Very good choice of food, we bought a salad and some chips to go with some mercy we had. Another time we bought 2 very good seafood pizzas. On another occasion we bought fish and chips. All was beautifully cooked and the service was prompt.

They offer gf fish and chips. My go to when in Nelson. They have a dedicated frier. So if ordering gluten fish it is put in a separate parcel. My go to fish is always blue cod.

really good takeaway for gluten free fish and chip lovers! You can also get gluten free burgers and pizza's which I was really pleased to see! The menu selection is great, and the service is always with a smile. :) The fish tastes fresh, and the chips were nice and crispy too. Will definitely come back again, one of the nicest places to go for Fish and Chips in Nelson, without a doubt

A group of us did a mini food test tour in one evening getting one order of fish and chips from a bunch of different spots in Nelson and trying them all at the same time to compare. Milton Street was our winner for taste and crispiness without being overly greasy. Wish it was less than 8,000 miles away from home so we could go more often. I also would like a slightly larger portion, but maybe that is my problem :-)

Came here for a quick takeaway dinner as I was starving and it was walking distance from the house I was staying in. The takeaway entrance is separate from the little restaurant next door. Just walked in and scanned the menu and placed my order. It looked busy and there were a couple of other people also waiting. I was told it would be 15-20mins. I had only ordered a burger, so I was a bit dismayed by the wait time. Thankfully, they got it out to me in just over 10mins, so not too bad a wait. Initially, I was also a bit dismayed that the it was only the burger for $10 (I thought it might have come w/a side of chips or something), but when I finally got home and sank my teeth in, it was very tasty, w/excellent quality meat. I also liked the flavor from the beet (which was new for me) that was on the burger. All in all, it was a quick dinner find that was delicious and surprisingly filling!

Very often very good. I buy from here regularly, the staff are polite, it's quick and there's a pub next door. If you're hungry go here, the pork burgers are especially awesome.

Visiting Nelson overnight and decided on the Milton Street Gormet Takeaway for dinner. We ordered a Gluten Free pizza and serve of chips (also GF) that were the best we have had in a veerrrry long time. It was great to see the staff using individual GF utensils that indicated their understanding of food preparation and delivery for coeliacs. The staff were delightful. We would strongly recommend the Milton Street Gormet Takeaway for any coeliacs visiting or residing in the Nelson area.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. You can even stop by the sprig and fern next door and they will deliver your food there as long as you get a drink next door. Staff were helpful in explaining the menu too
