyone off. I think it was the carpet, I couldn't turn way from it. Good food wont be enough to get me back.

Food is really good, staff is friendly and service is top notch. The building looks a bit run down on the outside and it could do with a fresh look on the inside. The only problem we had on valitines day was the overbooking, we were an arms length away from the people on either side. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend.
