The best pizza in NZ! Also be aware: huge sizes. Small is medium, medium is large and so on. We tried the Cheese Rolls as starter and just by itself it would worth it going to this place. Awesome service, place, food and price 👌👏

High quality of food, ingredients and service. Everything so fresh and the smell open your appetite, so don't eat before you go. We took home the leftovers pizzas and I warm it the next day, was as good as we just got it first on the table. Stuff is very friendly and the owner very welcoming. We had family from overseas and they all loved it. Thank you so much🙏 We definitely your regular costumers ❤

Probably the best pizza I had in NZ in the last 5 years! Thin base, crispy, with the right amount of toppings.

Great tasting Italian style pizza. A small size should easily feed one person. The cheese buns are also worth checking out. Long story short, if you're looking for a good pizza experience at a decent price in Nelson, this is the place to go to.

Overall a bit disappointing, their timing for the pizza to be ready was way out from what they said, and then no apology for the extra 25min of waiting over the 40 min estimate given. We had a chicken with apricot sauce but there was no detection of any apricot sauce flavour.

SUPERB pizza. Great crust, ingredients and flavor for a fair price. My boyfriend had the one with avo, fetta, olives and tomato, and I had the vegan one with artichokes, spinach, mushroom and vegan cheese, it was excellent!! Also had great glasses of montepulciano and nero wines. 100% recommended!!

Got the biggest 'madonna' pizza..omg.. delicious! So tasty.. wish we had a decent pizza shop where we live.. like this one!

Love this authentic Italian Pizzeria. Cute decor, amazing atmosphere and customer service is outstanding. Watch the maestro's at work creating pizza masterpieces and if you feel like an ice cold beer or wine there is a good selection to choose from. Summer months bring in the cocktail menu which is delicious. Great place for families and couples and the pricing is great value for money. Vegan choice of pizza is really yummy for those who are dairy free. My preferred pizzeria in Nelson.

Great food and service with a smile. The pizza here is the closest I have come to a real Italian pizza in New Zealand. Also, there is free Wifi available and it works!

Fantastic food, though be wary of the wait on the food. It seems to be popular, so allow longer than you'd think. The gentleman beside me was waiting an hour for his food at 7pm on a Thursday. The Lamborghini was awesome as were the cheese rolls. Large size pizzas as well. The smalls were really medium sized - so good value!!

The best pizza I can remember for quite some time. As long as you like thin crust, this is crisp and Mafia and Madonna both very tasty. We found small was enough, especially with a some complimentary pizza bread while we waited. Highly recommended.

Best pizza we have ever had in New Zealand(possibly the best of our lives!) We ordered this pizza to celebrate a delivery order during lock down and to celebrate my husband's birthday and everything was cooked to perfection with a free(celebratory) small glass of bubbles! Made his birthday super special and we just wanted to eat this pizza every single day.

It is a small cozy pizzeria with a delicious smell coming out through the doors The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu is clearly suited for kiwis. As a consequence, most of the options were not to our taste. Unfortunately, even the margherita and pepperoni pizzas we ordered were not to our taste (maybe due to the type of condiments used?), although clearly well prepared and with good ingredients. We also ordered garlic bread, which was ok. The pizzas and garlic bread were served on wood cutting board summing up to the nice atmosphere of the restaurant. The prices are fair.

There was a stage where they weren't cooking the bases enough (personal preference I know), however that's long passed and damnnn they're good!. Easily the best Pizza in town!

Visited many times. Loved the pizza. Especially the dessert pizza. Great service. Great food. I would totally recommend going there. Takeaway and ordering in advance is also possible but nothing is better then fresh pizza on a wooden board instead of a box. And the prices are totally reasonable. Thanks for great pizzas.

When we arrived we were cleared a seat, and sat down for a few minutes deliberating what to get off of the menu. We ordered a gluten free Madonna (chicken, cranberry and brie style), to be told that there was no gluten free bases made up. HOWEVER, the man in the kitchen very kindly offered to cook us one up if we didn't mind the wait, which we gladly accepted. There definitely was a bit of a wait, so perhaps if you are gluten free I would recommend ringing ahead to confirm that they have bases. When the pizza arrived it looked delicious, and the taste didn't disappoint. It was more of a traditional style pizza than we've ever had and was great trying something new. We followed with an affogato made with a very nice coffee. Great all round. The staff were very nice as well, and felt particularly accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Really nice pizza, Italian style thin crust and seasoning. Concerning toppings the are some fairly classic Italian style pizzas like pepperoni or ham and mushrooms but also some more american style toppings which are also nicely made. The staff is nice and the place looks clean and well designed.

Great pizzas - both traditional and gourmet, 3 sizes available. Wonderful toppings and perfect bases. Will definitely return.

Three of us ladies had one small pizza each. Gorgeous flavour and definitely more than enough each. We had the sicilian, funghi, and the fabiani on the traditional menu. Fantastic service. Great thin bases. We will be back for sure.

ive been to pizzeria Bella a handful of times now and every time is better than the last , outstanding service with a smile amazing food cooked fast, correctly and delicious. we have two puppy who are able to sit out front when we want to eat outside, have never seen someone not happy there. the biggest thing for us as a small family is the cost of a large pizza and some garlic stuffed balls is under $40 that feeds three people easy. so all up . amazing value staff prices . i cant say enough how much i enjoy my new found favorite restaurant in nelson cant wait for the many more years i have to dine at such a fabulous upstanding establishment.

awesome pizza mate! great service. lowest prices in town, when I go there at lunchtime I get the pizza in about 12min! Avoid Friday or Saturday from 6.30 to7.30, then they are really full and it can take a bit longer, but they always give you free little snacks to fill the time if it takes a bit longer. Don't get fooled by the sizes: a small pizza is really like a standard pizza at the takeaway joints, plus there is more topping than those nasty takeaway places deliver. The medium is really large if you are really hungry and the large is really a family size enough for 2 people and then its even more economic. Check it out.

Delicious pizzas! Couple of ingredients like chilli etc left off accidentally - an attention to detail issue. Staff were nice but inexperienced...the chef had to open the wine which took 5 minutes and looked like it had been hacked at with a sword. One last thing; water bottles were filled but left luke warm on the side. These should be chilled. The tasty pizza made up for it.

Love pizza bella... always enjoy the food... as we know its a busy place, we have started calling early to try miss the rush... but unfortunately it seems when we order for pick up we always end up waiting longer.. tonight we ordered for 6:15 pick up.. and I was there 5 minutes early... but found myself still sat waiting at 6.40... not the first time it's happened. I dont mind if there busy and we have to wait but if we put an order in at 5.45 to pick up at 6.15 I hope to wait maybe 5 minutes not 20+ for our food to be ready. Other than this everything else is amazing. But in a kitchen time management is key

To be honest I didn't expected to get a good Italian like pizza in Nelson but this place totally surprised me. The pizza was very delicious, the crust was perfect and their dessert pizzas are just amazing. I can totally recommend this place and would go there again.

I took all of our staff out to dinner here. All up the bill came to less than $600 including drinks. I feel this is a really reasonable price to pay for good quality food for 12 staff. I will be going again.

Nice pizza, good prices. But a very long wait for two basic pizzas (1 hr) with one of them being an anchovy pizza... and they forgot the anchovies. Quite funny!
