Delicious Italian Pizza 😋🍕. Stefanos is my favourite pizza place. I usually get the Padrino with olives. If you haven't tried it, your definitely missing out. Great place to dine then catch a movie 🎥

I cannot stress this enough, this is literally the best pizza I have ever tasted. Woodfired and crispy, and utterly delicious with the ingredients. The staff were absolutely great and if you can't eat in, they offer pick up and go options for collecting food. If you want the best pizza in town, you have to go here. Nothing beats it!

Came here and got the Padrino pizza for lunch, found the small pizza a perfect size and it was delicious 😋 A couple of tasty hot sauces on the side. Staff are friendly and attentive!

Good location, connected to the cinemas but I gotta say that the pizza was pretty disappointing. No offense to the Italian chefs but the sauce was lacking salt and general flavour, even after dousing the pizza with chilli flakes and oil the pizza was still not great. Service was good and if it wasnt for proximity to cinemas we wouldnt have considered it.

Huuuuuge pizzas with lots of topping! Only down fall is that the bases are very thin so the extra large pizzas get very flimsy to eat, but other than that still rate it very high.

Such a great place to grab a pizza. The large pizza size is huge! Good value and generous toppings given on the pizza. We ordered the two with blue cheese and they tasted great! Staff was quite friendly too with all their smiles. Wasnt too busy when we were there.

One of most delicious pizza restaurant not only in Nelson, in whole NZ. I really wish this place to be Auckland. It’s hard sometimes to find a restaurant that is specialist just in pizza. Highly recommended and first option in Nelson.

The aroma upon entering Stefano's told me right away that it's an authentic Italian pizzeria, and heat from the oven confirmed it. We ordered a large pizza that was more than enough for four adults. The high quality ingredients and the crispy crust made it irresistible. It was quite busy on a Tuesday evening but the staff made a table for us, despite we had no reservation. Could be the best pizza in New Zealand!

Delicious. I was very happy that they removed the bacon from my order and added extra blue cheese. Mmmmmmm. Will definitely order again. Great way to have tea then a movie. Recommend to anyone looking for a great night.

Came here for obvious reasons. We ordered takeaway because there was just too many people and couldnt get a seat for like the next hour, pizzas are huge and the options are a bit too complicated wish they had simplified them a bit. May also be because we couldnt eat them straight away but they felt a but greasy. Maybe under different circumstances would have had a much better experience but i have to be honest.

Great service and very well prepared dishes with a wide range of sweet and savoury. Original made desserts and multiple meal choices such as pizza, pasta, salads and chips. When the pizza's arrived, it was 2 small's WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE PERFECT because the pizza was so good, and a small was more then enough. We left full-belly-happy the restaurant when the waitress caught us on our way out, apologizing for the mistake and offering us a delicious muffin. We were so blissful, I wanted to review this place. The pizza was wonderful, but our waitress was very unpleasant. We were kicked out of the restaurant as soon as our pizza arrived because we had ordered it in a takeaway box. I could maybe understand this if the place had been really busy with sit-down customers, but there was only one other couple dining-in at the time. We'd already been served water and wanted to try a slice each before taking the rest with us, but were told that it would be "a waste of a box" to do this, and that if we had wanted to take the rest with us that they could have put it in a box later. The atmosphere she created was incredibly awkward, and rather than point out her obvious contradiction we decided it best to leave. Wonderful food, and great portions, but would not recommend sitting in (at least on days she's working). Very poor experience.

Fabulous pizza and wine at Stefano followed by a movie. The only issue I had was that the wine was not served in a wine glass.Huge selection of pizzas. Was hard to choose.

The ingredients are delicious, but the crust is undercooked every time, especially underneath. When I ask for it to be "extra" crispy (read: actually cooked), they either don't do it or barely do it. It's never cooked enough and they aren't listening to requests. Maybe recalibrate the oven to be hotter underneath? Does anybody actually like a floppy "crust"?

The crust is very thin but the pizza is pretty tasty. Our main complaint is the atmosphere. There are so many hard surfaces that the place is unpleasantly loud, made even worse by the fact it attracts kids and teenagers who are naturally louder. We always retreat to the quieter hallway to the movie theater, not as nice as the main dining area. It would be nice if they could do something to dampen the noise level.

Very busy and excellent pizzas here! Run by Italians so you know you'll be getting an authentic meal. Mussel Inn beers on tap as well as other local and Italian beers. Located upstairs at the cinema creating a perfect combination for a good night out.

This is the most authentic pizza I have had so far in New Zealand. The home made base is thin and crispy, and for the toppings they use great quality ingredients and in abundance. In many restaurants in NZ they try to sell the pizza as something fancy, but pizza is suppose to be just simple yet delicious food, and that's exactly what you get at Stefano's Pizzeria. The restaurant's settings is very simple, but as soon as you see the Italian chefs throwing the dough up to the air to stretch it and you smell the pizza coming out of the oven you know you are there for a treat. Definitely next time I visit Nelson I will stop by at Stefano's.

Went in for takeaway coffee. 4pp in line for meals but she peeled through them like a hungry man with a banana and then made my coffee straight away and got me out the door. She suffered though my weather chat with grace and made the perfect soy flat white (without foam so extra points👍) in under a minute. I wish I could go back but as she handed me my coffee she said enjoy the movie and I replied "you too"... so even though I can never return I highly recommend you do.

Visited this place during an overnight stay through Nelson. Really cool place and extremely popular (place was jam packed). The pizza was fantastic and fairly priced! It is located virtually inside the movie theater on the second floor. Seems like a no-brainer for a dinner and a movie night.

As a 40-something male who grew up in the 80s, loving motorbikes, jet planes and movies, when I heard that a new Top Gun was in the works, I was a happy chap! A group of similar aged friends and I got together, and thought that a nice precursor to the movie would be...Beer, wine and pizza! We booked a table for 6 and off we went! Firstly, the staff here are incredible. We immediately felt welcome, and were quickly seated and greeted by staff who were friendly and enjoyed a bit of banter. We asked for some advice around a wine option., and the gentleman who served us recommended a red which went PERFECTLY with our meal. We ordered 3 medium pizzas for the table, and don't let the size fool you, these were huge! The first pizza was the Napoli, the anchovies and capers were a great balance, and this was a favourite of the table. The second pizza was the Padrino, as we have some blue cheese fans amongst us. This is a MUST TRY if you are a blue cheese fan. The ham and salami sit well with the cheese, and the capsicum provides a nice burst of freshness. The third pizza was a vegetarian, as we had a couple of those in the group also! And they were not disappointed! I even had a piece of this, and as a pretty keen omnivore, I was sated. The artichokes provided some good texture and the pizza was light and tasty. Overall - This place makes a banging pizza dough, and this is what can make or break a good pizza. All of the ingredients were fresh and you could tell that experience and care has gone into constructing each pizza. Do it, you wont be disappointed.
